Improving Operation "Leadstorm" based on your feedback

We see that the Battle Pass format of the Operation "Leadstorm" event that started yesterday was not received well by many of you.

Regrettably, we can no longer drastically change the current event - but we are going to make a number of important adjustments and additions to it.

In the future, we plan to completely revise our approach to rewards to ensure that as many players as possible can enjoy the celebrations.

More rewards for everyone!

From now on, you will be able to get Silver Chests every day for participating in the "Leadstorm" event, regardless of whether you purchased the event's elite Battle Pass or not. One chest for the first battle, two for the second and three for the third.

Silver Chests occasionally appear in the shop for Silver - they are filled with Silver, orders, boosters and rewards from past events.

Their content has been updated with unique rewards from the Operation "Earth Shield" event that took place last year.

In the future, after approximately six months, rewards from Operation "Leadstorm" will also be added to future Silver Chests.

At the moment, chests open automatically at the end of the battle. We are working on a more elegant way to visualize them - but this will be implemented in a future update.

Accelerating event progression

In your feedback one of the key points was the slow progress of the Battle Pass for such a short event.

From now on, each kill in the event will grant you twice as many Battle Pass points, and for three daily tasks you will receive 9000 points instead of the current 6000 points.

As compensation for the first day, after completing one battle in the event, you will immediately receive 6000 points toward your Battle Pass progress.

Thank you for your feedback! You help us make the game better!

Operation "Leadstorm"

History is a crucial part of our game. We continuously prepare notes for you from the chronicles of the Second World War II. The most striking examples will be the biographies of outstanding soldiers, which will become readable as tooltips in the soldiers' equipment window!

Who are you, soldier?

You surely remember a legend like Pavel Likhanov. But he was not alone! We have already introduced you to soldiers with unique history, appearance and equipment - we continue to develop in this direction.

In the upcoming update, all unique characters will have a small backstory. You can already familiarize yourself with a few of them now!
Katsu Kato (AT Gunner, Japan)
Born on May 14, 1894 in Tokyo. He was known for being a direct descendant of samurai and for proudly wearing his ancestral armor throughout military operations. He distinguished himself both in the defense of his home and in international peacekeeping missions. By imperial decree, he was awarded a unique Nambu Type A sword-pistol.
Tommy Raviolli (Assaulter, USA)
U.S. Army Corporal, born on April 5, 1900 in Sicily and moved to the USA with his family at the age of 8. He allegedly had extensive ties to the Mafia. In 1943, during an operation in Sicily, he went deep undercover and changed his military uniform for a suit and fedora.

Speaking from a Sherman II tank on behalf of the Italian Don Lucino, he forced the Italian units in Villalba to surrender the town without a fight.
Max Fury (APC Driver, USA)
A heroic driver from Queensland, Australia. Born on April 12, 1919. In 1942, as a member of the 1st Australian Corps, he first distinguished himself in the battles in New Guinea: using his reliable truck, he carried out risky missions for fuel and ammunition along a route that was nicknamed the "Road of Fury".

He always carried a sawed-off double-barreled shotgun with him - for those times when he had to shoot back from the driver's seat.
John Pigeon (Guerrilla, USA)
British naval officer, born on June 9, 1893 on a ship off the coast of England. Keeper of maritime traditions and customs, as well as the owner of the most capacious leather vest in the Pacific. No one knows how many pistols he can fit in his pockets - but they are always loaded.

He distinguished himself in an operation in the Dutch East Indies and rumor has it that after the war he settled down on the Caribbean coast.
Yakov Pyatnitsev (Machine Gunner, USSR)
Born on May 31 (June 13), 1896 in the village of Ozeretskoye, Moscow region. As a big hockey fan, he never parted with his favorite mask, and as a fan of cold weapons, he always carried a machete with him. During World War II, he developed a passion for firearms - in 1941, he became the first number in a machine gun crew of the 10th NKVD Rifle Division. His military career was overshadowed by disciplinary actions for excessively cruel treatment of prisoners.
Yuri Loon (AT Gunner, USSR)
Born on March 9, 1924 in the town of Kainsk (Kuybyshev), he was drafted into the Red Army in 1942 and continued his military career even after 1945. From childhood, he dreamed of space travel, he also studied astronomy and physics, which determined his later assignments. From 1945 to 1946, he participated in the operation "Unknown War" to liberate the dark side of the Moon from the fascist invaders.
Potman Potman (Assaulter, Germany)
Legendary figure of the 7th Assault Brigade, date and place of birth - unknown. Historians still debate which of the stories about him were true.

He considered war too easy and asked his comrades not to help him in battle. The whole point was making things more difficult for him. To this end, he went into battles blindfolded and with heavy blunt weapons in his hands.

To the complaints from young warriors, he always responded with a fierce "GIT GOOD!" He believed that resting by the fire made him stronger.

Only the best will make it into Enlisted!

In the "Leadstorm" event, you will be introduced to both new unique soldiers and old ones adapted to new conditions for the first time. Reworking old locations: Seelow Heights

Our artists not only create new battlefields, but also improve existing ones based on your feedback! In the upcoming major update, you'll find that parts of the Seelow Heights location have been meticulously reworked: infantry and vehicle paths have been improved, cover and alternate routes to capture points have been added, the landscape has been adjusted, and infantry and vehicle spawn points have been tweaked. Check out the most notable improvements below!

River crossing

The "River crossing" capture point in the mission of the same name is one of the most challenging ones for the attacking team. Due to the abundance of open spaces and the need to swim across the river in some places, many soldiers simply couldn't reach it.

On the bridge, our artists removed a number of spots with direct line of sight and added more cover that soldiers of both teams could use to maneuver between. The river is now more shallow, making it much easier to wade across. If you don't want to get your soldiers' feet wet at all - you can use one of the new pontoon bridges.

Railway bridge

Another bridge in Seelow Heights, where attackers could easily get stuck. Due to the mostly flat terrain, sometimes just one tank with powerful high-explosive shells could hold this crossing.

Now the bridge is no longer an open area with a clear line of fire. The wrecks of knocked out tanks stuck on the tracks will allow you to cover the vulnerable points of your own vehicle.

Crossing the river itself has become easier - the broken wooden bridge has been repaired, the bank has been flattened, and the river itself has become so narrow and shallow that the most daring commanders can try to jump across it in some sections.

The newly added houses on the bank will provide cover for those who risk a longer detour to cross the river. Vegetation now also obstructs the view of enemy vehicles.

Along the embankment

Speaking about more general changes - destroyed vehicles, new cover and dense forests will be added along the railway. For Infantry, advancing will become less challenging, while vehicles will have to maneuver more and adapt to shorter engagement ranges more frequently.

Of course, in this devblog we've only covered the key changes to the location - but soon you'll be able to fully experience the work of our artists on the updated Seelow Heights in battles!
