[h2]Blue Hole Exploration[/h2][p]Dive into the Blue Hole to fill out the Codex and get all the fish you'll need for a shift at Bancho Sushi![/p][p]Exploration Details:[/p]

• [p]Complete the quest "Exploration Preparation for Blue Hole Dive" from the Event menu, which will challenge you do defeat 1,000 monsters within 20 levels of you.[/p]
  • [p]This quest can be completed once per day per account.[/p]
  • [p]Enemies defeated while you are in a party will not count towards quest completion.[/p]
• [p]Speak to Dave in the Blue Hole by Gold Beach map to accept the "Ready to Dive" quest.[/p]
• [p]You can complete one successful exploration per day, and can spend 1,000 Maple Points for an additional exploration.[/p]
  • [p]If you fail an exploration (such as by not surfacing before you run out of oxygen), you can retry up to two times.[/p]

[p][/p]

• [p]Use the right ladder on the boat to dive into the Blue Hole! Catch as many fish as you can and make it back to the surface before you run out of air or before 60 minutes elapse![/p]
  • [p]When there is 1 minute remaining in the time limit, you will receive a notice reminding you to finish your dive beore time expires.[/p]

[p][/p][p]Blue Hole Exploration Controls and Features:[/p][p][/p]

• [p]O2: Shows your remaining oxygen. Run out, and your dive will end with none of the fish you've caught coming back with you![/p]
  • [p]Oxygen is slowly consumed while diving, even when completely stationary.[/p]
  • [p]When swimming faster with the Shift button, O2 will be consumed at a faster rate.[/p]
  • [p]Being hit by fish marked with a red dot will also deplete your O2.[/p]
• [p]Depth: Shows how far you've dived. Exceeding the maximum depth of your Diving Suit will cause O2 to deplete faster.[/p]
• [p]KG: Shows how much weight you're carrying, as well as the maximum amount you can carry.[/p]
  • [p]Carrying over the maximum will greatly reduce your movement speed, and eventually you will be prevented from picking up more fish.[/p]
  • [p]A Weight icon will appear over your head when you're overencumbered.[/p]
  • [p]The more weight you're carrying, the more time it will take to use the Escape Pod to surface from the depths.[/p]

• [p]Pressing Esc will bring up the Diving Inventory, showing your current equipment and acquired fish.[/p]
• [p]Fish that you do not wish to carry around can be discarded by selecting the undesired fish and pressing Space. Multiple fish can be selected and discarded at once with Left Ctrl.[/p]
• [p]If you wish to immediately give up on the current dive, press Tilde (~) from this menu. This will count as a loss, and any fish you've obtained will be lost.[/p]

• [p]The Escape Pod allows you to immediately return to the boat without needing to swim back to the surface.[/p]
  • [p]Use it by swimming near the Escape Pod and pressing Space.[/p]

• [p]Oxygen Tanks refill your O2 back to full when picked up.[/p]
  • [p]Use it by swimming near the Oxygen Tank and pressing Space.[/p]

• [p]Weapon Boxes provide one weapon selected at random when picked up:[/p]
  • [p]Kenta's Harpoon: Replaces the equipped melee weapon for the remainder of the dive.[/p]

  • [p]Red Sniper Rifle: Can be used instead of your Underwater Rifle for the remainder of the dive. Can be ugpraded in the Smartphone's Weapon Shop menu.[/p]
  • [p]Use it by swimming near the Weapon Box and pressing Space.[/p]

• [p]Ammo Boxes refill your Underwater Rifle and Death Sniper ammo when picked up.[/p]

• [p]Equipment Boxes reward one of the following items, selected at random:[/p]
  • [p]Oxygen Capsule: Restores 50% of maximum O2 when used.[/p]

  • [p]Underwater Scooter: Increases movement speed for a set period of time.[/p]
  • [p]Emergency Pager: Allows you to end the dive and immediately resurface without losing any fish.[/p]
  • [p]Use it by swimming near the Equipment Box and pressing Space.[/p]
  • [p]Equipment can be used with the R key, and you can cycle through your Equipment with the C key.[/p]

• [p]When you defeat a large-sized fish, swim near it and hold Space to harvest the meat and put it in your cargo box.[/p]
  • [p]Larger fish may require multiple harvests to get all of the meat, so keep at it until the fish disappears![/p]

• [p]Some fish when harpooned will fight against you, and you'll need to reel them in![/p]
  • [p]Repeatedly press the Space bar as quickly as possible to pull the fish in.[/p]
  • [p]If successful, the fish will be hauled in and placed in the Cargo Box.[/p]
  • [p]If failed, the fish will become unhooked and swim away.[/p]
  • [p]Being hit by an aggressive fish (marked by a red dot) before you start to reel a harpooned fish in will cause the harpoon to fail and the fish to be set free.[/p]

