EA and Bloober Team Promise Fixes for PS5 Pro Performance Issues

EA and Bloober Team have announced they are working to fix Silent Hill 2 and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor performance issues on the PS5 Pro.

Following the release of the PS5 Pro, some gamers are reporting issues regarding the graphical department and image quality of some games. The two biggest games to be affected are Silent Hill 2 regarding its image quality in performance mode, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor suffering from severe image quality due to the PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) upscaling technology in the Performance Mode. With how big the issue is, the Bloober Team and EA have shared on Twitter they are aware of the situation and are currently finding fixes for the issues.

For Silent Hill 2, a Digital Foundry video reported that the game suffered from image stability issues introduced in the latest patch, version 1.05, on the PS5 Pro across both modes, mainly in Performance mode. Digital Foundry noted a visible downgrade in image quality compared... Read more
