Rheinmetall's foundation day

From April 11th (13:00 UTC) to April 14th (13:00 UTC), the premium German squad armed with the MG 30 is available for Gold.

135 years ago, on April 13, Heinrich Ehrhardt founded the Rheinische Metallwaaren- und Maschinenfabrik Actiengesellschaft, which later grew into the giant arms manufacturer Rheinmetall.

For most of its history, the company was focused on the development and production of armaments for the German army, and in the interwar and postwar period was famous for the production of typewriters, engines and other civilian products.

The most famous creations of the company that participated in World War II include the MG 13, 15, 30 and 34 machine guns, the 3.7 cm, 5 cm and 7.5 cm anti-tank guns and the giant self-propelled siege mortars known as "Karl-Gerät".

The MG 30 is a product of one of the companies within Rheinmetall. It’s an Austro-German machine gun with a 25-round magazine. It is notable for its convenient sights and comfortable rate of fire: 630 rounds per minute. The Battle Rating of the MG 30 is II and the squad consists of 4 machine gunners in a unique blue-colored uniform. There is also an extra slot for an engineer.

Hurry up and get this unique squad!

Anniversary of the Gewehr 98's adoption

From April 11th (13:00 UTC) to April 17th (13:00 UTC), you can get a rare variant of the Gewehr 98 rifle for completing tasks.

For completing 5 out of the 9 tasks, you will receive one collectible melee weapon for any army of your choice, and for 8 completed tasks, a unique Gewehr 98 Wartime mod for your German army.

In early April 1898, the Imperial German Army adopted and started the mass production of the Gewehr 98 rifle, a bolt-action rifle made by Mauser.

The rifle was baptized in the trenches of World War I, where it proved to be highly accurate and effective. Later, in the harsh conditions of World War II, the rifle also proved its durability and reliability and continued to be in service.

This Mauser rifle (as well as many others before and after the Gewehr 98) proved to be so successful and effective that many of its design solutions are still used in shooting sports, hunting and sniper rifles. The Gewehr 98 has an impressive record: an estimated 100 million rifles have been produced, making it the most mass-produced rifle in history!

Making Enlisted a Better Place №61

Each issue of our weekly series focuses on a certain aspect of the game or a particular mechanic, in which we correct smaller, but noticeable bugs and add new interesting features.

Making life easier for ground vehicles

Tanks are a formidable force on the battlefield. A single HE shell and the capture point is clear! But this comes at a price, their low mobility compared to infantry. On some maps, this made life especially hard for vehicles.

We've improved the placement of ground vehicle spawn points in the following missions: "Gare de Saint-Lo North (Invasion)", "Gare de Saint-Lo (Destruction)", "Power plant North (Invasion)", "Hürtgen Forest (Invasion)", "Werbig station East (Invasion)", "The Maisky Forestry (Invasion)", "Omer North (Invasion)", "Alligator Creek South (Invasion)".

Also, we removed the Czech hedgehogs obstructing the passage of vehicles in the "Wilhelmstrasse (Conquest)" mission.

Customizable kill log

Some of you have noticed that sometimes the kill log takes up too much space on the screen. Of course, it's useful to keep track of the battle through it, but not when it distracts you from the actual battle.

That’s why we've added the ability to resize or even disable the kill log - all for your convenience!

OTHER CHANGES
  • Improved the placement of infantry spawn points in the "Gogol street North (Assault)" mission.
  • Fixed an issue related to the "sticky toggle" button option where in certain cases the player would remain in ADS after changing soldiers.
  • Fixed a bug where you could equip gear on a soldier without having the required upgrade unlocked.
  • Fixed visual artifacts in the tank’s sight when using DLSS or FSR2.
  • Fixed a bug where the player controlled paratrooper would jump out of the airplane early.
  • Added the ability to use the tail gunner's seat of the "neutral" aircrafts placed throughout the Pacific Ocean.
  • Fixed a bug which caused the client to freeze when applying decals to vehicles on certain PC configurations.
WE APPRECIATE YOUR FEEDBACK!

Operation: Breaking Dead is extended!

Commanders, we’ve received a lot of messages requesting that we extend the event against hordes of motivated soldiers. Also, we've recently added a leaderboard to the event and a new prize, the "Horrors of the War" portrait, for those of you in the Top 10% of the leaderboard when the operation ends.

The portrait will be added to the Event UI a little later.
