Hero Shards

Collect Hero Shards in dungeons and from Vanguard Initiative battleground quests – and you’ll receive some glorious loot in return! Take your Hero Shards to Targon in Velika or Highwatch and trade them for rewards. Highlights include:
• New and existing map pieces, Agate Moon and Ruby Moon Elin
• Enchanting scrolls
• Etchings IV
• Leap Crate (Level 70), which takes you straight to level 70

Event dungeon: Nest of Nimistrix
**31st March 2020 (9:00 AM) to 28th April 2020 (9:00 AM)**
Make an omelet out of Nimistrix and her eggs! After the dungeon closed its doors in patch 92, it will return in April in renewed splendor. Instead of groups of three, you can now venture into this event version of the nest in a 5-player group.

Here’s what’s in store for you:

• From level 70
• For 5-player groups
• 40 daily entries (80 for club members)
• 250 adventure coins per entry
• Designed for item level 453
• Difficulty level similar to Forbidden Arena

Rewards?!

Those who overcome this challenge won’t be leaving empty-handed: in addition to loot chances similar to those in the Forbidden Arena and EXTREM Key Fragments, you can also earn yourself the exclusive title “Nimistrix’ Bane”!

Easter Egg Scramble

**2nd April 2020 (9:00 AM) to 16th April 2020 (9:00 AM)**
Collect Easter eggs, upgrade them, and earn some incredible prizes! Just like last year, you get to decide how far to push the envelope and when you want to open the eggs to receive your reward. The eggs are hidden in group dungeons above level 65:
• Dungeons with 65/68 weekly entries: chance of 1 egg per player
• Dungeons level 69 to 70: guarantees 1 or 2 eggs per player

This year’s rewards include exclusive Darkan’s Pink Wings, Ancient Mighty Dream Birds, the Pink Heart Weapon Skin, Cherry Blossom Wisp outfits, the cute pet lizard Zorenai, and much more!

Can you find the hidden egg? Each day an Easter egg will appear somewhere in Arborea that you can find to unlock an achievement. Additionally, nasty Caiman Egg Thieves are out to spoil the Easter spirit. Swipe some Easter eggs from the cheeky monsters and dye them for great rewards!

Enjoy the tasty soup and harness its power! During the event we’ll give you rice cake soups with extra-powerful effects for your time online. Hungry for more? With a bit of luck you’ll also be able to bag the tasty soup as jackpots in dungeons.
Note: The soups cannot be used in ranked content. The effects cannot be combined with each other.

Soups and their effects:

• Rice Cake Soup with Red Beans
• Increases the chance to crit by 2900%.

• Increases power by 200% and attack speed by 20%.

Quiz

For all the math fans among you, there’s one more way to get your hands on the soup: our big math quiz is taking place on the weekend of the 11th and 12th April. On Saturday at 4 PM, 6 PM, and 11 PM, and on Sunday at 10 AM, 2 PM, and 8 PM you’ll be able to battle it out with your knowledge in the Quiz Arena for delicious meals.

At the end of March, patch 92 is bringing reworked PvP and PvE content, so you’ll receive bigger rewards for many activities. Here you’ll find all the details about the changes.



Dungeons and the Path to Level 70

Instead of having both a normal and a hard mode of each instance, most dungeons will have only one difficulty level each as of this update. There will be different rewards depending on the difficulty.We’ve already provided a full list of these changes in our preview - the content was updated- (LINK), and below you’ll find some additions:

Removed Dungeons

In addition to the already mentioned modified dungeons, the following instances are being removed with patch 92:

• Demokron Factory (Normal/Hard)
• Shadow Sanguinary
• Lilith’s Keep (Easy)
• Ruinous Manor (Easy/Hard)

Dungeon Changes

• Velik’s Sanctuary is now a 5-player instance
• Removed Gossamer Vault (Hard) from the season rankings
• Adjusted starting position in Lilith’s Trial
• Various old armor can no longer be looted in dungeons as new armor has been added
• Adjusted loot in the Ghillieglade and other solo dungeons
• Adjusted Vanguard Initiative Quests for dungeons

Treasure Maps

This update adjusts the way Wilson’s Treasure Maps work, so instead of having a left and a right half, one of the 5 possible maps can now be obtained in the dungeon directly. The Treasure Maps will be available in the 9 dungeons of item level 453 to 461.

The new Treasure Maps will only remain in your inventory for 3 hour – so be quick with your treasure hunt!Instead of Diamonds, the superior treasure now contains a variety of materials for crafting etchings.

Note: After the update, you will no longer be able to fuse any remaining left and right halves of Treasure Maps. However, you will be able to use extraction to transform them into Wilson’s Treasure Maps [Aurum Road], which also stay in your inventory for 3 hours.


