What are the best Dragon's Dogma 2 mods? It's early days for Dragon's Dogma 2, but the character creator demo released by Capcom weeks before the official launch has already sparked some interest from the modding community. If the other RE Engine games are anything to go by, there's going to be a lot to look forward to over the next few months.

Dragon's Dogma 2 has landed, with all the highs and lows you might expect from Hideaki Itsuno's latest action-RPG. However, for all that the game has plenty of positives as an overall experience, Dragon's Dogma 2 PC performance has been a fairly terrible.
The problem with Dragon's Dogma 2 is two fold. For a start, the game has generally been dogged by stability issues, with regular crashes dumping you out the game. Perhaps even more annoyingly, it has consistently terrible frame rate stability issues - something that particularly plague our experience when writing our Dragon's Dogma 2 review, with large amounts of stutter and frame rate dropping to very low levels, even on very high-end hardware.

Best Dragon's Dogma 2 settings for max fps
What are the best Dragon's Dogma 2 settings for max fps? The run-up to the release of Dragon's Dogma 2 on PC was rough, with rumors of frame rate caps and overinflated system requirements. While this largely turned out to be untrue, the final performance of the ARPG on PC isn't ideal, and mid-range gaming systems will struggle to obtain 60fps without further optimizations.
The Dragon's Dogma 2 system requirements paint the picture of a game that leans more towards the Alan Wake 2 approach to PC gaming, with less optimization for older components, instead focusing on gamers with high-end gaming PCs.
While game updates are very likely, and these should improve the performance of Dragon's Dogma 2 on budget gaming PCs, right now, getting a stable 60fps out of the game is a chore, and it impacts gameplay considerably.
