[Update Apr 12] On the event UI, there is a text error where a Thief symbol is labeled as "Warrior" when hovered over. The text is incorrect and the bonus points will be provided when the mission is completed with a Thief character.

Enjoy the spring weather and unleash the full breadth of your legion of characters with the Tactical Relay Event! You'll need to complete tasks on nine different MapleStory characters on the same world in order to get the best rewards possible, so show off all your characters and claim some truly epic chairs!

Event Details:

• Are you ready for some challenge? Ready or not, here comes Tactical Relay 2022!
• Requirements: Lv. 101 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).
• Accept the ‘[Tactical Relay] Tactical Relay 2022 is Here’ quest within the star event notifier on the left side of the screen.
• There are a total of 9 stages with missions that you must complete one at a time in order.
• Each character can complete one stage per day. Thus, you will need 9 characters to complete all 9 stages.
• Stage missions are the following:
  
  • Hunt 500 monsters near your level
  • Reach 150 Combo Kills
  • Defeat a Daily Boss
  • Hunt 1,000 monsters near your level
  • Clear Monster Park 1 time
  • Activate a rune on the map once
  • Defeat 3 Elite Monsters (Elite Champions do not count towards the mission)
  • Reach 150 Multi KOs
  • Hunt 1,000 Arcane River monsters
• Remember, you must click the ‘Start Mission’ and ‘Complete Mission’ buttons for your completion to count.
• You cannot clear the mission if you’ve reached the Monster Park entry cap for the day before accepting the mission.
• You cannot clear the mission if the character defeated daily bosses for the day before accepting the mission.
• When you complete a stage you will receive 50 points. You may receive bonus points based on the Job and level of the character used to clear the mission.
  
  • Bonus Points
    
    • 10 additional points upon clearing a stage with a specific Job. Specific Job can be identified on the Tactical Relay UI.
    • 20 additional points upon clearing a stage with a character Lv. 200 and above.
    • Players may receive a total of 30 additional points upon clearing a stage with a specific character Lv. 200 and above.
    • Note: Xenon will count towards for both Pirate and Thief.
• You will receive daily rewards upon completion of stages 3, 6, and 9 each.
• As you accumulate points, you’ll also receive special rewards such as Tactical Relay Chair 2022 Coupon, Growth Potion Selector Coupon, Experience Nodestone, and more! See the reward section below for more information.
• There’s also 2 special missions that you can complete during the event duration.
  
  • Special mission 1: Accumulate 10,000 points
  • Special mission 2: Defeat Lotus, regardless of the difficulty, 3 times, each with different characters.
  • Only solo clears will count towards the mission completion.
  • Once you’ve cleared both special missions you will receive the Perfect Tactical Relay Chair 2022!
• You can use Daily Booster up to 3 times during the event duration to earn double the points.
  
  • Points earned during the day prior to using the Daily Booster will also be doubled.
  • Daily Booster effect will reset at 12:00 AM UTC.
• Daily rewards must be claimed before 11:59 PM UTC daily per world
• Cumulative Point Rewards can be obtained once per world and must be claimed before April 26 at 11:59 PM UTC.
• Stage completion will be reset every day at 12:00 AM UTC.

    • 2x EXP Coupon (15 min) (x5): Tradeable within account, 7-day duration.

We will be performing an unscheduled login server and channel maintenance on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 4:00 PM PDT (7:00 PM EDT / 1:00 AM CEST Apr. 9 / 9:00 AM AEST Apr. 9). We anticipate the maintenance to last approximately 2 hours, concluding around 6:00 PM PDT (9:00 PM EDT / 3:00 AM CEST Apr. 9 / 11:00 AM AEST Apr. 9). The maintenance will be rolled out progressively in stages as outlined below.   • Fixed the issue where the "Invitation to the Butterfly Garden" quest could be completed without owning all three of the Petite Luna Pets.
    • We plan to remove the Butterfly Garden Chair that players claimed without owning all three pets during our next scheduled maintenance.

Here’s a little update on what we observed after the March 24 maintenance.

March 24 Maintenance
Bera world seems to have improved in terms of the log count we were monitoring and what’s observed when playing on the server. We saw a few comments on the last survey from players that there's some odd behavior on some Bera world channels after the change, and so we will continue to investigate if that is server-related or not.

April 7 Maintenance
We have replaced all the Scania world channels during the April 7 maintenance and will monitor the channel performances after the deployment.

We have been and will continue to monitor the channels in NA Reboot and Bera worlds while we proceed to replace channels in the remaining worlds.

As usual, we will post another survey to gather information after this weekend, when the Scania world channels have had some time to be played on for a few days. The survey link will be provided here in this post as well as posted on our community platforms. We’d appreciate your active participation and feedback on these surveys.

  • Fixed the issue where the "Lil Glowy Butterfly Set" pets do not trigger the quest "Invitation to the Butterfly Garden" in Reboot World.
  • [Updated April 7] Restored the medals that were unintentionally removed after the March 24 maintenance. The affected players can claim their medals by talking to Maple Administrator located in the Event Hall. These medals have also been restored to the Medal Collection UI. You can only receive the medals once per character and you cannot receive a medal if it's already in your inventory or if it is currently equipped. Please claim the medals before April 27 at 14:00 AM UTC.
    • As a token of our apology, we distributed a Large Bebe Box to players that were affected by the issue where Dalair medals earned before the v.231 update were unintentionally removed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please claim the Large Bebe Box through the Gift Drop before April 21 at 11:59 PM UTC.
