Players Lv. 101 and above can begin by accepting the quest "[Mobile Mansion] Return of the Mobile Mansion" to receive the Return of the Mobile Mansion customizable chair. After learning the basics, you’re ready to become the best homeowner! Hunt monsters near your level range (up to 20 levels above or below) to gather Pink Bean Jingles which can be used to level up your Mobile Mansion thus opening more customization options. Up to 200 Pink Bean Jingles can be obtained from monsters each day.



You can decorate your brand new mansion in so many ways! The Mobile Mansion can be leveled up 12 times, and you can customize your fancy new chair by adding walls, doors, horns, and other features.

• Mobile Mansion rolls here, there, and everywhere! No one knows where the Mobile Mansion will roll next!
• Requirements: Lv. 101 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).
• Open the star event notifier on the left side of the screen and accept the "[Mobile Mansion] Return of the Mobile Mansion" quest to receive your Mobile Mansion chair and begin the event!
• Collect Pink Bean Jingles by hunting monsters near your level (up to 20 levels above or below) in order to grow your mansion.
• You can collect up to 200 Pink Bean Jingles per character daily.
• When you have enough Pink Bean Jingles, you can double click them in your inventory to level up your Mobile Mansion chair.
• As you level up, you'll unlock the following customizations! Each level up requires the following amount of Pink Bean Jingles:
  
  • Lv. 2: 100 Pink Bean Jingles
  • Lv. 3 Walls: 100 Pink Bean Jingles
  • Lv. 4 Horns: 200 Pink Bean Jingles
  • Lv. 5 Cheeks: 200 Pink Bean Jingles
  • Lv. 6 Windows: 200 Pink Bean Jingles
  • Lv. 7 Marks: 300 Pink Bean Jingles
  • Lv. 8 Pink Bean Toy: 300 Pink Bean Jingles
  • Lv. 9 Roof Decor: 300 Pink Bean Jingles
  • Lv. 10 Door: 400 Pink Bean Jingles
  • Lv. 11 Effect: 400 Pink Bean Jingles
  • Lv. 12 Sit Together: 500 Pink Bean Jingles
• Upon reaching even-leveled milestones, you’ll receive Level Achievement Rewards. See the rewards section below for more details.
  
  • Level Achievement Rewards can be claimed once per world.
• The customization materials used to customize your Mobile Mansion are dropped from the following sources:
  
  • Bosses: Door, Marks, Windows, Effect
  • Monsters near your level: Walls, Horns, Cheeks, Roof Decor
  • Elite Monsters/Champions: Pink Bean Toy, Sit Together
• The customization materials are tradable.
• All customization materials will expire and no longer drop after October 5 at 11:59 PM UTC.
• You can continue decorating the Mobile Mansion until October 12 at 11:59 PM UTC even after the event ends.
• Mobile Mansion can only be decorated while your character is in town.
• Return of the Mobile Mansion can be done per character.
• Note: This event will not affect the previously obtained Mobile Mansion chair.

Rewards:

• Return of the Mobile Mansion: Chair. Untradeable.
• Pink Bean Jingle: Untradeable, expires October 5 at 11:59 PM UTC.

Hi Maplers,

Our internal teams have once again reviewed the compensation plans that we shared in the Surprise Style Box Gender-locked Item Issue post that went live August 27th. We realized that we may not have taken into consideration the non-Zero characters that were affected by the lack of clarity on how gender-locked items are obtained from the boxes. To provide compensation that will encompass non-Zero players affected by the issue, we are planning to adjust our compensation plan for Zero and non-Zero characters that received gender-locked items from opening a purchased SSB item. When we discussed the overall compensation once again, we came to the conclusion that the Royal Hair/Face Coupons may not be the proper compensation for this issue. Thus, we replaced the previous compensation with the newly updated plan. Please refer to the newly finalized compensation plan below.

All Accounts with Lv. 30 Character
For players who have an account with a character Lv. 30 and above (including players that meet the below criteria) created prior to August 27, 2021 at 11:59 PM PDT will receive the following items as a token of our apology for the incorrect information we provided:

Accounts that Purchased SSB Items (Zero and non-Zero characters)
For accounts that received gender-locked items from opening a purchased SSB item between April 22, 2015 and August 27, 2021 at 11:59 PM PDT, you will be given two selection options.

• We have maintained the related logs from April 22, 2015 onwards and would like to compensate all players for whom we have records.
• The number of times you can use the selection feature is limited to the amount of gender-locked items you’ve received from opening a purchased SSB item during the period mentioned above.
  
  • Note: Gender-locked items received through Auction House purchases or 1-to-1 player trades will not be eligible for the compensation.
• The number of times available will be deducted each time you make a selection and receive the compensation.
• The gender-locked items do not have to be in the character’s possession for you to receive the compensation.
• Ex: If you received 10 male-specific items from opening the SSB items between April 22, 2015 and August 27, 2021 at 11:59 PM PDT, you can make the selection between the 2 selection options a total of 10 times. Once you’ve made the selection 3 times, you will have 7 times remaining.

The eligible players will receive the following two selection options:

1. Receive the corresponding untradeable item for the opposite gender for the item you’ve obtained from opening a purchased SSB item.
   
   • Note: This is not an exchange and you will not lose the existing item if you have it in your possession.
2. Receive a Maple Point Exchange Coupon for the item.
   
   • Each Maple Point Exchange Coupon will provide 3,400 Maple Points, the price of one SSB item.
   • Note: This is not an exchange and you will not lose the existing item if you have it in your possession.

The eligible players can utilize this system to either obtain Maple Points or the counterpart item for the gender-locked SSB items that were received. Since this will be a new system, our MapleStory team is working to develop this feature to provide compensation for the affected players. We’ll update with more details, such as the date, in a future post. Again, we express our sincere apologies for the SSB gender-locked item issue and we thank you all for your patience.
