Beta Branch Patch 10

Silence no longer stops melee attacks or item usage.

Fae Huntsman now is arcane, has arcane resist, and has shields.

Added back guards to protect against Burning Fire enemies, Ghostly Undead enemies, ect.

New spell: Rainstorm. Soaks enemies, lowering lightning and ice resist. Can be upgraded to deal poison damage, heal, or summon water elementals (who also soak enemies, but die if not soaked themselves).

New passive skill: Sonic Shielding. Physical and arcane damage and silence to nearby enemies when an allied shield expires, AM5.

Added shop filters for never victorious spells and skills

New Debuff: Silence. Prevents ability usage, does not prevent movement.

New Monsters:
Breathstealer- a displacer cat that silences on melee attack
Fae Huntsman- shoots silencing arrows
Silent Specter- ghost with silence aura

Orc Pyromancers are now Flame Mouths, are now arcane and immune to arcane damage

Wave of Dread +1 duration -1 max charges
Wave of Dread Upgrades:
Wilting Wave: deals and applies poison
Wave of Tyranny: regain a charge of dominate if 50 damage or more damage dealt
Fear Spirits: summon fearface(s) on kill

Fixed Deathbolt being 1 damage and applying fear, back to 9 damage no fear
Fixed word echo buffs not stacking
Fixed bug where mutated run could have 0 spells
Fixed poison sting barrage upgrade not working properly
Fixed spell scrolls appearing in Oner trial
Fixed healing upgrade for flame burst

Added assets for some new monsters that had placeholder assets

Beta Branch Patch 8

OK time to really get things started again. This patch focuses on a new fear mechanic, and sprinkles in a few more other enemies as well.

New debuff: Fear. Causes the afflicted target to run away from nearest foe, prevents ability usage. Triggers clarity.

New Monsters (art is placeholder, pending testing and feedback on mechanics):

Gremlin: a low level dark demon that shoots bolts which apply fear
Banshee: a mid/high level undead unit with a passive fear aura
Fearface: a powerful cousin of the troubler that also aplies 2 turns of fear.
Orc Pyromancer: has a channeled fire beam

New (Reworked, returning) bosses:

Ole Thunderbones: an ogre mage with lots of hp who summons spark spirits, hurls balls of darkness, has a melee stun attack, and respawns as a lightning shambler.

Slazephan the Philosopher: a snake wizard much like his RW1 incarnation, though now he can summon his own snakes so he no longer has to be incredibly rare. Also gains some resists, some hp, and a powerful single target heal.

Shru the Toad Sorcerer: a Nightmare Toad wizard who stuns and damages anything that damages him. Also has poison nova, teleport, and a long range arcane ranged attack.

(These all count as wizards for the purposes of Summon Wizard)

Living scrolls no longer spawn as normal enemies (aka from lairs)

New Spell:
Wave of Dread- Level 3 Dark Sorcery, deals 22 damage and applies 4 turns of fear in a cone aoe. No upgrades yet.

Beta Branch Patch 7

A small patch to get momentum going again after a long break:

Added new trials:

Limited Spellbook - similar to RW1
Improviser - similar to RW1
Pyromancer - only fire spells
Electromancer - only lightning spells
Necromancer - only dark spells
Phytomancer - only nature spells
Manamancer - only arcane spells
Holymancer - only holy spells
Ferromancer - only metallic spells
Hemomancer - only blood spells
Menagerist - every level is an Exotic Pet level
Oner - max spellbook size of 1 but that 1 spell is free
Mutant Masher - extra variants in each level
Giant Slayer - extra 3x3s in all levels past the 4th
Ogre Mage - cant buy skills and all levels are Ruby Heart levels.

Added random run mode (generates a random trial)
