Welcome to our official 2.5 patch notes, where we will discuss all the changes that will make Box to the Beat VR's launch a better experience for all our players.

[h3]New changes[/h3]

🥊 Glove Calibration

We have heard your feedback and have added the much-requested glove calibration feature to the game so that you can adjust the position of your glove to your needs. This should give you better accuracy overall when completing levels.



🥊 Fine Tuned Glove Rotation

We have adjusted the rotations of the gloves to be more accurate to your real-world hand position by default.

🥊 Song Flow Adjustments

We have run through all songs in Volumes 1 and 2 and slightly adjusted them to provide an even better song flow.

[h3]Bug fixes[/h3]

• Fixed a bug that caused the HP modifiers value to not save on re-opening the game.

• Fixed a bug where having an odd number of songs greater than ten caused the last song to be hidden.

• Fixed a bug that caused the song preview not to play sometimes.

[h3]New changes[/h3]

🥊 Expanded Custom Song Cap

You can now enjoy even more of your favorite tracks in Box To The Beat with the custom song cap increased from 10 to a whopping 100! Box away from any limitations and create your own rules in our game.

🥊 Full Arabic Support

We're excited to announce full Arabic audio and text support! With this new change, even more non-English players will be able to experience our project the way it should be experienced - and we will not stop here!



🥊 Custom Song Algorithm Improvement

We've fine-tuned the custom song algorithm to ensure better flow and more balanced levels. Playing Box to the Beat VR will now feel even more satisfying than before.

🥊 Game Over Sound Effects

We believe that true champions deserve to celebrate their victories accordingly. Sound effects have been implemented within the game over phases.

🥊 Map Previews

Warm-up before the main event! You can now preview the environments when switching between levels.



[h3]Bug fixes[/h3]

• Fixed a bug that caused the announcer's voice to persist after a Game Over during the tutorial.

🥊 Updated network checker for worldwide support

The network checker received much attention to ensure more precise connectivity across the globe. Enjoy a smoother experience!

🥊 HP System Rebalancing

We've fine-tuned the HP System to provide a more balanced and engaging gameplay experience, making every punch count.

🥊 Punch collision detection is now more accurate

Your punches will now be even more precise as we've refined the collision detection system, ensuring that your movements translate flawlessly in-game.

🥊 Internet check is now constant and will warn you when there is no network

The constant internet check will now promptly notify you if your connection is lost during play. This way, players will not lose real-time updates while boxing to their beat.

🥊 Replaced song volume option with slider

We've revamped the audio settings, replacing the song volume option with an intuitive slider for more precise control over the music.

🥊 Added options for hit volume and announcer volume

You will now be able to customize your experience through our available options. Box as loud as you wish or keep it quiet until the main event arrives!

🥊 Rank system adjustments

We understand that players want to improve while playing, and mastering combos can easily add to the fun. The rank system has been fine-tuned to provide a more rewarding progression curve.

🥊 Updated the "New Beginnings" trophy

The "New Beginnings" trophy will now unlock as soon as you start playing a level, marking the start of your Box to the Beat journey.

[h3]Bug fixes[/h3]

• Fixed a bug where you could not pet your dragon in the menu
Interact with your dragon companion now as we've addressed the issue that prevented this delightful interaction.

Gamescom has arrived, and so has Box to the Beat VR!

Great news, everyone, it’s August 23rd, and you know what that means. Today we officially LAUNCH Box to the Beat VR on all of our available platforms!

We are thankful to everyone that has supported us and helped us improve our game to what is has become today. Now it's time to enjoy the fruits of our labor!
