[Hot Fix] Kādomon: Hyper Auto Battlers Version 0.3.1 Patch Notes.

Hey everyone! Thank you for being patient with us, we're working to keep on top of any issues reported! We've been hard at work since release and have resolved a few of the more common issues below:

Bug Fixes

  • Addressed a crash affecting the Khaothesis boss fight on recently restarted runs.
  • Addressed unusually long Loading times, particularly on initial run startup.
    • For players who already have Save Data from 0.3.0 or previous versions, the initial load may take some time, as your save file is being upgraded under-the-hood. Once this process is complete, you should no longer experience any extended loading periods in future sessions.
  • Addressed language settings being overridden by user's System Language setting.

Major Additions

  • Early Access Launch.
General Gameplay Adjustments
  • Balance adjustments to Boss Battles.
    • Gnocking – toned down power of summoned units.
    • Khaothesis – increased power of summoned units.
  • Balance adjustments to Miniboss Battles.
    • Dranachaus - adjusted Super to remove Max Health rather than Deal Damage.
  • Certain Hyper Evolution Items can now be created using the Combine option in the Bag.


Misc.

  • Updated the appearance of some on-hover tool tips.
  • Music Tracks have been extended, to address any issues with incorrect track looping.


Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Armachillo's Passive not triggering correctly.
  • Fixed issue causing Shiftyke to not correctly display in the Kadodex.
  • Fixed 'ASLEEP' Status Effect causing issues with 'ON START' Passive Triggers, resolving some issues with Boss Encounters.
  • Fixed 'Ladder' item incorrectly trigger the equipped Kadomon's Attack.
  • Fixed 'Jar of Dirt', 'Weighted Dice' and 'Telescope' items effect not triggering correctly.
  • Fixed Potions not correctly counting towards Quest Completion status.
  • Fixed Random Events occasionally causing freezes/hard locks.
  • Fixed issue causing null reference items to occasionally appear in random encounters.


Known Issues

  • Random Events display incorrect localised text when playing in Non-English languages
  • Fix identified, will be updated in the next 48 hours.
  • Controllers are currently unsupported due to some late-stage technical issues.
  • Bugs identified, will be fixed during the launch window.

For this week only, when you buy Kādomon, you'll automatically unlock three rare misprints for Beleaf, Monku, and Creeze! These particular misprints have a 1/1000 chance of showing up in battle, but why wait for fate when you could play with them straight away?

Community Update: Mini FAQs

Hey everyone,

We're working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready for launch day on Monday! I just wanted to answer a couple questions I'd seen popping up recently, and if there's anything else you'd like to ask about - please do let me know in the comments.



[h3]Mini FAQs![/h3]
Can I carry on my saved data from the prologue/demos?
Yep, if you've unlocked Kādomon in previous games that you'd like to carry over, then look for the options in the pause menu. This should allow you to transfer them over.

What should I do if I find a bug?
The reason why we wanted to opt for Early Access is so we could work with our community to build and shape the game. If you find something you're not sure of when playing Kādomon, hit F12 and let us know!

If I find a misprint, are they permanently unlocked?
Each Kādomon will have two misprint colour varieties, one with a 1/1000 chance of appearing, and an even rarer one with a 1/2000 chance. If you come across these special Kādomon in battle, you'll need to add them to your team, and then send them back to camp before the end of that run. If you don't send them back to camp you'll lose that misprint!

[h3]What are misprints? [/h3]
A misprint is a rare color variant of a Kādomon! Every Kādomon has an additional 2 color variants that can randomly appear. The more common misprint has a 1/1000 chance of appearing in battle, whilst the rarer version has a 1/2000 chance. (The misprints included in the launch week sale are the 1/1000 kinds, so you'll still have the rarer versions to discover!)