• [p]During the Tutorial dive, no fish will be caught and they will not be usable in Bancho Sushi.[/p]
• [p]At the end of each expedition, a summary of your dive will be presented, showing your catches, how deep you went, and more![/p]

[h2]Bancho Sushi[/h2][p]Take the fish you've caught to Bancho Sushi to feed the clientele of Gold Beach![/p][p][/p][p]Before opening the restaurant, you'll want to update the Menu and manage the employees to make the most out of the day's dining experience.[/p][p]Updating the Menu[/p]

• [p]Press 1 to open up the Menu UI, where you can determine what your customers will be able to order that day.[/p]

• [p]Click on "+ Add Menu" to select a new dish to add to the Menu.[/p]
  • [p]Additional Menu slots are unlocked through story progression, up to a maximum of 7 Menu slots.[/p]
  • [p]The basic Menu items of Norimaki and Green Tea are not counted towards your current Menu slots.[/p]

• [p]You can offer as much of each dish as you have the ingredients for each recipe. Press left or right to adjust the recipe's quantity.[/p]

• [p]Once set, you can check to see the dish listed on the Menu.[/p]

• [p]In the Menu UI, you can select a chosen dish and press Space to show options, including adding more ingredients, enhancing the dish, or removing it from the Menu.[/p]

• [p]Dishes can be enhanced up to Lv. 5 if you have the fish to meet the requirements.[/p]
• [p]Norimaki and Green Tea cannot be enhanced and will remain at Lv. 1.[/p]
• [p]The higher the dish level, the more Gold it will sell for.[/p]
• [p]Enhancements are permanent, and will remain for future restaurant days![/p]

• [p]On certain in-story days, Bancho Sushi will have a Hosting Party, where specific types of sushi will sell for considerably more than normal.[/p]
  • [p]Day 15: Jellyfish Party[/p]
    • [p]Jellyfish dishes sell for 5x the normal price.[/p]
    • [p]Applies to sushi made from Fried Egg Jellyfish, White Spotted Jellyfish, and Comb Jelly.[/p]
  • [p]Day 20: Tuna Party[/p]
    • [p]Tuna dishes sell for 2.5x the normal price.[/p]
    • [p]Applies to sushi made from Yellowfin Tuna and Bluefin Tuna.[/p]
  • [p]Day 25: Shark Party[/p]
    • [p]Shark dishes sell for 1.5x the normal price.[/p]
    • [p]Applies to sushi made from Whitetip Reefshark, Smooth Hammerhead, Copper Shark, Thresher Shark, Longnose Sawshark, Zebra Shark, Cookiecutter Shark, Frilled Shark, Rhinochimaeridae, and Megamouth Shark.[/p]

• [p]A notice in the top-right corner of the screen on the boat and in Bancho Sushi's prep screen will note when a party is within three days to give you time to prepare![/p]

[p][/p][p]Managing the Employees[/p][p][/p]

• [p]You can't do everything alone, and the more customers that come, the more help you'll need![/p]
• [p]Employees can be hired as you complete certain Chapter Missions:[/p]
  • [p]1st Hall Staff: Clear Chapter 3.[/p]
  • [p]1st Kitchen Staff: Clear Chapter 4.[/p]
  • [p]2nd Hall Staff: Clear Chapter 7.[/p]
  • [p]2nd Kitchen Staff: Clear Chapter 10.[/p]
• [p]A maximum of 2 Hall Staff and 2 Kitchen Staff can be active at a time, and hired staff that are inactive will be placed in the Waiting Room.[/p]
• [p]Kitchen Staff improve the speed at which dishes are prepared.[/p]
• [p]Hall Staff assist you in serving the customers.[/p]
• [p]Some Staff have special skills that can improve their performance![/p]

• [p]When Bancho Sushi is closed, press 2 to go to the staff menu and press Left Ctrl to see the list of employees to hire.[/p]
• [p]Employees will cost Gold to hire, with more talented employees (rightfully!) demanding higher pay for their service.[/p]
• [p]Select an employee and use the "Details" option to see their full information before hiring them.[/p]

• [p]Once hired, you can add Employees to an open slot in the main restaurant window.[/p]
• [p]Select the slot you wish them to fill and add them from the Waiting Room.[/p]

[p]Running Bancho Sushi[/p]

• [p]Once everything is ready, Hold "E" to open the restaurant![/p]

[p][/p][p]Customer Service[/p][p][/p]

• [p]Once the restaurant is opened, customers will enter the shop and order a dish after a short time.[/p]
• [p]As more Chapter Missions are completed, more customers will arrive to the shop each day.[/p]

[p]Green Tea[/p][p][/p]

