Improving Berlin

Our location artists continue their journey around old maps, creating new pathways, adding more reliable cover and other balance improvements. This time we return to the center of Berlin.

By the way, we’ve already made a few noticeable improvements to it, and this is Round Two.

Road to the Reichstag

Two new pathways have been added to the southern part of the Ministry of the Interior. Previously, attackers only had one path, under the three arches, through which they could attack the Reichstag or the Kroll Opera House from the Ministry. And it could have been easily covered by a tank from the park near the Reichstag. Now it’ll be easier to slip by unnoticed.

We’ve also opened a few previously blocked windows on the northern side.

The Reich Chancellery

Earlier, it was possible to attack Hitler’s office from the east via two corridors, and from the west - only via the marble gallery.

We’ve opened up a nearby corridor that was inaccessible before. This alternative path will help the players diversify their tactics.

We’ve also solved the problem of the easily destroyable covers inside the Reich Chancellery. Some sandbag barricades were replaced by durable filing cabinets that the Germans carried to their positions. Now a single heavy machine gun won’t dominate the entire corridor, and Hitler’s office will be harder to clear out with grenades.

A few other small improvements.

We’ve changed the height of the windows of the brick buildings near the Reichstag and in other parts of Berlin. Now it’s comfortable to fire through these loopholes.

A few changes were made to the civilian houses. We’ve barricaded a few small dead ends to improve navigation in these buildings.

These improvements will be added to the game in one of the upcoming major updates, and we’ll keep collecting statistics and your feedback about our maps in Enlisted.

Lunar New Year

The Lunar New Year, one of Asia's most anticipated and beloved holidays, is coming up. This year it will be celebrated on February 10th. The date is traditionally associated with the completion of a full lunar phase and the “awakening” of nature from winter sleep. The symbol of 2024 is the dragon, symbolizing power and wisdom

The most important tradition of the Lunar New Year for families is considered to be the annual reunion dinner - even relatives from other cities and countries are invited to the celebration, and also, to meet friends and neighbors. Oh, and this holiday is also known for the large-scale parades along the main streets of the cities, with lion and dragon costumes and awesome fireworks.

Let's join the celebration in Enlisted!

From February 8th (13:00 UTC) to February 14th (13:00 UTC) you can get rewards for completing tasks.

Making Enlisted a Better Place №58

Each issue of our weekly series focuses on a certain aspect of the game or a particular mechanic, in which we correct smaller, but noticeable bugs and add new interesting features.

Stretched soldiers and visual artifacts

Much of our upcoming patches and improvements will be centered around the feedback we've received since the game's release announcement on Steam. We hope you will appreciate this approach going forward, and we will continue to listen to your feedback and suggestions.

One of these fixes refers to visual artifacts that could occur on some versions of graphics cards. The problem has been localized and fixed.

Meanwhile, the second fix is related to soldiers whose hands could stick to ladders. This was the cause of the stretched models. We also identified this problem thanks to your bug reports and it should not happen again.

Impact grenades and their radius

Impact grenades have also become one of the frequent topics of discussion. In this update, we've reworked how they work, tweaked their damage and characteristics. Overall, the guaranteed death zone of impact grenades has been significantly reduced. Thank you for your reports and participation in the discussions!

OTHER CHANGES
 • Fixed a bug with the AT-44 event squad’s camouflage that caused it to not appear correctly from afar.
 • The tooltip with the buttons in the pie-menu has been moved to the center of the screen.
 • The squad tied to the gold order Chi-Nu tank has been changed: it can now be used by the Tanker III squad.
 • Fixed a bug that made it impossible to go into battle with the USSR Breda Mod.30 and Thompson M21/28 (box magazine).
 • Added notification when using the minimal client.
 • Adjusted the spawn points in Normandy on the "Airfield" and "Ruins of Vaux" maps.
 • Adjusted the spawn points in the Pacific on the “Guadalcanal” map.
 • Fixed a bug that caused the ringing sound to remain audible when switching between soldiers in a squad.
 • Fixed a bug in the bullet parameters of the Type 99 sniper rifle - the damage reduction over distance of this sniper rifle was more noticeable than its counterparts.
 • Removed the green notification dots from locked soldiers in the Enlist Soldiers menu.
 • Removed the green notification dots from the Perks button if there are not enough points to upgrade anything.
 • Fixed the color of several German camouflage uniforms.
 • Fixed the model of the Italian large grenade pouch.
 • Added missing customization for German and Italian paratroopers.
 • Fixed glove models of British tankers on the Ardennes maps.

Please note: you now have two days to complete each task!

Rewards

You'll get rewards during the whole event, and the further you progress through it, the more valuable they'll become. You can easily skip a few tasks and still get the main rewards!

Main rewards

Mobile rally points with weapons and protection for a whole squad! If not an ultimate instrument of war, then very close to it.
USA
Universal Carrier - a small and lightly armored vehicle, which served as the main "workhorse" of the British army in WWII and was supplied to other allied countries.

It was really universal - reconnaissance, transportation of infantry and supplies, towing anti-tank guns, and even a self-propelled artillery. Good maneuverability, speed up to 48 km/h and excellent off-road capability helped it to cope with any tasks.

This variant is protected from small arms fire, and is equipped with a Bren machine gun on a tripod and a Boys AT rifle in the front of the hull to counter light armored vehicles.

The crew of this little guy consists of four soldiers.
Germany
Sd.Kfz. 251/9 - an easily recognizable half-track APC, one of several variants used extensively by the German Army in WWII.

The main advantage of the Sd.Kfz. 251 is its good protection from small arms, for both the crew and the soldiers in the fighting compartment. While its main disadvantage is the high silhouette, which can not be confused with anything.

This variant is capable of performing the role of both an APC and a formidable self-propelled 75-millimeter gun.

Additionally, the forward mounted MG42 machine gun will help to fight off enemy infantry.

The crew consists of four soldiers - no more can be taken into battle, otherwise there would be no room for the shells.

Terms
 • Squads are issued to specific countries in this event.
 • Tasks are updated every two days at 13:00 UTC, and the scoring starts again. Be sure to collect your reward before then, if you have managed to accumulate the required number of battle points, otherwise the task will not count.
 • The task can be completed in the Squads mode.
 • From 29th February (13:00 UTC) to 2nd March (13:00 UTC), after the end of the event, you will have the opportunity to purchase any missing rewards for Gold.

Reinforcements for Japan's motorized infantry!

A long-awaited addition to Japan's pool of premium vehicles, the Type 1 Ho-Ha APC!

Thanks to the half-track chassis, this APC has excellent off-road capability and a maximum speed of 45 km/h! In addition, this APC is equipped with three Type 97 machine guns, which will allow you to fight off enemy infantry not only from the front, but also from the sides. The crew consists of six specialized soldiers of different classes with appropriate weapons. Like other APCs, the Type 1 Ho-Ha functions as a mobile rally point.
