Haunted Manor Event



It's late October, the shadows are getting long, the atmosphere is growing a certain bit spooky... and you've been invited to an exclusive party in a self-proclaimed haunted manor! What could possibly go wrong?



Join us for a spooky Halloween event filled with special missions, prizes, puzzles and more at the Haunted Manor!

Event Details
  • A mysterious letter arrives and invites you to a definitely-not-ominous party at the Haunted Manor!
  • Requirement: Lv. 101 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).
  • Accept the '[Haunted Manor] Mysterious Letter' quest from the star event notifier on the left side of the screen. Upon accepting the invitation, you will be moved to the Haunted Manor (whether you like it or not).
    • You can leave the Haunted Manor by clicking the ‘Exit’ button on the bottom right side of the screen (if you don't like it).
  • There are a total of 5 missions, and each mission will be unlocked daily at 12:00 AM UTC until October 24.
    • Each unlocked mission can be completed once.
  • Upon completion of each mission, accept the quest within the star event notifier on the left side of the screen to receive your reward.
  • Haunted Manor mission rewards can be obtained once per character.
  • Hidden mission alert! Complete a hidden mission to receive the Hallowkitty's Hat Picker Coupon!
    • The hidden mission can only be done after all 5 missions have been completed.
    • Hidden mission reward can be obtained once per world.
  • Haunted Manor can be done per character.
Rewards:
  • Mission 1: Complete the mission to receive the following:
    • Coven Cap Coupon: Untradeable, 7-day duration. Use the coupon to select 1 of the following:
      • Lil Pumpkin Witch Hat: Untradeable. Cash item can be transferred to the Cash Shop Inventory.
      • Spiderweb Witch Hat: Untradeable. Cash item can be transferred to the Cash Shop Inventory.
  • Mission 2: Complete the mission to receive the following:
    • Frightful Night Damage Skin: Untradeable, 7-day duration. The damage skin is tradeable when extracted.
  • Mission 3: Complete the mission to receive the following:
    • Permanent Halloween Ghost Mount Coupon: Untradeable, 7-day duration.
  • Mission 4: Complete the mission to receive the following:
    • Nightmare's Bloom Coupon: Untradeable, 7-day duration. Use the coupon to receive Nightmare's Bloom: Untradeable. Cash item can be transferred to the Cash Shop Inventory.
  • Mission 5: Complete the mission to receive the following:
    • Blue Nightmare Outfit Set Coupon: Untradeable, 7-day duration. Use the coupon to select 1 from each of the categories:
      • Blue Nightmare Hat
        • Blue Nightmare Fedora: Untradeable. Cash item can be transferred to the Cash Shop Inventory.
        • Blue Nightmare Hairpin: Untradeable. Cash item can be transferred to the Cash Shop Inventory.
      • Blue Nightmare Outfit
        • Blue Nightmare Suit (M): Untradeable. Item can only be equipped by a male character. Cash item can be transferred to the Cash Shop Inventory.
        • Blue Nightmare Dress (F): Untradeable. Item can only be equipped by a female character. Cash item can be transferred to the Cash Shop Inventory.
      • Blue Nightmare Shoes: Untradeable. Cash item can be transferred to the Cash Shop Inventory.
  • Hidden Mission: Complete the mission to receive the following:
    • Hallowkitty's Hat Picker Coupon: Tradeable within account, 7-day duration. Use the coupon to select 1 of the following:
      • Hallowkitty’s Witch Hat: Untradeable. Cash item can be transferred to the Cash Shop Inventory.
      • Hallowkitty’s Neon Hat: Untradeable. Cash item can be transferred to the Cash Shop Inventory.


 

Pink Bean Bulletin - Boss Cube and Flame Drop Issue

Hi Maplers,

We hope you are having a great time at the Night Troupe festival, and creating lots of memories with our adorable blue friend who is visiting Maple World. We are definitely having a lot of fun enjoying the festival ride attractions and watching the Magic Show and Fireworks!

Today, we wanted to give you a quick update regarding the issue with boss monster flame and cube drops that you all reported to us. After the v.227 update, you told us that the drop rates of Meister’s Cubes, Master Craftsman’s Cubes, Powerful Rebirth Flames, and Eternal Rebirth Flames appear to have changed.

We took a look, and found that the boss monster drop rates for Meister’s Cubes and Master Craftsman’s Cubes were different from the intended rates in v.227 but could not initially find any issues with the Powerful Rebirth Flame and Eternal Rebirth Flame drop rates. However, after re-examining the situation, we discovered that there indeed was an issue with the boss monster flame drop rates. They were different from their intended drop rates in Reboot world. We apologize for causing confusion with what we shared in the October 14 maintenance post regarding the issue.

