In accordance with the expansion of the simulator's controller support, we have added functionality to allow the use of the Zuiki controller from May 2024. However, since the Steam client update on January 20 (Mon.), there has been a problem with the mascons not working properly when playing with the Zuiki controller selected in the controller settings.

The Zuiki Mascot can now be used by applying the Steam client update (Ver: 1738026274) that was released on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. By re-configuring the official layout of the Zuiki controller before starting the simulator, you can use the Zuiki controller without having to configure it every time you start the simulator from then on.

A malfunction occurred after the Steam client update on September 11, 2024 for the Zuiki controller, which has been compatible with JR East Train Simulator since May, 2024. Although we took action to resolve the issue in December of last year, after the Steam client update on Monday, January 20, 2025, the mascons do not work properly when playing again by selecting the Zuiki controller from the controller settings.
We are currently working with Valve to investigate the cause of this issue.

We will inform you of the situation here again after the problem is fixed or the cause is determined, so
we would appreciate it if you could wait for a while.
For customers who use the Zuiki controller,We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your understanding.

• Implementation of driver finger pointing voice to the Senseki Line, Shinetsu Main Line, Saikyo-Kawagoe Line DLC

  Cicadas were added between stations on the Nambu Line branch line and the Tsurumi Line to coincide with the video season.

  The electronic whistle sound at departure of the Nambu branch Line will be changed to a buzzer sound to promote boarding and alighting in accordance with the actual train.
