Patch 1.1 - Endemic Mode, Mod Support, Optimizations

fixed bullets sometimes going through enemies at point-blank range
added tip popup suggesting to load older save if player dies multiple times without making progress
added notice to splash screen explaining how to fix the splash screen freeze bug
added revolver bullets to shotgun swarm room (for those doing revolver-only challenges)
fixed crosshair getting stuck on dead bodies sometimes


I'm going to continue working on this game mode on and off over the next few months so feel free to suggest things you would like to see. I'm reading all the community discussions about it.

Patch 1.1 Beta 4

Published more bug fixes and improvements based on feedback:

  • Added note showing highest floor reached in endemic mode to main menu
  • Fixed not getting 'not enough space' popup when grabbing pistol bullets sometimes
  • Reduced chance Double Packed upgrade successfully works
  • Reduced chance enemies drop ammo on death after getting Full Pockets upgrade
  • Fixed 'Show map' button covering descriptions
  • Made 'show map' button and 'locks' and 'money' display in endemic mode be translatable
  • Made so enemies spawned from biomasses cannot hibernate on death
  • Fixed spectral zombie on spikr getting upgrades
  • Fixed enemy upgrades being applied multiple times on selection
  • Fixed exit door being wrong color in full map view

Published more bug fixes and improvements based on feedback:
  • added new upgrades: vampirism, more syringes, zombie health up, bursters, hibernation
  • added fullscreen map display in inventory
  • made vaccines heal more if max health is higher
  • made so shotgun shoots from tip of gun instead of base
  • fixed misslr missiles not covering entire boss room
  • fix shadow blob appearing on top of player at start of a level sometimes
  • fixed bug where enemy upgrades were applied twice when obtained

Just published a bunch of bug fixes and improvements based on feedback:
  • made so you can hover over upgrades in inventory screen to see info on them
  • fixed game crashing after shooting a biomass blob
  • fixed collision issue where you can get stuck in one room
  • fixed rats getting stuck
  • made exit buttons quieter
  • made so you have to right click upgrades to buy/choose them
  • fixed asteroid dirt appearing in shop room sometimes
  • made upgrades cost more
  • made so zombies can't have combined stealth, bubble shield or phase flicker at the same time
  • made ammo less common
  • made biomass spawn more often on reception floors
  • increased blobl health
  • increased spectral zombie move speed on spikr boss
  • made bosses do more damage on later floors
  • fixed placeholder upgrades appearing in shop sometimes
