Making Enlisted a Better Place №61

Each issue of our weekly series focuses on a certain aspect of the game or a particular mechanic, in which we correct smaller, but noticeable bugs and add new interesting features.

Making life easier for ground vehicles

Tanks are a formidable force on the battlefield. A single HE shell and the capture point is clear! But this comes at a price, their low mobility compared to infantry. On some maps, this made life especially hard for vehicles.

We've improved the placement of ground vehicle spawn points in the following missions: "Gare de Saint-Lo North (Invasion)", "Gare de Saint-Lo (Destruction)", "Power plant North (Invasion)", "Hürtgen Forest (Invasion)", "Werbig station East (Invasion)", "The Maisky Forestry (Invasion)", "Omer North (Invasion)", "Alligator Creek South (Invasion)".

Also, we removed the Czech hedgehogs obstructing the passage of vehicles in the "Wilhelmstrasse (Conquest)" mission.

Customizable kill log

Some of you have noticed that sometimes the kill log takes up too much space on the screen. Of course, it's useful to keep track of the battle through it, but not when it distracts you from the actual battle.

That’s why we've added the ability to resize or even disable the kill log - all for your convenience!

OTHER CHANGES
  • Improved the placement of infantry spawn points in the "Gogol street North (Assault)" mission.
  • Fixed an issue related to the "sticky toggle" button option where in certain cases the player would remain in ADS after changing soldiers.
  • Fixed a bug where you could equip gear on a soldier without having the required upgrade unlocked.
  • Fixed visual artifacts in the tank’s sight when using DLSS or FSR2.
  • Fixed a bug where the player controlled paratrooper would jump out of the airplane early.
  • Added the ability to use the tail gunner's seat of the "neutral" aircrafts placed throughout the Pacific Ocean.
  • Fixed a bug which caused the client to freeze when applying decals to vehicles on certain PC configurations.
WE APPRECIATE YOUR FEEDBACK!

Lots of exciting game mechanics have been realized or improved thanks to your ideas. We are watching our communities, other Enlisted sites and regularly check the forum for your feedback and reports.

Operation: Breaking Dead is extended!

Commanders, we’ve received a lot of messages requesting that we extend the event against hordes of motivated soldiers. It seems that even the motivated themselves want to continue the fight, here is an intercepted radio message from one of them: "The#r sc#e#ms #re so satis##ing wh#n I bl#w the#r en##re #eam up wi# my bo#b! Ha ha!".

As you wish.

Operation: Breaking Dead is extended until April 15th (13:00 UTC).

However, the "Testing new elite squads!" event will end on April 8th as we originally announced and we'll analyze your feedback and improve the operation.

Also, we've recently added a leaderboard to the event and a new prize, the "Horrors of the War" portrait, for those of you in the Top 10% of the leaderboard when the operation ends.

The portrait will be added to the Event UI a little later.

Making Enlisted: Breaking Dead a Better Place

In this special edition of "Making Enlisted a Better Place", we’re going to delight you by adding a competitive element to the event that you love and a new reward for the most active commanders against the Motivated!

Leaderboard

We have added a leaderboard to the event! Now you can track the top players based on multiple stats, such as: Motivated kills, Maximum survived waves, and more! Show the world how long you can survive!

New reward portrait: "Horrors of the war"

The most effective commanders of the event definitely deserve to stand out! We’ve prepared a unique portrait for you that reflects the emotions of soldiers who have seen them... the effects of the GSe07 contamination.

It will be awarded to participants who are in the top 10% of Operation "Breaking Dead" based on maximum waves reached.

The portrait will be added to the Event UI a little later.

Also, added a "Play the event" button to the "Testing new elite squads!" event window.

Temporarily available: Motivated Pz.IV J "Battle Scars"

The German High Command made extraordinary efforts to extract this unusual Pz.IV J from the GSe07 fallout zone, and it was even harder to get the over-motivated crew out of it. But now you can take it for a spin too! The tank bears the marks of a dozen battles and is partially coated with red primer, which the Germans used when there was a shortage of paint for camouflage.

The Pz.IV J "Battle Scars" is available for Gold in the Special Offers tab of the shop.

Note: The tank does not come with a squad, to use it you need the German Tanker II squad (33rd Panzer Regiment).

100-player shooter Enlisted: Reinforced halts sales on Steam due to anger over pricing and a bug that 'completely breaks' account linking

Gaijin announced in January that its 100-player WW2 shooter Enlisted would be coming to Steam as Enlisted: Reinforced, an updated version of the standalone game that went into open beta in 2021. The early access Steam release finally happened on March 28—and later that same day, sales were halted due to a mix of technical problems and player dissatisfaction...
