2024-12-08 1.0.3 version hotfix

- Added a bandaid solution to prevent "Fundamentals" achievement triggering without beating every stage. I still have no idea why this happens.
- Changed the ending cutscene + credit sequence song with the fully mastered OST.

First hot fix after the official launch because I'm stupid

  • Fixed a bug where your necklace set didn't load after the autosave for some god-forsaken reason
  • Fixed a bugged out final boss pattern
  • Fixed a bug where a certain boss dies instantly during a boss rush

Magenta Horizon - Neverending Harvest is OUT

After 4 and half years of a teeth-grinding journey of solo-development, Magenta Horizon has become a complete work.
Here's a list of contents of this final form.


  • About 15-20 hours to finish on your first play through of Wraith(default) difficulty.
  • Character can use all the different techniques from the start, so depending on the player's knowledge, it can be vastly shortened.
  • More play times will be driven from mastering the combat and getting the better scores.



  • Total Three Acts.
  • 6 Linear combat-oriented stages
  • 13 Non-linear exploration+combat stages
  • 11 Main-line boss-specific stages
  • 3 Hidden boss stages



  • Total 65 Enemies in the Codex
  • Total 19 Bosses, with two remixed re-fights and three hidden ones
  • Total 46 normal chess pieces and two of them are minor version of some of the main bosses
  • All the bosses and about half of the chess pieces get additional patterns or different AI flow on Reaper(+) difficulties



  • Total 51 Steam Achievements on launch



  • Total 1 Melee Weapons, 10 Ranged Skills
  • Hard to calculate the exact moveset number because of the web-like combo structure, but about 50+ melee movement branches can be weaved with just one weapon combat system
    8 Ranged Skills can interact each other and create about 10+ different unique combinations



  • Total 28 Necklace Pieces
  • 17 can be found from explorations and beating the challenge rooms
  • 10 can be purchased from the in-game store
  • Only one of them can be obtained by completing a certain side mission



  • Boss Rush (Fully unlocks after finding all the bosses)
  • Horde Mode (Opened from the start)



  • Controller rumbling
  • 4 localization supports. English, Korean, Portuguese (BR), and Russian.
  • Better tutorial segment
  • Much better-written dialogues

Small delay on the official release announcement

Due to the following reasons, the announcement for the 1.0 version is slightly delayed.
- irl happening (if you saw the news, you would know what is happening in Korea)
- need to prepare the fully localized store page
- need to prepare the full soundtrack
- need to prepare the new demo build

2024/10/31 Halloween content update + bug fixes.

Happy Halloween, reapers! Here are some patch notes.
  • A boss stage 10-3 is added. Just to give a closure to stage 10 before the final release.
  • Added the body part destruction mechanic to the boss in 7-2.
  • Lower the number of spewing goo pools in the boss room in 7-2 below Reaper difficulty.
  • Fixed a bug where Harvest of Focus didn't do a shit. ....Yes, you heard that right. Harvest of Focus hasn't been working for the whole development time. Instead, the focus gain was activated by Harvest of Life. It really shows my developer skill.
  • From now on maintaining over S rank makes you charge up all the focus meters automatically (on every difficulty). Nesting Focus enhances that effect.
  • Enhanced the Dread Vines HP threshold to match the critical health indicator. (30% of the normal health is where the indicator starts blinking)
