Feb. 7 [Patch Notes]

Hello everyone, regarding the card adjustments made yesterday, some of the intended changes were accidentally omitted. Therefore, we have implemented additional adjustments today.

1. The adjustments to the cards are not meant to restrict the use of certain strategies or to encourage players to adopt a fixed strategy. Instead, they aim to:
- Ensure that all strategies have value, rather than making one strategy the only viable option.
- Prevent any single card from being overwhelmingly powerful and mindlessly included in any deck.
- Reduce the repetition of the same action during a single persuasion attempt.

2. For the currently popular card-drawing strategy, there are two main adjustments (one was implemented in yesterday's update, and the other was omitted and has been added today):
- Weakened [Positive Thinking], reducing its individual card value while keeping the number of cards drawn unchanged, ensuring it doesn't affect the initiation and potential of the card-drawing strategy.
- Enhanced [Pie in the Sky], significantly improving the initiation speed and potential of the card-drawing strategy.

3. For non-card-drawing strategies that use [Positive Thinking] solely as a means to draw cards:
- Due to the correction of the [Drunkenness] buff (its effect has been doubled), it actually yields higher benefits than before the adjustment. Additionally, we have collected a lot of feedback from players regarding issues such as high repetition in mid-to-late game card play. In a major update within February, the skill of the helper [Auntie Wang] will be revamped. After unlocking [Auntie Wang], the maximum membership fee obtained from inviting ordinary members will be recorded. Subsequently, when encountering ordinary members with the same condition card, the persuasion process can be skipped, and the recorded maximum membership fee can be obtained directly.
- Example: If you previously encountered an ordinary member with the [Stingy] condition and obtained 30,000 in membership fees, the next time you encounter an ordinary member with the same [Stingy] condition, you can "choose" to invite them directly and receive 30,000 in membership fees (the final value will account for current bonuses). Alternatively, you can "choose" to challenge again to refresh the previously recorded maximum fee.

4. **Card Adjustments:**
- [Pie in the Sky]
After adjustment: Increases membership fees by 60, then increases by 30 for each card drawn.
Before adjustment: Increases membership fees by 60, then increases by 20 for each card drawn.
- [Improvise]
Patience cost adjusted to 1 (previously 0).
After adjustment: Choose to add 1 Communication or Bargaining card to your hand and reduce its patience cost to 0.

- [Strategic Planning]
After adjustment: When successfully replacing a card, draw 1 card for each successful replacement (deactivates after 5 triggers).

5. **Persuasion State Adjustments:**
The maximum stackable buff effect layers have been adjusted to 99 (previously 50).

6. **Skill Effect Adjustments:**
- The skill effect of [Discover Treasure] at level 1 has been adjusted to increase Luck by 15 (previously 7).
- The skill effect of [Discover Treasure] at level 2 has been adjusted to increase Luck by 35 (previously 21).

7. **Fixes:**
- Fixed an issue where different system languages and time zones could cause the game to freeze.
- Fixed discrepancies between skill effect descriptions and actual effects.
- Fixed an issue where Nicole's storyline quest might not unlock CG correctly under certain circumstances (after the fix, even if the quest was already completed, reloading the save will directly unlock the corresponding CG).

  • New Effect: Increases willingness by 6 points. Each reconsideration increases willingness by 3 points.
  • Previous Effect: Increases willingness by 6 points. Each reconsideration increases willingness by 2 points.

2. "Negotiation"
  • New Effect: Randomly increases membership fee by 120 to 200 points.
  • Previous Effect: Randomly increases membership fee by 100 to 180 points.

3. "Inspiration"
  • New Effect: Increases membership fee by 80 points. Triggers tranquility if this is the last card in hand.
  • Previous Effect: Increases membership fee by 60 points. Triggers tranquility if this is the last card in hand.

4. "Emphasize Again"
  • New Effect: Increases membership fee by 120 points.
  • Previous Effect: Increases membership fee by 100 points.

5. "Positive Thinking"
  • New Effect: Reduces membership fee by 60 points. Draw 2 cards.
  • Previous Effect: Reduces membership fee by 20 points. Draw 2 cards.

6. "Show Muscles"
  • New Effect: Increases willingness by x points (value equals 30% of stamina, max 24 points).
  • Previous Effect: Increases willingness by x points (value equals 20% of stamina, max 20 points).

7. "Plant Clues"
  • New Effect: Increases willingness by 4 points. Opponent gains 1 layer of Clue status.
  • Previous Effect: Increases willingness by 4 points. Opponent gains Clue status (effects stackable).

8. "Hunger Marketing"
  • New Effect: Increases membership fee by x points (value equals 250% of courage, max 200 points).
  • Previous Effect: Increases membership fee by x points (value equals 200% of courage, max 200 points).

9. "Strategize"
  • New Effect: Draw 1 card when successfully replacing a card (deactivates after 5 triggers).
  • Previous Effect: Draw 1 card when successfully replacing a card (deactivates after 4 triggers).

10. "Quick Thinking"
  • Patience Cost Adjusted to 3 points (previously 2 points).
  • New Effect: Retain. Draw x cards (1 additional card for every 20 points of wisdom, max 5 cards).
  • Previous Effect: Retain. Draw x cards (1 additional card for every 25 points of wisdom, max 5 cards).

11. "Lead by Example"
  • Patience Cost Adjusted to 1 point (previously 2 points).

12. "Self-Penalty Three Cups"
  • Patience Cost Adjusted to 2 points (previously 3 points).
  • New Effect: Adds 1 "Drink Heavily" card to hand. Adds an additional card if charm is greater than 80.
  • Previous Effect: Adds 1 "Drink Heavily" card to hand. Adds an additional card if charm is greater than 100.

13. "Reverse Thinking"
  • Patience Cost Adjusted to 1 point (previously 0 points).

【Persuasion Status Adjustments】
1. "Drunk"
  • New Effect: Cards that increase membership fee have their effects increased by 100%.
  • Previous Effect: Cards that increase membership fee have their effects increased by 50%.

2. "Clue"
  • New Effect: When shuffling, each layer increases willingness by 6 points (reduces 3 layers after effect triggers).
  • Previous Effect: Next shuffle increases willingness by 6 points.


【Fishing Adjustments】
  • Slightly increased the escape time for all fish.
  • Reduced the reeling time for some fish.
  • Increased the selling price of all adult fish.
  • Increased the probability of encountering fish of corresponding quality when using bait.
  • Reduced the probability of encountering common fish during the flood season.
