- Fixed freezing issue after finishing EP.1 and starting a new game again.

- Added a string to indicate which save data is the cleared data for EP.1

- Fixed Stray Dog double appearing after saving near the end of EP.1

- Fixed Stray Dog appearing as a companion after staring a new game again after finishing EP.1

Hi!

After months of beta testing, we're now thrilled to announce that the game is exiting beta and will be releasing an EP.1 of the game as a free demo.

For those of you who have finished the beta (playtest) version, I'd like to kindly ask you to transfer your saves to the demo version, as the playable version of the game will be the demo version from now on. You can do that by simply copying the "save" folder from the playtest version's directory to the demo version's directory.

Unfortunately, there are no updates on the game story yet. Meaning that the playtest and demo version will still have the same story. We promise that we'll be releasing EP.2 of the game soon in this demo version as well.

Updates from Beta:

• Fixed some typos.
  
• Fixed tutorial button icons in dialogue box from disappearing.
  
• Added the ability to show the affection to the dog.
  
• Added Steam Achievements.
  
• Fixed some grammatical errors and terms.
  
• Added the ability to fast-forward the game logo at the game start-up as well as the end-game credit.
  
• Added the UI for telling how to remove a letter while writing Hiraya's contact and how to exit the dog affection showing.

หลังจากที่ใช้เวลาเป็นเดือนในการทำ beta testing ตอนนี้ทางเราอยากจะแจ้งว่าตัวเกมกำลังจะออก beta และจะปล่อยตัวเกมในเวอร์ชัน demo นะครับผม จะมี 1 ตอนให้เล่นฟรี

สำหรับคนที่เคยเล่นจบในเวอร์ชัน beta มาแล้ว อยากรบกวนให้ทุกคนย้าย save จากเวอร์ชัน playtest มาอยู่ในเวอร์ชัน demo โดยการไป copy โฟบเดอร์ที่ชื่อว่า "save" ที่อยู่ใน directory ของเวอร์ชัน playtest มาวางไว้ใน directory ของเวอร์ชัน demo นะครับผม เพราะว่าต่อจากนี้ตัวเกมจะถูกอัพเดทแค่ในเวอร์ชัน demo นี้นะครับผม

ตอนนี้ตัวเนื้อเรื่องของเกมเองอาจจะยังไม่มีอัพเดทจากเวอร์ชัน playtest นะครับ แต่ทางเราขอสัญญาว่าจะมีอัพเดทในเร็วๆนี้ในเวอร์ชัน demo นี้แหละครับ เป็นตัว EP.2 ให้เล่นฟรีเหมือนกันครับผม

สิ่งที่อัพเดทจากเวอร์ชัน Beta:

• แก้ไขคำผิด
  
• แก้ไอคอนปุ่มที่หายใน dialogue box
  
• เพิ่ม feature ที่จะทำให้คุณสามารถแสดงความรักต่อน้องหมาได้
  
• เพิ่ม Steam Achievements.
  
• แก้รูปประโยคและคำศัพท์ต่างๆ
  
• สามารถกดข้ามโลโก้ตอนเข้าเกมและตอน end credit ได้แล้ว
  
• เพิ่ม UI ว่าให้กดปุ่มไหนที่จะลบตัวอักษรในขณะที่กำลังเขียน contact ของ Hiraya และเพิ่มปุ่มกดออกตอนที่ลูบหัวนื้องหมา
  

日本の皆様、こんにちは！「Bangkok Story: A Stray Dog」開発チームの Shameful Guys Development です。この度は、このゲームの日本語版についてお伝えします。
元々このゲームは、タイ語だけでのリリースを考えておりました。具体的には、初めに最終話前までを無料体験版としてリリースし、その後、全話を有料で発売する予定でした。しかし、非常にありがたいことに、日本の方々にもゲームに興味を持っていただいたことを知り、急遽日本語版をリリースすることを決定致しました！
しかし、正直なところ、現段階での日本語の無料体験版をリリースするのは難しい状況です。私たちは2人だけのチームでこのゲームを開発しています。プロジェクト開始当初、25歳だった私は、そのころから自費でチームメンバーを雇っており、予算の余裕がありません。また、チームリーダーとして私が最優先すべきはプロジェクトの完成です。そのため、現段階では日本語の無料体験版のリリースは、まだ先になると考えております。
リリースが遅くなるものの、ゲームの日本語化には全力で取り組んでおります。漫画『呪術廻戦』のタイ語翻訳を手掛けた会社を含む、複数の翻訳会社と連絡を取りながら、できるだけ早く日本語版のリリースをできるように努めております。
開発段階での日本語の無料体験版をリリースができず、誠に申し訳ございません。しかし、日本の皆様のご期待に添えるように努力して参りますので、今しばらくお待ちいただければ幸いです。

Hi all! James here, the developer of Bangkok Story: A Stray Dog.

After I went into hibernation to develop this game for a very long time. I'm thrilled to say that the game is now available for public playtesting (Open Beta). The game only consists of 1 episode at the moment. I promise there are more to come soon. The sole purpose of doing a public playtesting is to gather feedback and determine the mental model of the players whether it is as intended and correlated with the game's narrative design or not. I intend to gather feedback and use that to craft as well as improve the overall experience of the game as much as possible for you guys.

I sincerely hope that you will have fun playtesting this Open Beta Version of the game!

Hi all! We decided to run closed beta testing sessions that will let players who are interested in trying our game to play the very first playable version of the game! We are now accepting an application for beta testers. By filling out this form, we can understand your gaming backgrounds better. We will then evaluate and contact those applicants who we think might be suitable for our game's beta testers. Come join our first beta testing!!!

We planned to do a selected few for our beta testers at this point to ensure that the game's narrative design is as intended, and we will later do an open beta playtesting to let everyone to playtest and give feedbacks to the game publicly in the near future. Please stay tuned!!!

สวัสดีครับทุกคน ตอนนี้พวกเราได้ตัดสินใจกันว่าจะเปิดให้บุคคลภายนอกมา playtest กันเป็น closed beta testing session ที่จะสามารถให้ทุกคนที่มีความสนใจจะเล่นเกมของเราได้เทสเล่น version แรกสุดที่เปิดให้บุคคลภายนอกเข้ามาเล่นได้ ทางเราตอนนี้ก็เปิด Survey ให้มากรอกเพื่อเป็นการคัดเลือก beta testers ที่เหมาะสมให้มาเทสเล่นเกมชองพวกเราอยู่ มาาๆๆ มาร่วมเข้ากรอกกันเยอะๆนะครับบ แล้วเดี๋ยวเราจะเรียกตัวอีกทีนึงถ้าคุณได้ถูกเลือกเป็น closed beta testers นะครับ
