New Horde Mode Coming Soon

Checkout this new Horde Mode I was working on past few weeks. It'll be released soon as Beta and I plan to release several maps in this Mode after your initial feedback.

Performance Improvement Update

Hey everyone,

The game had high CPU usage issues when a large number of zombies present in the game. With this update NPCs are optimized based on the current frame rate. Also, I have added a new Graphic setting called NPC Animation Quality, which controls the level of optimization.

Now the game performs better overall and CPU bottlenecking is minimum.

Further, optimizations will be introduced soon with the upcoming Unreal Engine 5.3 upgrade.

New Update Details

Update Details:

- Improved Ladder Climbing.
- Improved Physics Object interactions.
- Improvements to Mission 1.
- Fixed a bug where some enemies having low Frame Rate animations.
- Window and other glass breaking interactions added. This feature is only added to mission 1 and will eventually be added to rest of the missions.

Aftertime - DLSS 3 Update is Here

Hey Everyone,

Aftertime - DLSS 3 Update is Here. With this update the game is upgraded to Unreal Engine 5.2 as well.

Watch the video for performance enhancements with DLSS 3.

Also, I have added highly detailed realistic 3D explosion effects to the asteroid cutscene in the first mission. We will be creating brand new 3D simulated fire and explosion effects for the game soon.

New Update Details

Hey everyone,

Hope you are doing well. After considering your feedback, I have finally decided to make the game automatically save weapons, ammo and med kits at each checkpoint. So, the player will carry all the items he picked up into the next mission and also when retrying a mission after death.

However, since this could make the game less challenging, I decided to limit the amount of ammo the player can carry to 200, max number of Med kits and Grenades to 10. Unfortunately, the previous save file is not compatible with the new one and therefore, your progress will be lost.

Further, with this update I have added 3 difficulty levels to the game, which you can change at any point of the champaign. I will experiment on the system further and also get your feedback and keep improving this system.

Finally, I have optimized the waterfall in Mission 9 greatly. Now it runs very smoothly and no CPU bottlenecks happen even at highest settings. I will be adding more of these kind of simulations to the game in the future.
