[/p]
▢Senzan Line DLC
[p][/p][p] *The screen is under development and the contents may change from the time of release. [/p][p][/p]
Points of Appeal
[p][/p]
・The E721 Series can be operated in the "JR EAST Train Simulator" for the first time!

・In addition to the voice and voice of the active crew member pointing and calling out, an automated broadcast is also implemented.(in charge of Yamagata Unification Center)!

・The landscape changes from residential areas to suburban and mountainous areas!
[p]※6/20:Added description of automatic broadcasting.[/p][p][/p]
About the Route
[p]The Senzan Line is a 58.0 km long line connecting Sendai Station in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture and Uzen Chitose Station in Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture. The line was named “Senzan Line” after the initials of the two cities, as it connects Sendai and Yamagata. At Uzen Chitose Station, the line connects to the Ōu Main Line, and trains on the Senzan Line also run directly to Yamagata Station. It is also known as the first AC electrified railroad line in Japan.[/p][p]In addition to trains connecting Sendai Station and Yamagata Station, there are also many section trains that run from Sendai Station to Ayashi Station and Sakunami Station. There is also a rapid train that stops only at major stations from Ayashi Station to Yamagata Station.[/p][p]After leaving Sendai Station, trains run through a residential area for a while, passing through Kitasendai Station with its many condominiums and Tohoku Fukushi Daigaku Mae Station, which is frequented by students, before heading to Ayashi Station, one of the main stations on the line. After leaving Ayashi Station, the train enters the mountainous area near Sakunami Station, famous for Sakunami Hot Springs and the “Cradle of Exchange Electrification” monument, and heads for Uzen Chitose Station via Yamadera Station, which attracts many tourists. In the mountainous area, there are many tunnels, railway bridges, and curves, and you can feel the ruggedness of the Ōu Mountains.[/p][p]From Uzen Chitose Station, the train transfers to the Ōu Main Line, running parallel to the Yamagata Shinkansen, which has tracks of different widths, and arrives at its final destination, Yamagata Station.[/p][p]We hope you will enjoy the scenery as it transitions from residential areas to the suburbs and mountains.

Next route to be distributed

[p]Thank you for playing JR EAST Train Simulator![/p][p][/p][p]We hope you are all enjoying the Joban Line DLC major update that was implemented on May 27th, which randomized the signal indications.[/p][p][/p][p]We have received many comments about the Joban Line DLC, such as “I'm glad to be able to drive the Special Rapid” and “The sound of the motor has become more realistic! and “I can drive with a greater sense of urgency than before! The production team is encouraged by all of the positive feedback and candid reviews.[/p][p]Thank you again for the many reviews and supportive comments.[/p][p][/p]
Now, I hope you all got the hint about the next distribution route that I gave in the last announcement.

Let's try to answer what the DLC that “the route with the nice red railway bridge” represents was!
[p][/p][p]・[/p][p][/p][p]・[/p][p][/p][p]・[/p][p][/p]
The meaning of the “red iron bridge” was the “Daini-Hirosegawa Bridge” between Rikuzen-Shirasawa and Kumagane Stations. The Daini-Hirosegawa Bridge, also known as the Kumagane Railroad Bridge, creates a beautiful scene with its red iron bridge and the valley of the Hirose River. Speaking of the Second Hirose River Bridge, you already know what I mean, don't you?
[p][/p]
The meaning of “Routes that cannot be ridden through in one train” was “a line that has both electrified and non-electrified sections within a single line, with separate operations.
You all already know what I mean when I say “Routes where operations are divided between electrified and non-electrified sections” vehicles, don't you?
[p][/p]
So, the next DLC will be "Senzan Line"
[p][/p]
  • [p] Route: Senzan Line[/p]
  • [p] Section: Down Sendai Station ⇒ Yamagata Station (62.8km)[/p]
  • [p] Series E721-1000 (4-car and 6-car trains)[/p]
  • [p] Release date: Scheduled for Tuesday, June 24, 2025[/p]
  • [p] Sales price: 3,480 yen[/p]

5/27 (Tue) Update Notice
Thank you for playing JR EAST Train Simulator.

