Attention Maplers,

In order to maintain the security and stability of MapleStory, we will be updating the Minimum System Requirements for MapleStory in an update scheduled for early October. Starting from that update, MapleStory will no longer be supporting operating systems below Windows 10. If you are using Windows 8.1 or below, you will be able to resume normal play after upgrading to Windows 10 or higher. For more information on upgrading Windows, please visit the Microsoft website.

[UPDATE] Maintenance has been completed. Players who have been affect upon our morning maintenance has been reset. Cash shop items have been extended by 6 hours. Please restart your Nexon Launcher or Steam and thank you for your patience and understanding while we worked to address the issues!

We are aware of an ongoing issue involving missing currencies following our latest update, to resolve the issues for affected players, we'll be performing an unscheduled emergency maintenance. The game servers will be inaccessible until further notice. We will make sure this is resolved as quickly as possible and will provide updates when we can.

Hi Maplers,

Thank you for your patience as we discussed next steps for the issue of players obtaining Night Fragments abnormally. We've concluded the investigation and have moved forward with the following:

• Night Fragments obtained abnormally by repeatedly claiming the weekly reward have been removed.
• Accounts that claimed and used an excess amount of Fragments have been issued a 7-day suspension.

We considered multiple factors in determining the threshold at which players would be affected by our decision. Most importantly, we didn't want players who may have claimed extra Night Fragments mistakenly to be affected by an issue on our end. After evaluating the situation, we determined some accounts gained Night Fragments in significant enough quantities to warrant a temporary suspension from the game.

Even if it’s for simple curiosity, the act of using a system error will be considered abnormal gameplay and we would advise Maplers to not use these when they occur. Please report it through our Player Support Center and wait until more information has been announced.

  • Resolved an issue with Character Presets where it did not apply Link Skills from Link Skills preset 1.
  • Resolved an issue where using Thunder Breaker's Sea Wave may disconnect the player.
  • Resolved an issue where Ranmaru's Fire was randomly appearing in maps.
  • Resolved an issue where using Dual Blade's Asura's Anger would cause the sound effects to loop until the player changed maps or channels.
  • Resolved an issue where there were multiple line breaks and text issues throughout the '[7000 Days] Token of Gratitude' quest.
  • Resolved an issue where the Maple Boys Chair had a 7-day duration instead of being a permanent item.
  • Resolved an issue where the temporary stats only lasted 30 days instead of 60 days for '[Title] Infinite Flame'.
    
  • Resolved an issue where the Legion Preset Coupon could still be purchased from the Legion Coin Shop and be used with no functional purpose.