PvP Improvements


More Rewards

Completing the following Vanguard Initiative Quests also rewards you with more Gold:

• Win once in Corsairs’ Stronghold: 2,200 > 3,000 Gold
• Win in the Underground Battlepit: 200 > 500 Gold
• Win in the Shore Hold: 800 > 2,500 Gold Additionally, the amount of skill advancement XP you receive has been adjusted, so you now get a random amount between 30,000 and 200,000.

The Bellicarium Credits Shop will also see some changes:

• The prices for purchasing Arborea tokens and plates are reduced by 90%
• Added items for improving level 65 Exodor gear and jewelry

Individual Titles and Skins

Each Battleground rankings season, the top-ranked players in the Corsairs’ Stronghold and the Shore Hold will each also be awarded a battleground-specific winner’s trophy.The winner’s trophy can be sold for 250,000 Gold or collected. All winner’s trophies are valid until 31st March 2021. All remaining trophies will be deleted at midnight on 1st April 2021.

Once you have collected 6 winner’s trophies, you can exchange them personalized title created exclusively for you:

• Contact our customer support with the title of your choice
• You suggestion will be checked for its wording and overlap with existing titles
• Your personal title will be passed on to our developers for a future patch (a minimum waiting time of 203 months is to be expected).
• Once the title is available, it will be granted to you – and only you!

If you collect 10 trophies, you’ll ever be able to request your own weapon skin for your class! The process is similar – but the wait will be much longer. But if you have the patience and have always wanted to carry a truly unique weapon, it’s definitely worth it!

Guild War in Velika

Entry is now possible from 2 hours before the start, rather than 30 minutes. Here’s a quick recap:

• Guild wars take place every Sunday at 5 PM
• The new times mean you can enter the zone from 3 PM

Other Changes:

• Points for killed opponents have been significantly increased
• Participation is only open to guilds with a sufficient number of Valderion Tokens
• Towers of guilds with fewer than 5 members will be destroyed shortly before the start
• The 1st-place rewards have been increased, while rewards for 2nd-5th are shared between 2nd-20th
• Supply crates for 1st-5th places are now given to 1st-40th places with the contents different depending on the rank

Guild Emergency Missions

The rewards for Guild Emergency Missions have also been updated with the crates listed above given as rewards depending on the scores of the various participating raid parties:

• 4th-5th place: Ducal Guild Supplies In addition, the HP of the 3 boss monsters has been increased and their spawn locations are now determined at random.

Other Changes

Exodor Islands

The locations and behavior of many opponents on the Exodor islands have been adjusted:

• They knock you down and interrupt you less often
• Reduced HP of normal and medium opponents
• Boss monsters now appear randomly when hunting normal monsters (no longer at a random time)
• Possible loot for the boss monsters has been adjusted
  • New: Condensation methods for dark shards
  • Removed: Skill advancement XP
  • Changed: Crates will no longer be available as group loot

Game Interface and Items

• New elements added to the menu to access the various social media pages and the official homepage
• Added various colors to highlight important items (items that are dropped by bosses)

Leveling

• Various improvements for new players, this time levels 50 to 65

Big events are casting their shadows ahead: the patch largely clears up instances in Arborea: the dungeon chaos of levels 65 to 70 will be cleaned up to give new players a better overview of how to reach the maximum level. Many existing dungeon will be adapted simultaneously so they are made more challenging – and lucrative – for level 70 players.

The battleground rewards will also be adjusted. For example: PvP specialists can get individualized titles of their choosing!

For dungeons below level 65, nothing changes. Starting at level 65, the group dungeons listed below will offer better loot. Solo dungeons will remain the same but with updated loot so you can also receive enchanting material for the new Exodor scout equipment.



Instead of running many different instances to get at a few items, you can now take on a smaller number of dungeons with bigger rewards. Level 70 boss monsters have been adjusted as part of the balancing to offer a more reasonable challenge. If you beat them, you can expect more plentiful loot than before.

Bonus chance of rare items: in addition to the loot possibilities above, there is a chance of finding Arborea’s Breath Box as a jackpot item in each dungeon!
If you obtain the box, you’ll find a token inside which you can exchange for rare items, for example a Superior Halidom V, a Superior Relic V or a scroll which guarantees to improve an equipment item by +1!


You can also expect changes in Arborea’s battlegrounds: with the update, players receive more gold for each respective Vanguard Initiative quest. At the same time, the prices for purchasing Arborea tokens and plates are massively reduced. They’ll cost you 90% fewer credits!
The merchant also has new items in stock for improving Exodor equipment in exchange for Bellicarium credits.
But that’s not all: there is a new reward for players in first place in the season rankings!


