🔸 You can now disable voiceover in dialogues from the main menu and PDA, which some of you have complained about, saying the voices were irritating. I read everything and try to listen to everyone. Now you can turn them off. Dialogues in the intro videos cannot be disabled. Only in the game itself.
🔸 Minor tweaks in the main menu.
🔸 Optimization and improvements on some levels.

Hello, Stalkers! I bet you weren't expecting an update anymore, but here it is. Meet update 1.00.62.

[h2]Changes and Improvements:[/h2]

🔸 You have long complained about the sounds of gunshots, someone even wrote in a negative review that the guns sound like they are from 2000s games. I have heard you, now they shoot like in modern games, all the gunshot sounds are recorded from real weapons and on professional equipment. AKS-74, AK-74, AK-12, VSK-94, AS 'Wal', HMG, M4, M16, 27 "Ghost", Saiga-9 — modified gunshot sounds.
🔸 The Makarov pistol has been adjusted, slightly reduced in size, as it was originally a bit larger than in real life.
🔸 Modifications and changes in all types of firearms.
🔸 Fixed a bug with healing injections. It occurred if you used an injection, then put it in your backpack and saved or moved to another location. After which the injection became full again, seemingly not a bug but a feature, but exactly this could lead to a total loss of inventory due to a save system failure.

🔸 Fixed an issue when transitioning from the "Dead City" and "Neutral Base" locations to the Shelter, which caused the loss of weapons in three backpack slots; the weapons disappeared during the transition. Now everything works as it should. Thanks to the user duendedelbosque for bringing this to our attention!

We are pleased to introduce to you the new version of the update 1.00.61.

☢️ Did you express a desire to be able to scale the mini-map on the PDA? Now it's possible: you can both reduce and enlarge it.
☢️ Not only has map scaling become available, but also the ability to set a single checkpoint in the PDA, which will allow you to mark a place if you want to return to it.
☢️ Now you can also control the PDA not only with your finger but also with a laser pointer, just as in the main menu.

🔸 A minor bug with the backpack has been fixed: if you place an item in the backpack slot, then release it and immediately take it back, this led to the sound repeating and looping.
🔸 The problem with incorrect graphic settings at the "Swamp" level has been eliminated.

[h2]Changes and Improvements:[/h2]

🔸 The backpack has been refined. Unfortunately, I missed a couple of bugs with it, specifically: the inability to take out an ammo box from the backpack, which occurs when trying to retrieve it with the right hand if you placed it with the left, causing an error; and the inability to take out a pistol from the backpack, occurring when trying to retrieve it with the opposite hand, also causing an error. Thanks to user T0X1N for timely identifying these issues. Also fixed was a bug when not all old slots were loaded with items or had artifacts hanging: upon the first load, weapons and artifacts were lying on the ground, causing a critical error in saves and loss of weapons when transitioning from level to level. Thanks to user owlpilot for identifying the issue.
🔸 Backpack grab improved. There were complaints that the right side was hard to grab. This has been fixed.
🔸 An additional slot has been added to the left side of the backpack under the gas mask, which was added in the previous update but not listed in the new features.