We deployed a fix today (October 15, 2021) at 3:10 PM PDT for the boss monster flame drop issue, and will be distributing the following compensation next week:
  • Accounts with at least one character Lv. 61 and above in Reboot world with records of clearing a boss during October 6, 2021 (after maintenance) ~ October 15, 2021 3:10 PM PDT will receive the following items:
    • Powerful Rebirth Flame (x4): 14-day duration.
    • Eternal Rebirth Flame (x3): 14-day duration.

SSB Gender-locked Item Issue Compensation

Hi Maplers,

Thank you for your patience. To provide compensation for the eligible players mentioned in our SSB Gender-locked Item Issue Update post, we developed a new feature for these players to either obtain Maple Points or the counterpart item for the gender-locked SSB (Surprise Style Box) items that were received. This new feature will be implemented during our October 14 maintenance and the eligible players can receive the compensation by talking to the Maple Administrator located in the Event Hall and selecting the ‘Talk to a Maple Admin’ option in the dialogue until November 30 at 11:59 PM UTC. You can go to the Event Hall through the Dimensional Mirror either by entering the Dimensional Mirror portal in town or by clicking the “Quick Move” button below the Mini-map. In addition, the compensation for "All Accounts with Lv. 30 Character" will be distributed via the Gift Drop on the left side of the screen during the compensation duration.

The following compensations will be available from October 14 (after maintenance) ~ November 30 at 11:59 PM UTC:
[h3]Accounts that Purchased SSB Items (Zero and non-Zero characters)[/h3]
For accounts that received gender-locked items from opening a purchased SSB item between April 22, 2015 and August 27, 2021 at 11:59 PM PDT, you will be given two selection options.
  • We have maintained the related logs from April 22, 2015 onwards and would like to compensate all players for whom we have records.
  • The number of times you can use the selection feature is limited to the amount of gender-locked items you’ve received from opening a purchased SSB item during the period mentioned above.
    • Note: Gender-locked items received through Auction House purchases or 1-to-1 player trades will not be eligible for the compensation.
  • The item for which you make a selection and receive the compensation for will disappear from the list of equipment eligible for compensation.
  • The gender-locked items that do not have a corresponding item for the opposite gender will only have the option to receive Maple Points compensation.
  • The gender-locked items do not have to be in the character’s possession for you to receive the compensation.
  • Ex: If you received 10 male-specific items from opening the SSB items between April 22, 2015 and August 27, 2021 at 11:59 PM PDT, you can make the selection between the 2 selection options for each of the item in the compensation list. Once you've made a selection for an item, you won't be able to select a different compensation for that particular item so please make sure the compensation option you are selecting is the one you want for that particular item.

The eligible players will receive the following two selection options when talking to the Maple Administrator:
  1. Receive the corresponding untradeable item for the opposite gender for the item you’ve obtained from opening a purchased SSB item.
    • Note: This is not an exchange and you will not lose the existing item if you have it in your possession.
  2. Receive a Maple Point Exchange Coupon for the item.
    • Each Maple Point Exchange Coupon will provide 3,400 Maple Points, the price of one SSB item.
    • Note: This is not an exchange and you will not lose the existing item if you have it in your possession.

[h3]All Accounts with Lv. 30 Character[/h3]
Players who have an account with a character Lv. 30 and above (including players that meet the above criteria) created prior to August 27, 2021 at 11:59 PM PDT will receive the following items as a token of our apology for the incorrect information we provided:
  • You will be able to choose between the following two outfit sets. Please choose the set according to the gender of the character you would like to use it on.
    • Moonlight Set (M)
      • Moonlight Floral Hat
      • Moonlight Costume
      • Moonlight Marble Shoes
      • Fluttering Camellia Flower
    • Moonlight Set (F)
      • Moonlight Floral Hairpin
      • Moonlight Outfit
      • Moonlight Marble Shoes
      • Fluttering Camellia Flower
  • Legendary Bebe Box
    • 2x EXP Coupon (15 min) (x30)
    • 2x Drop Coupon (15 min) (x30)
    • Special Medal of Honor (x10)
    • Arcane Symbol Selector Coupon (x20)
    • Trait Boost Potion (x3)
    • Selective Slot Coupon (x4)
    • Extreme Growth Potion (x3): Use on a character between Lv. 141 and Lv. 199 to gain up to 10 levels max. The higher your character level, the lower the likelihood of getting more levels. When used on a character with Lv. 200 and above, they will receive the amount of EXP required to level up from Lv. 199. The potion cannot be used on Burning characters.
    • Eternal Rebirth Flame (x5)