Each player in first place in Corsairs' Stronghold and Shore Hold will receive a new trophy. You can either be sold for 250,000 Gold or collected. For 6 trophies you can request a personalised title: in this case, please contact our customer support about your desired title. After a standard review of whether the title is acceptable and not already taken, your personal title will be passed on to our developers for a future patch. It may take a few weeks or several months until the title is available. As soon as it’s ready, it will be given to you exclusively!



Exodor scout equipment
As hinted at in the dungeon changes, there will be a new equipment type: Exodor scout equipment!
This equipment for level 65 should allow players to start their journey to level 70 without having to resort to using different older equipment sets.
Exodor scout equipment can be obtained via the Apex quests at level 65. It can be upgraded to +10 relatively quickly using the new enchanting materials in the instances, which is approximately on par with superior equipment +0.
From then on, you should be at around level 70 and can hunt for superior equipment.

Enchantment Made Easy
Besides the new equipment there are also improvements for the enchanting of existing items – the probability of successfully enchanting an item has been massively increased between +0 and +10. Simultaneously, the probability that the item will be damaged has been lowered. An Overview:

Complete missions, fill your Battle Pass and unlock different reward levels – earn recognition for your dungeon runs, cooking and other skills in this event!

Complete different missions each day and earn Battle Points in reward. You can take your BP to Master Iaito in Highwatch and exchange them for ever better reward chests, up to the fabulous Ultimate Chest.

Whoever successfully completes the season will get a Lethal Intent Potion from the final rewards chest. This can be used repeatedly for 30 days to produce a magical and sinister fog effect around you.

Now Improved

Based on your feedback from the first season, we’ve made the following improvements and bug fixes:

• The [Battle Pass] Gold Key will now be provided in a tradeable chest which can be passed on
• The [Battle Pass] Key Grinder now provides the correct amount of BP (100,000)
• Added missions for the new dungeons
• You also get a daily ticket for selecting a battleground mission
• Added a new battleground mission

Starting Missions

Each day you’ll receive a mission briefing one minute after logging in for the first time. This will contain 4 random dungeon missions, one random solo mission, one crafting mission, plus a ticket for a battleground or dungeon mission of your choice. Each mission is embodied by an item in your inventory which will remain in your possession for up to 12 hours.

You can receive additional missions at the weekend for your time online; during the week you’ll receive extra Battle Points instead.


Completing Missions

To complete a dungeon mission, you require a token from the respective dungeon. Each final boss will drop one token per party member, i.e. you’ll need to complete the dungeon just once. Collect your token from the boss and then right-click to complete the mission. You’ll earn BP in reward. The same applies for battleground missions.

Solo missions can be completed in the same way. In this case, however, you earn the tokens from Vanguard Initiative quests instead of from the dungeon boss.

Right-clicking on crafting missions opens a window in which you’ll need to drag the amount of silex, meals or plates. Once you’ve done that, the mission will be complete and you’ll receive your BP.


Rewards

The BP you earn can be converted into reward chests from Iaito in Highwatch. Each chest (with exception of the Ultimate Chest) contains a reward and returns the BP used to open it. That means your BP level remains unchanged and you don’t have to start back from scratch after each chest. You can only receive each chest once.

Iaito also has a selection of golden reward chests available. These work exactly the same as the regular reward chests, except that you need a [Battle Pass] Gold Key from the TERA Shop to open them. This key will open all the golden reward chests without being consumed, so you only need the one key to open all the chests.

Once you’ve collected all the rewards, you can convert your BP into an Ultimate Key, unlocking further bonuses. More details can be found further below.

The Ultimate Key

You can still receive bonus rewards after opening all the reward chests by converting your BP into an Ultimate Key. This can be used to open Ultimate Chests which Iaito will give you for 1,000 BP.

Just like the Gold Key, the Ultimate Key is not consumed on use, so you can continue opening chests as long as you have enough BP. Each Ultimate Chest contains 100 Ultimate Coupons which can be exchanged for awesome bonus rewards. Owners of a Gold Key get an extra bonus, as they can also open the box inside each Ultimate Chest containing another 100 coupons.

If you convert your BP into an Ultimate Key too early – meaning that Iaito still has unopened reward chests for you – he can give you a Key Grinder which will break your Ultimate Key back down into the full amount of BP.


Event Items in the Tikat Shop

If you want to make the most of the event, you can visit the Tikat Shop and buy 300 BP or [Battle Pass] Selection Dungeon Tickets to get more missions to complete.