It took about one year from conception to implementation!
Today, Tuesday, May 27, we implemented a randomization of signal indications on 16 of the existing distribution routes!
Signal Indications Change for the Same Driving!?
For more information on signal indications, please check out the following!
【Until now】
The timing of the signal change by the preceding train was controlled based on pre-created data. However, because the signal present is always fixed, the timing of the signal change is the same no matter how many times you drive, and once you learn it, it has become uninteresting.
This time, we have added randomness to these changes, making driving more realistic by changing the timing each time the player drives.
【This update】
Because the delay of the preceding train is now a random event, the signal indications will change every time the same train runs on the same timetable (Due to randomness, delays may not occur)。
This allows players to enjoy different operating conditions for each play, even on the same schedule.
Note that the same signal will not be displayed each time the train is operated in the delayed setting section, and it is not possible to redo the operation. Even if you select a station again from the pause menu during operation, a new signal opening time will be set.
【Points of Attention】
• The target section is randomly determined in addition to the number of seconds of delay.Because even if the number of seconds of delay of the preceding train is shifted by a certain value, it can be easily exploited if the amount of shift is known.
    • Although it may be delayed excepting of time check station, the train is set to arrive on time at the time check station.
    • Sometimes the departure signal is a stop signal until just before departure time.
    • It is more important than ever to drive according to the schedule. Since stop signals are also likely to occur, please be careful not to drive too fast. If the security system brakes due to stop signals, etc, there will be a significant delay and the train may not arrive on time.

Signal indications change even under the same timetable and operating conditions!
【Target Routes】
• Keihin-Tōhoku・Negishi Line
    • Tōkaidō Line
    • Chuō Line Rapid Service
    • Saikyō Line・Kawagoe Line
    • Senseki Kine
    • Keiyō Line
    • Yamanote Line
    • Jōban Line
    • Nambu Line
    • Tsurumi Line
    • Sōbu rapid Line
    • Takasaki Line
    • Utsunomiya Line
    • Yokosuka Line
    • Ōme Line
    • Tōkaidō Freight Line
【Major highlights of the route】
• Keihin-Tōhoku・Negishi Line:
From Minami-Urawa,The train will catch up with the preceding train , increasing the number of times it approaches the pattern. This will be a test of your skill in braking without compromising riding comfort.
    • Chuō Line Rapid Service:
The 602H Commuter Special Rapid was originally jammed by the train ahead, but it has more frequent deceleration, caution, warning, and stop signals. More careful speed control is required by anticipating the train ahead.
    • Senseki Line:
The train ahead may be delayed to a degree not seen in the normal schedule, and the ATACS feature may cause the train to stop near the train ahead.
    • Saikyō Line・Kawagoe Line:
It is set up up to Ōmiya. It often catches up with the preceding train between Ōsaki and Ikebukuro.
    • Keiyō Line:
The player must avoid hitting the pattern as he/she will receive a caution or stop signal before Tōkyō Station.
    • Nambu Line・Tsurumi Line:
Because of the short interval between closing signals, the train is operated by watching and anticipating the signal ahead. Since the opening time of departure signals is not displayed at non-time check stations, player may have to wait a long time for the signal to open.
    • Utsunomiya Line:
The 3520M Rapid "RABBIT" is preceded by the "CASSIOPEIA" Sleeping Limited Express between Kuroiso and Utsunomiya and the "HOKUTOSEI" Sleeping Limited Express between Utsunomiya and Koganei, and may approach these trains. (Both are now out of operation)
You can driving between the discontinued Sleeping Limited Express.
    • Yokosuka Line:
More often than not, you will be forced to stop before Musashi-Kosugi Station.
    • Ōme Line:
The train is almost jammed with trains ahead of it and cannot go very fast. Please adjust your braking to arrive at the time check station on time.
    • Tōkaidō Freight Line:
A change in signal indications can be seen from the Tsurumi to Musashi-Kosugi area.

    【Comments from the Development Team】
How much can be returned to regular time in the event of a delay? In other words, while there is not enough time to spare, please try to operate and carry out successfully the same schedule repeatedly so that the train can return on time by the terminal station while meeting speed limits, etc., and taking ride comfort into consideration!

This is an all-out update that the simulator production team has worked together to implement!
It is more challenging than ever, so please take this opportunity to purchase it!
And we also have an announcement today about the Jōban Line DLC upgrade, so please take a look at that as well!
