JR EAST Train Simulator News

First other company line! We will start producing DLC for JR Hokkaido Rumoi Line

Thank you for playing JR East Train Simulator.

This time we have a big surprise for you all!

We have just released JR East train simulators for the Tokaido Line, Chuo Line Rapid Service, Oito Line, Saikyo Line and Kawagoe Line, but this time we have decided to go beyond the boundaries of our company and start working on other companies' lines for the first time.
The line is JR Hokkaido's Rumoi Main Line, a section of which (Ishikari-Numada Station to Rumoi Station) was regrettably discontinued on April 1, 2023.
With the full cooperation of JR Hokkaido, we were able to record simulator footage of the Ishikari-Numada Station-Rumoi Station section of the line by using a dedicated train for filming just prior to the discontinuation of the line.

The simulator was created with JR Hokkaido's wish that the Rumoi Main Line will remain in everyone's memories forever.
About the release plan
Route: JR Hokkaido Rumoi Main Line Down: Fukagawa → Rumoi
    Train: Kiha 54 type
    Amount: Undecided
    Release date: Late March 2024

*Please note that this is a current plan and the content and release date may change in the future.
Production work will begin soon.

Please look forward to its completion!
Next route to be distributed

Thank you for playing JR East Train Simulator!

We hope you are all enjoying the Oito Line onboard broadcasting and the maximum speed and limit warning display functions that were updated on March 30.
Thank you very much for all the positive feedback on the update, such as "the realism has increased" and "driving has become easier", as well as for your suggestions for specific improvements. We will continue to make improvements in response to your feedback.

Now, we would like to inform you of the next delivery route that you have been waiting for.
We are planning to distribute the "Keihin-Tohoku/Negishi Line" next time, which has been requested by many of you!

• Section: Southbound Omiya Station → Ofuna Station
(The video was taken before the opening of Takanawa Gateway Station.)
  • Model: Series E233-1000
  • Release date: Scheduled for late April 2023

In addition, we plan to add the entire Keihin-Tohoku/Negishi Line section (southbound Omiya Station to Ofuna Station) in the form of a free update to the basic pack, rather than releasing it as DLC in the next release.
We hope that more people will be satisfied with JR East Train Simulator through the enhancement of the basic pack.

Please look forward to the release of the Keihin-Tohoku and Negishi lines, which will allow you to enjoy longer distances than when the Early Access version was released!

Thank you for your continued support of JR East Train Simulator!

▲Maximum speed and limit warning display function (displayed on HUD)

We are still considering the most ideal way to display the maximum speed and limit warning for users, and will continue to make improvements in response to user feedback.
We will also continue to consider the implementation of in-train announcements for the Tokaido Line, Chuo Line Rapid Service, Saikyo Line and Kawagoe Line, which have been requested by many users.

If you like this update, we would be very grateful if you could reflect this in your review rating, which would be very encouraging for all of us in the production staff.
