Tower of Fantasy update 2.2 release date set for December

Hotta Studio has revealed the Tower of Fantasy update 2.2 release date, letting fans of the anime game know when they can play the Mirafleur Moonshade update. The patch will expand further on the cyberpunk city of Mirroria, part of the Tower of Fantasy 2.0 update's Vera region, and brings with it new Tower of Fantasy character, the simulacrum Tian Lang.

Want Tower of Fantasy codes? If you're a fan of popular anime games such as Genshin Impact, you may have already heard of Tower of Fantasy. It ticks all of the same open-world game boxes, with the key difference being that it's set in the future rather than in a fantasy setting. Much like the game that heavily inspired it, Tower of Fantasy has plenty of codes you can use to unlock free stuff.

In addition to the currently available Tower of Fantasy codes, there is a Tower of Fantasy battle pass that you can complete via weekly tasks which unlock merit points. The rewards here are similar to items you can get for redeeming codes, but you can also get freebies by claiming level packs, which are free so long as you spend time progressing through the game. The upcoming Tower of Fantasy banners on the schedule shed some light on which characters are set to make their debut, and which fan favourites are making a welcome return to the gacha system. Hotta Studio's anime game has been out for quite some time in China already, so we have some idea of who we can expect to join the roster of playable simulacra, and how often they rotate.

The best upcoming Tower of Fantasy banners require red nuclei, which are extremely rare in comparison to the other nucleus currencies available. The most reliable way to acquire red nuclei is via the 'HOT' shop. A single Red Nucleus costs 150 Dark Crystals, so be prepared to save up 1,500 Dark Crystals for a ten-stack of Special Orders.

Tower of Fantasy server downtime planned for emergency maintenance

Tower of Fantasy server downtime is on the way, meaning that you won't be able to log into the open-world game for around two hours while emergency maintenance takes place. A Hotta Studio post announces that the Tower of Fantasy servers will be offline for two hours on November 18-19 (depending upon your region) while it addresses a bug causing a broken, potentially infinite combo between new ToF character Saki Fuwa and Samir. As such, you won't be able to level up in Tower of Fantasy during this timeframe.
