[/p][p][/p][p]A select group of journalists and content creators experienced Cronos for the very first time in the midst of Kraków’s iconic Nowa Huta district, the real-life inspiration for our game’s New Dawn.  [/p][p] [/p][p][/p][p]📍 Ground Zero: The Steelworks [/p][p]This was no ordinary venue. Nowa Huta’s stark, brutalist legacy shapes both the game’s visuals and its emotional core - a setting that perfectly echoes New Dawn’s fractured future. [/p][p] [/p][p]During the session, participants dove into an exclusive, fully playable slice of the game, featuring: [/p][p] [/p][p]🧠 Real-time survival combat against the Orphans 
🔁 The unique Merge mechanic that makes every encounter feel unpredictable 
🎮 A look into the game’s inventory and progression systems

Game Con Canada Debuts Its First Studio Showcase With Devolver, Bloober Team, and More


Taking a sneak peek at upcoming projects, Game Con Canada held its first GCC Studio Showcase featuring Devolver Digital, Bloober Team, and more.





Returning for its third year, Game Con Canada runs from June 13 to 15, providing a place for gamers to enjoy video and board games, cosplay, attend workshops, and meet special guests. On the expo’s first day, with CGMagazine’s Dayna Eileen as part of the panel, Game Con Canada hosted its first annual GCC Studio Showcase, offering an exclusive sneak peek and highlights of titles from Focus Entertainment, tinyBuild, Devolver Digital, and Bloober Team.

Cronos: The New Dawn Brings Bloober’s Darkest Vision Yet to Game Con Canada


Game Con Canada is marking a milestone this year by hosting its first-ever studio showcase, and fittingly, Cronos: The New Dawn will be stepping into that spotlight. For Bloober Team, known for exploring the psychological edges of horror, this won’t be just another demo reel. It will be a chance to introduce something riskier and more ambitious to a brand-new audience.





We spoke with Game Director at Bloober Team, Jacek Zieba, about what it means to debut Cronos in front of Canadian fans, how the project evolved from two competing ideas into a tightly wound descent into post-apocalyptic dread, and why 1980s Poland.