• [p]Some customers will order Green Tea first, which will earn more Gold when served.[/p]
• [p]When you see a customer with the Green Tea speech bubble, move close to them and press Space to begin serving tea.[/p]
• [p]If the customer is not served promptly, the speech bubble will start to fill with red. If the speech bubble fills fully, then they will stop requesting tea and begin picking a dish instead.[/p]

[p][/p]

• [p]Hold S to pour the tea, and try to get as close to the green fill marker on the right side of the cup.[/p]
• [p]If the tea overflows or too little is poured, then you will receive a Bad grade, and earn no Gold.[/p]
• [p]Pouring it close to the line will result in a Good or Perfect rating, earning bonus Gold.[/p]

[p]Grate Wasabi[/p][p][/p]

• [p]Every dish costs some Wasabi to create, and it will deplete over time. If the Wasabi does run out, dish preparation will pause until it is refilled.[/p]
• [p]To replenish the Wasabi, go to the Wasabi Meter on the far right of the restaurant and press Space to begin to grate.[/p]

[p][/p]

• [p]Repeatedly press W to quickly grate fresh Wasabi and refill the meter.[/p]
• [p]The minigame will automatically close when the meter reaches 100%, and you can manually close it with ESC or C.[/p]

[p]Serving Dishes[/p][p][/p]

• [p]When a customer decides on a dish, it will appear in their word bubble, and the kitchen will automatically start to work on it.[/p]
• [p]As the customer waits for their dish, the word bubble will slowly start to fill with red as they become more and more impatient.[/p]
• [p]Once the word bubble fills with red, the customer will be angry at your slow service and leave the shop, taking their money with them![/p]

[p][/p]

• [p]When the progress bar is filled, the dish is complete and can be served to the customer.[/p]
• [p]Move over to Bancho and press Space to pick up the dish.[/p]
• [p]Serving the customer their dish will reward you with Gold![/p]

[p][/p]

• [p]While holding a dish, your speech bubble will show the dish that you're serving.[/p]
• [p]Take the dish to a customer with the same dish in their speech bubble and press Space to serve it.[/p]
• [p]You can hold only one dish at a time, and you can press Q to discard the dish (such as if the customer that wanted the dish has left).[/p]

[p]Cleaning Up[/p][p][/p]

• [p]After finishing their meal, some quite inconsiderate customers will leave their place dirty.[/p]
• [p]Move to their seat and press Space to begin cleaning.[/p]
• [p]Repeatedly press A and D to clean up the seat.[/p]

• [p]Cleaning a dirty seat will reward a small amount of Gold.[/p]
• [p]New customers will prefer clean seats over dirty ones.[/p]
• [p]If a dirty seat is not cleaned by the time a customer seated there is ready to order, they will instead leave the restaurant![/p]
• [p]Additionally, customers at dirty seats will not order Green Tea.[/p]

Hello Maplers,

We have identified an error where the Legendary 'Boss Damage +30%' Potential stat was obtainable using Violet Cubes and Unicubes.

In the v.237 update, we implemented a change where the Legendary Potential stat ‘Boss Damage +30%’ would no longer be obtainable when using Red Cube, Black Cube, Meister’s Cube, Unicube, Violet Cube, and Cube of Equality. However, we have identified an error starting in v.239 where the Potential stat was still obtainable when using only Violet Cubes and Unicubes. We sincerely apologize for this oversight.

We plan to resolve this in the v.261 update and provide compensation for affected players, as outlined below.

Converting Potential Stats for Affected Legendary Equipment

• The Legendary 'Boss Damage +30%' Potential stat will no longer be obtainable using Violet Cubes and Unicubes, and will be removed.
• For players who obtained the Legendary 'Boss Damage +30%' Potential stat using Violet Cubes and Unicubes and still have the affected equipment, the stat will be replaced with the 'Boss Damage +35%' Potential stat.
  • Equipment that obtained the Legendary 'Boss Damage +30%' Potential stat before the v.237 update will remain as is.
  • The Unique 'Boss Damage +30%' Potential stat will remain as is.

Violet Cube and Unicube Compensation Details

• Violet Cube and Unicube will be issued as compensation for affected players on July 16, 2025 (after maintenance) through the Gift Drop.
• Players who obtained the Legendary 'Boss Damage +30%' Potential stat for the first time using Violet Cubes and Unicubes will be compensated with the number of cubes used from that point onward, up to the last cube used.
  • The number of compensated cubes will be calculated based on the quantity used during each promotional sale period and within the valid usage window for those cubes.
  • The total quantity includes cubes used when the Legendary 'Boss Damage +30%' Potential stat was first obtained.
  • For Violet Cubes, the quantity will be based on when the stat appeared, not when the player selected it.
  • For Unicubes, only cubes used to obtain the stat will be considered, excluding those used just for changing the line.
