Since Horse Hall came out many years ago, we're not really eligible for the Steam Awards. Wolf Hall, on the other hand, would definitely appreciate your support!

Magical Diary Collection

We've set up a bundle containing the two Magical Diary games, to make it easier to get both games if you already own one. (If there are future Magical Diary titles, they will be added to the same bundle.)

Engine Upgrade Live

As previously announced, we have now updated this game to run on a newer version of the Ren'Py engine. This was a big overhaul, and while we believe we have sorted out most problems by now, please do report any strange behavior that you encounter!

Old savegames should load and play without difficulties in the new build. However, you may need to reset your visual preferences (widescreen, etc) as some of the way this works was changed too drastically to carry over the old settings.

More information available in this discussion topic. Please post any bugs and questions there, so that we can more easily find and resolve them!

Now that this is hopefully working smoothly we can get back to planning the next update for Wolf Hall!

Engine Upgrade in Progress

A major update is currently available for testing on the beta branch (to access it, right click the game in your steam library and select Properties, then tab over to Betas, then select the 'beta' option. No password is needed.)

This is a big update involving changing the underlying code engine, which affects the way the game behaves in many many little ways. We've fixed a lot of bugs already, but if you have the time and inclination to test, please have a look and let us know if you run into any weird behavior.

More information about the update in this discussion thread - please post bugs THERE and not HERE so we don't miss your feedback!

The update does not add new story content, just a lot of bug fixes and a link to because many players haven't yet noticed there's a second game out!
