Steam NextFest is still a couple of weeks away, but we thought maybe we can make the launch of the next update even stronger with the Community by helping us find any remaining issue or any feedback you may have.

Demo Update 0.1.2 - Hotfix

Listen up, NIMRODS!

We rolled out a small hotfix for NIMRODS that addressed a memory leak that we've discovered.

We are constantly working on improving performance. A lot of the work we've done so far is a big chunk that could potentially break the demo, so we're cherry picking what we can to include it in a fast hotfix to improve the performance in this Demo.

Demo Update 0.1.1 - Hotfix

Listen up, NIMRODS!

We rolled out a small update that addresses a few issues.

As a small team, we've been juggling various aspects of the game, with some team members concentrating on enhancing performance, while others are dedicated to developing future systems that will be introduced in later stages of the game. Stay tuned for more details in the next devlog 😉

Despite NIMRODS appearing deceptively simple, its intricacy lies in the sheer number of bullets that can spawn and the diverse combinations possible (in the millions and more). Such a seemingly straightforward game demands extensive performance adjustments behind the scenes. We've been making significant strides in this area and are committed to ensuring that the game runs seamlessly upon its full release.

While the development process has presented its challenges, we're determined to overcome them and deliver a flawlessly functioning game.

Demo Update 0.1.0 - Bug Fixes & Performance Improvements

Listen up, NIMRODS!

We're back with another batch of fixes and improvements. It's been a blast seeing y'all play and enjoy the Demo! Keep sharing your feedback and build creations 😎

We've primarily focused on implementing numerous fixes to enhance the overall experience. We want to emphasize that the performance improvements made in this update are not final—there's still more work to be done.

  • More Defense Towers and Landmines have been added
  • More Robots have been added to be destroyed for loot

[h3]Changes[/h3]
  • Significant performance improvements have been made across all aspects. This is work-in-progress. Due to the scale of changes, we're delivering performance fixes in chunks during this demo rather than all at once. This approach is taken to avoid potential issues, ensuring that updates to the demo are not delivered with broken features
  • Significantly improved localization and tooltips, including correctly ordering stats on Gun Upgrades for easier readability. The order will now exactly match the stats on the right for easy observation
  • Improved the responsiveness of Landmines and increased the damage they inflict on the player
  • Runner II mission required meters walked has been changed from 5000 to 2000
  • XP Magnets no longer drop from Vines
  • Improved the visuals of the Splitter enemies
  • Improved the visuals of objectives

  • Fixed an issue where certain Minor Upgrades were not displaying numerical values correctly
  • Fixed an issue where the Stockmounted AI reticle wouldn't be removed in the Home Ship when the weapon is unequipped
  • Fixed an issue where Defense Towers could spawn outside the map
  • Fixed an issue where players could get stuck if standing in the center of a Drop Zone capture point
  • Fixed an issue where the Containment Field bubble would disappear when a new Gun Upgrade is applied
  • Fixed an issue where the unavailable Premium Grip upgrade was visible in the Upgrade Tree
  • Fixed an issue where the Sucker Grip and Hemolytic Magazine were not displaying health values
  • Fixed an issue where the Explosive Magazine 'Explode' tooltip did not display any value
  • Fixed an issue where the Eyeball Charm Upgrade Tree was not displaying correctly
  • Fixed an issue where the scrollbar was barely visible in the Mission UI
  • Fixed an issue where the player could go outside the map
  • Fixed an issue where quest indicators could appear incorrectly
  • Fixed an issue where the Movement Recharge Rate stat would not appear in green on the Chevron Charm upgrade
  • Fixed an issue where an incorrect Armor value was being displayed for the Splitting Magazine upgrade
  • Fixed an issue where Bullet Spread on the Helix Barrel upgrade would incorrectly appear as red
  • Fixed many many crashes and errors

Demo Update 0.0.9 - Bug Fixes & Screenshake Toggle

Listen up, NIMRODS!

To start off, we would like to thank everyone who has played the Demo and has shared and created awesome content for our game. We are so pleased to see and hear that you've been enjoying the game so far.

In today's update we're addressing several issues and we've added the option to disable Screenshake in the settings menu.

- A lot of Tooltips has been rewritten to improve readability based upon feedback

Fixes
- Fixed an issue with multiplicative stacking for several Gun Upgrades
- Fixed an issue where certain Gun Upgrades did not decrease Bullet Spread correctly
- Fixed an issue where the Beehive would not take any damage when shot from certain angles
- Fixed an issue where the Feedback URL on the Pause Menu was incorrect
- Fixed an issue where the radius and trigger of the Landmine was too short
- Fixed an issue where the Airdrop impact texture was blurry
- Fixed an issue where the Damage Output number in the Shooting Range was positioned incorrectly
- Fixed an issue where the NIMRODS Logo was colliding with the divider in the Credits menu
- Fixed several issues related to hovering on Gun Upgrades and Tooltips
- Fixed several issues with the Drone Upgrade toast notification
- Various localization fixes and improvements
