Hey folks, as the year draws to a close, here's a To the Moon-related report on this year and the upcoming one!

But first, here's Johnny and River as fantasy characters from the upcoming Last Hour of an Epic To the Moon RPG hnnnnnng

Now that's out of the way, this year, we:

In 2024:

• Released the To the Moon: Bestest Memories tabletop game!
  
  Thanks to the supportive community, we've managed to finish production and ship out the game. If you missed the campaign, the main games are available at Freebird's BigCartel: https://freebirdgames.bigcartel.com/
  
  There are still kinks we're working out with the logistics for some edge cases, and it was a great challenging and learning experience to work with physical goods at a larger scale. But overall, it's been a great campaign, and we're glad folks are enjoying the game and the collectables.
  
  
  
• Launched the To the Moon Beach Episode on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2159210/
  
  Despite being an unorthodox game of the series, it marked a pivotal point as a part of its conclusion. Thanks to the community for joining us on this journey, and we hope you enjoyed the player messages left on the beach.
  
  P.S. Localizations are still happening, sorry about the hiccups and delay on that! We're expecting to release 4 more localizations in the coming month~
  
  
  
• Major milestone with the To the Moon animated film project: [redacted]
  
  
  
• Collaboration with Serenity Forge
  We've joined force with Doki Doki Literature Club+ & Slay the Princess publisher, Serenity Forge, to bring To the Moon and its holiday specials to Playstation, Xbox, and beyond!
  

In 2025:

• Last Hour of an Epic To the Moon RPG
  
  
  
  This might happen late in the year, but a lot of work has already gone into production. We're hoping for it to act both as an interesting experience in and of itself, and a wrap-up (and wrap-around?) to the To the Moon series, filling in some things that I felt were still missing in the To the Moon Beach Episode to make the series whole.

• Further collaboration with Serenity Forge
  Be it physical goodies (like the upcoming To the Moon beach episode snow globe) or other things, we're hope to continue our collaboration with Serenity Forge to bring the games to more people around the world. They've been a pleasure to work with, and I believe there's more in store from them!

  We've got a few secret projects brewing, and who knows when we might finally show some teasers for them. c:
  

All in all, thank you as always for your support and being a part of the series! It's been a long journey, and even as the current series as it is may be coming to an end soon, the characters themselves will stay in one way or another.

After getting away with it for way too long, the release date is finally set to September 20, 2024!

Languages:
We'll try to bring on all the languages the previous titles had, although as with the previous titles, it would be in the months following initial release.

We will likely do an initial release with English, plus one or two other languages such as the Chinese localization, which will also help ironing out the localization kinks. This will be followed by the other languages around or hopefully before the end of the year. (If you're someone who worked on a previous localization and are interested in this one, feel free to contact me or Andrii. d-(' ' d-))

Playtime:
A normal playtime is approximately 2.5 - 3 hours.

Operating System:
It will be available for all of PC, Mac, & Linux on launch.

And lastly, Serenity Forge has created a memory snow globe of a scene from the beachsode available when the game launches. d-(' ' d-) (I think they'll have a preorder for it open next week too).



The beach episode will serve as one or two endings of sorts(?) to the series (with the other being The Last Hour of an Epic To the Moon RPG coming next year).

Unlike the other titles, playing the other two games in the series is particularly recommended, as it's an all ensemble game with reference to each of the three games.

Been working hard on it for the past few months after the the Bestest Memories campaign, and it's now very very close! Final release date will be announced later this month, and should basically be within a quarter.

Neil has been getting his fan-service beach bod ready for it. . .

There's been some minor issues that have since been caught and fixed, but the overall production quality of the samples feel solid. We're on schedule for wrapping up production to be ready for freight around mid-January, but have gotten word that freight time could be prolonged due to the current geopolitics affecting certain routes. When we get a more accurate estimate, we'll make a post to update.

But either way, with the freight starting mid next month, here's the last chance for those interested in preorder to make it for this batch:
