It's been a while since I last posted anything here on Steam. Honestly, I’m a bit nervous getting back into it 😅[/p][p]A little over a year and a half ago, I released the first season of My Future-Ex Family.
I never expected it to get so many sales and so much attention on Steam.
Right after release, I started working on the second season. But then… it turned out not to be a season at all — just a DLC.[/p][p]Once the DLC was out, my friends and I dove straight into developing Season Two.
And damn — it turned out so much better!
Yeah, we kinda overdid it with the episode length, and there's less branching than before, but we’re going to fix that in the upcoming expansion.
On the bright side: each episode got longer, there are way more renders, and the animations feel more alive than ever.[/p][p]And guess what — the game now has sound!
Not just basic door clicks, but full sound design for animations and scenes.
It’s not full voice acting (yet), but we’ve added over 3,000 sound effects![/p][p]New fan-favorite characters have joined the cast — beautiful and sexy as ever.
Some of the less popular girls were written out of the story. And, by the way, we’ll be doing the same cleanup after Season Two.[/p][p]I’d love to write more — so much has happened in the past 20 months — but hey, I’m more of a dev than a writer 😉

Hello, everyone!

It’s been a while since we last shared some news, though work hasn’t stopped for a moment. The holidays, reworking old content, adding new material, implementing sound effects, and visual polish—all of it takes time.

Today, I want to tell you about our work on the sixth episode of the game. A large amount of code and dialogue has become the norm for us, and honestly, that’s something we’re proud of. Sure, sometimes it’s challenging to visualize all of our ideas, but isn’t it better to aim for more rather than less?

Some of the animations turned out so great that it fills us with pride in what we’re creating. As I mentioned last time, we have set deadlines for each episode, and I’m 90% confident that we’ll finish the second season by August of this year. In fact, we have five episodes left to complete, polish the visual elements, add more sound effects and animations, and then wait for your reaction to the final product. That’s the big picture.

Now, let’s focus on what awaits you in the sixth episode.

First, a bit of stats:
