Testing expanded BR for maps

Commanders, we have decided to expand the list of available maps for low and high BR as a temporary test.

During the test, we will open up the missions of the Battle of Berlin for low Battle Rating (I-II), and the missions of the Battle of Tunisia and the Battle of Moscow for high Battle Rating (IV-V). In short, all missions will be available for all BRs!

We will monitor how these missions will perform in these Battle Ratings in terms of gameplay, as well as your feedback about them. We are looking forward to your comments and suggestions, as it will help us to decide how to proceed after this test.

The test period will last from May 15th (13:00 UTC) to May 22nd (13:00 UTC).

Update 0.6.8.64

  • Fixed the missing Silver for Battle Hero awards and their display on the battle results screen.

End of the North African campaign

Holding North Africa was strategically important for the Axis: blocking the Suez Canal and establishing a foothold in the Mediterranean would have greatly complicated the Allies' logistics.

The battles ended with varying degrees of success: from June 1940 until October 1942, the Allies were unable to seize the initiative. But with the third major offensive, the German and Italian defense line in the El Alamein area was finally breached.

After the bloody battles, the Axis forces were forced to retreat to Tunisia, where shortly afterwards, at Cape Bon, the remaining German and Italian soldiers surrendered on May 13, 1943.
