Roman Empire Wod#1 (V0.11.0)

To those who are about to play, we salute you!

We recently completed our Wrath of Devs expansion Kickstarter campaign, and today we're excited to deliver our first content.


This update includes a new “Roman Empire” pack, new dice, Bloodlines theme 3d tokens and user custom billboards and a complete new Quest “The Mines of Velta” (5e Compatible).
Monday we'll begin sending out keys for the WoD DLC to our amazing Kick starters supporters.

But that's not all, after receiving substantial community feedback regarding scaling in RPGs, we decided to rebalance the scale of everything. From now on, our base tile will represent 5 feet, making it easier to design narrow dungeons and improving overall balance. To ensure a smooth transition, older and ongoing projects will not be affected by this change.
Only new projects will use the new scaling. If you wish to manually override the scaling in your project, you can find a toggle switch in the project info window under the file menu.

QoL Improvement And More Update! (V0.10.0)

[h3]How have you been? [/h3]
Here at Brave Alice, we've been deep in the refactoring mines, focusing on improving RPGS and making it better.



We've tackled many quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes, but the highlight of this update is a rework on the visual quality of the app. We weren't satisfied with our current presentation and weather system, so we recently decided to improve it. One thing led to another, and we ended up replacing the entire system.While we initially planned this update to mark our V1 release, with these new additions we’ve decided to continue refining RPGS further.

With that said we are excited to focus on our next priority which is to start delivering The Wrath of Devs Expansion to our wonderful backers starting with the KitBash packs, billboard add-ons, and new dice sets.

New Sky and Weather system :
Our refined system not only looks gorgeous but it also supports sky boxes giving us a lot of creative options. We've removed weather types like pollen and leaves and added them as separate particles in VFX Layer so you can localise and combine them and we also added 3 new customisation options :
  • Weather
  • Types of Sky (like regular, alien, etc.)
  • Aurora

  • Add 5x5ft floors of all types

  • Move the Camera Up and Down with Ctrl + Q , E
  • Working Level now get stored in each environment
  • You can search the whole RPGS collection library

  • Collection Custom Tags search are now saved in the project
  • Improved All Thumbnails

  • Added new Quality Setting Ultra
  • All Quality settings have been re balanced.

Ruler Improvements:
  • Permanent Rulers are now saved in project
  • Permanent Rulers are now sync in Multiplayer
  • Can now be individually deleted
  • Rules use player colour.

Grid Improvements:
  • Fix bug where diff quality setting did not show the Grid
  • Grid is now Sync in Multiplayer

Journal improvements:
  • Fixed issues where long notes did not scroll to top
  • Selection of journal tab is now highlighted

Fixes:
  • Fixed bug in Mass placement where undo did not work properly
  • Fixed bug in mass placement window did not load properly
  • Fixed weird issue where duplicated group with a character was braking the object properties window
  • Fixed issue where sometimes the workshop link did not work.
  • Fixed issue with fow where you could see through it
  • Fixed issue where notes created in other level did not work properly
  • Fixed issue in settings where resolution appeared twice if you have more than one screen
  • Fixed various visual bugs





Multi Level Building and Doors Completed! (V0.9.0)

Hello Everyone,

We're thrilled to announce that our latest update is now available on Steam!

[h2]Multi-Level Building[/h2]
The community requested feature is here!
You can now build on different levels of your world, taking your creations to new heights—literally. Use the level tools on the left sidebar to choose the level you want to build on. All tile-based layers will automatically adjust to the selected level, and the ground collision will rise accordingly, making it easier to build complex structures at various heights.

[h2]Doors[/h2]
We've finally completed the door feature! After much work, we found a solution to cut through walls. Hurra! We've also added a UI icon, allowing you to open doors directly from the simple selection tool.

[h2]Other Updates[/h2]
  • Scalable UI: You can now adjust the UI size.
  • Reset Settings: Easily reset all settings to default.
  • Improved 2D Token Height: Enhanced internal height for 2D tokens.
  • Duplication Fix: Fixed the issue causing multiple duplications.
  • Corrected LUT visible state when changing Environments.
  • Various smaller bugs have been fixed for a smoother experience.
