thank you all for playing the demo and giving us feedback. It's really appreciated and helps us to improve the game.
To give something back and sweeten the time to release (it's not that long anymore, promise!) we' d like to share some concepts, art, insights, etc. with you every now and then.
Let's start with the main cast of the Insurgent case. There were originally a lot more characters planned for this case, but we ended up scrapping them. Not only because it became too much for us developers, but also for the players. When we created the cast of characters, we made sure that they were not only different in appearance, but also in body type. We wanted players to be able to tell them apart as much as possible, even if they were wearing the same uniform. During development, we made a few adjustments here and there. For example, Hermann Kiebitz is now significantly smaller and wears glasses.
Esther Katz has two collegues: Christoph Wollmuth and Simon Peters. While Christoph seems quite relaxed, Simon is rather neat and uptight. This difference in their personalities is something we wanted to show in their character designs as well.
