A new build is going out today with some sprite and typo fixes!

If you run into any typos, please don’t hesitate to send a quick email to [email protected]. I don’t need any kind of fancy report, a simple screenshot is very helpful into getting it fixed.

Sorry for the typos, I know they can be annoying! I’m a one-person dev/writer team and it’s a big game, so please forgive me. :D

The official release date is set! September 19th, 2023 at 10am EST.

Note: You may have noticed an update go out for the demo. Note that there is no new content in the demo. The latest update is primarily for the numerous GUI changes.

It's been awhile since there's been a demo update!

There's two major changes of note in this new demo build:

1. Julian's route has undergone some revisions.

While the path and ending are the same in the demo build, there have been some significant changes to Julian's character and new scenes! A brand new character is introduced during his route.

2. Mini-stories have been added to the game, and have been made available in the demo!

There are currently two mini-stories - one in Julian's route, and one in Sebastian's route.

Mini-stories are text-only canon content. They are similiar to side stories, but shorter in length and without the backgrounds and graphics. These will generally take 5-10 minutes to play.

They exist to provide some valuable insight into the character's background and development, that would otherwise be difficult to do without new art development.

Mini-stories have been included in the demo in hopes to get some feedback from the players!

The game has a Q2 2023 release date. :)

It is still under development! There's still lots of polish to do in the remaining routes, and more content coming before release.

Thank you all so much for your interest in Particles of Reality! I'm so excited the game has so much attention, it's far beyond what I've expected!

I've just released the official demo for the game on steam, and you can download it now on the store page!

Please note, this game is still in development! You may find some placeholder art or other minor issues while playing.

Feel free to report these in Discord or on the bug sub-fourm in Steam's discussion board. You can also find FAQs in both as well, plus lore and character sheets on Discord.

And as a final reminder - This is an ADULT game and there are various triggering topics throughout the stories. Please review the trigger warnings per route before playing! (And if I missed any warnings, please let me know so I can correct it!)

If you find the demo distasteful, the content in the full game will only be worse, so please use the demo to determine if this game is right for you.
