About the Route
The Ōme Line is a 37.2 km long line connecting Tachikawa Station in Tachikawa City, Tōkyō, and Okutama Station in Okutama-town, Nishitama-county, Tōkyō. The line runs through residential areas from Tachikawa Station to Ōme Station, but from Ōme Station onward it runs along the Tama River through the mountains. The area between Ōme Station and Okutama Station is known as the Adventure Line, and although it is in Tōkyō, it is an area where visitors can enjoy abundant nature and activities right after getting off the station.
The “Holiday Rapid Okutama” train used to run directly from Shinjuku Station to Okutama Station on holidays, but the train line is now separated at Ōme Station, and the “Holiday Rapid Okutama” between Ōme and Okutama Stations is operated as a temporary train.
After leaving Tachikawa Station, the train runs through a residential area until it reaches Ōme Station. On the way, the train passes through Nishi-Tachikawa Station, the nearest station to the Shōwa Kinen Park and Haijima Station, a major transportation hub. There are many trains to Ōme Station, and the line is double-tracked up to the Higashi- Ōme Station area.
After leaving Ōme Station, trains travel along the valley along the Tama River to Okutama Station. The scenery is very different from the scenery up to Ōme Station, with a single-track line and lush greenery of trees and mountains.
The Okutama area is also home to a number of tourist attractions such as canoeing and ranching, and the entire Okutama line has been converted into a hotel, called the “Along railway line marugoto Hotel” .
We hope you will enjoy the Ōme Line, which has two distinctive features a double track running through a residential area and a single track running through the mountains.

We are encouraged by all of these positive comments and your candid reviews.
Thank you again for the many reviews and supportive comments.
Now, I hope you all got the hint about the next distribution route that I gave in the last YouTube live-stream.(1:36:30~)

Let's try to answer the question, what was the line represented by “a line that runs along part of an abandoned rail line.”

The meaning represented by “a line running along part of an abandoned railway line” was “the former Itsukaichi Railway line between Tachikawa and Musashi-Uenohara,” which is the “Ome Short Line” on which down trains run directly from the Chuo Line rapid Service.

So, the next DLC will be "Ome Line"

• Route: Ome Line
  • Section: Outbound Tachikawa Station ⇒ Okutama Station (37.2km)
  • Model: Series E233-0 (4-car, 6-car, 10-car)

  • International sales price: US$29.99

The Ome Line is a 37.2 km long line connecting Tachikawa Station in Tachikawa City, Tokyo, and Okutama Station in Okutama-cho, Nishitama-gun, Tokyo.
In the past, the “Holiday Rapid Okutama” special rapid train used to run directly from Shinjuku Station to Okutama Station on weekends and holidays, but now regular trains run only to Ome Station, and seasonal trains are operated between Ome and Okutama Stations.
The train runs through a residential area until Ome Station. The train runs through Nishi-Tachikawa Station, which is the closest station to the Showa Kinen Park, and Haijima Station, which is a major transportation hub. There are many trains to Ome Station, and the line is double-tracked until near Higashi Ome Station.
After leaving Ome Station, the scenery is green with trees and mountains. This section of the line is nicknamed the “Tokyo Adventure Line,” and trains with special wrapping are in operation. The line runs along the valley of the Tama River via Hinatawada Station, which is the closest station to Yoshino Plum District, and Ontake Station, which is the gateway to Mt. Ontake.
Please enjoy the Ome Line, which has two distinctive features: a double track running through a residential area and a single track running through the mountains.

We are working hard on the production so that we can inform you of the production status as soon as possible. Please look forward to further updates!

    Notice:Response to Zuiki controller malfunction

Thank you for playing JR EAST Train Simulator.

Since the update of the Steam client on September 11, there has been an issue with the Zuiki controller not working properly when you select theZuiki controller from the controller settings and play.
We are currently working with Valve Corporation to investigate the cause of this issue.

Based on the information we have received since the problem occurred, we have compiled a tentative countermeasure to make the mass control handles work when playing the game.

    Countermeasure (1)
By connecting the Zuiki controller to USB after the opening of JR East Train Simulator, the mass control handle may work without the need for additional settings.

    Countermeasure (2)
①If the mass control handle does not work in Countermeasure (1), click “Library” in the Steam client and click “JR East Train Simulator” from the left menu.
②When the “JR East Train Simulator” screen appears, click the controller icon or “View Controller Settings” on the right side of the screen.
③Click “Driving Controls” or “Edit Layout”.
④ Click “Joysticks” on the left side of the screen, then click “Master Controller (one handle)” for the left joystick operation in the center of the screen.
⑤ Click “Master Controller (one handle)” when the choice of options for the left joysticks is displayed.
    ⑥ Click “B Back”.
When ① to ⑥ are completed, the setting is complete.

Thank you very much for providing us with the information related to the problem through comments on the bulletin board, etc.
Thank you for your continued support of JR EAST Train Simulator.
