2024/03/28 0.8.07 Version Hot Fixes

- Fixed a bug where Wraith Elephant could die from a spike located outside of a room
- Fixed a bug where striking a row in a slot machine doesn't activate the arena right away
- Fixed a bug where players could get stuck in the moving hazard at the end of 9-1 and could survive it
- Added more enemies on 9-1 Reaper
- Adjusted the scoring to be more lenient on 9-2 Reaper

2024/03/25 0.8.06 Version Hot Fixes

  • Fixed some typos, and reworded some dialogue sentences.
  • You can now destroy the tail of Gigamauler and give them a small knockback.
  • Fixed a bug where the tip for the boss of 9-2 showed the boss of 8-3 instead.

[Added contents]

  • First Half of Act 3 (5 stages)
  • 9 new mob enemies compared to the 0.7 version
  • 3 new bosses
  • 6 new necklace pieces
  • 2 new ranged skills


[Changes for the base game]

  • Fungilak can be intercepted and staggered when they charge upward to stick to the ceiling. Also the anti-air attack's hitboxes are adjusted.
  • Cackleton is visually updated.
  • You can see your damage number when you are fighting training dummies in the training room.
  • Wraith Elephant's spikes now spin.
  • Horrendous Beast's attack speed is slightly reduced.
  • Rewrote some dialogues to make the protagonist more....... German.

[Bug fixes]

  • Fixed a bug where Cyclone Blades can bounce off weirdly if they collide at corners.
  • Fixed a bug where healing orbs healed the player more than they should.
  • Before this patch, Descending Falcon necklace gave you LESS damage bonus compared to when you are not even equipping it, thanks to my god-given cursed programming skill. This issue is fixed.


[NOTES]

  • Currently the boss rush mode doesn't include the new boss lineups because act 3 bosses are planned to be added in a bunch.

  • If you haven't tried the game again on higher difficulties, or lost the muscle memories while waiting for the update, I highly recommend playing it on the later levels of Act 2 first, as Act 3's difficulty curve won't give a break for returning players, and the story is continuous from the end of Act 2. (it could work as a recap)

  • Some cutscene images are unfinished.

  • New OSTs will be updated in the album within a week or two.

0.7.18 Version Update

[Control]
  • Rush and Tumbling are implemented. Hold the dash button on the ground to move faster. Jumping during the rush animation can make you do the tumbling.


[New Feature]
  • You can see your spent time, score, highest combo number, and fail counts on the pause menu.


[Balancing]
  • Nerfed Elephant Wraith's health (550 -> 520)
  • Adjusted the damage of some reflected projectiles.
  • Limited the fall speed


[Bug Fix]
  • Fixed a bug where your pull attack maintains the flying V momentum
  • Upon death you can't press the pause menu to reset (to prevent the death-pause bug)
