Silent Hill 2 Remake is so good even director of the original wants to play it

Silent Hill 2 Remake was a troublesome proposition. Obviously it comes from a good pedigree - the original is one of the most renowned, admired videogames ever made - but with that reputation comes an enormous amount of expectation and dubiousness. The remake's puzzles are just one major change, and Bloober Team kicks things off with a brand-new headscratcher right out of the gate.

When it comes to puzzles, Silent Hill 2 shares its DNA with old-school adventure games - they can often be obtuse, and demand a specific item to progress. Fans of the original might fare better when dealing with reprising puzzles like the Silent Hill 2 coin puzzle or hanged man puzzle, but the jukebox is a whole new beast. With no memories of the old game to draw upon, you might need a helping hand jumping through all the hoops required to solve it. That's where we come in.
