In the midst of our scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, we sometimes perform hotfixes to address a variety of bugs and issues without bringing down the servers. We will use this post as a collective hub to update our players with the hotfix details, such as when and which fix was applied. Each time there is an update, this post will be bumped up on our news page and the update will clearly be indicated with the date the hotfix was applied. We hope that this will be a useful record and helpful information for our players.

Here you'll find a list of hotfixes that addresses a variety of bugs and issues reported within the v.244 Punch King Palooza update.

Hotfixes:

• September 7, 2023
  • Resolved the issue where Top Secret Tickets from Spieglemann and the Secret Ring Shop were not dropping on other characters within the same account.

  • Boss damage contribution conditions have been added to the follow bosses:

    • Akechi Mitsuhide

  • Resolved the issue where using the Special Metamorph Potion in Hieizan Temple does not transform the player into Ayame has been fixed.
  • The cooldowns for Beast Tamer's skill Beasty Resolve, and the Hero's Will skill for Hayato and Kanna, have been reduced to 300 seconds.
  • [Updated Sep. 6] The Magician's Trial quest will properly detect the jobs of all party members, even if certain party members have not previously completed The Keystone of Masteria quest.
  • Distributed the MVP Reward Points for Marvel Machine purchases.
  • Changes were made to address the issue with Thunder Breaker's Sea Wave skill. If you are still encountering issues with the skill, please let us know through our official Discord and Forums.
  • Resolved a text issue with the white version of the Sleepy Time Face.
  • The message for failing the Chaos Vellum Challenge Mission will no longer appear when defeating other Chaos Root Abyss bosses.
  • [Updated Sep. 6] Resolved the issue of not being able to progress normally through the Tenebris questline after the Tenerbis Quest Improvements.
  • [Updated Sep. 6] Resolved the issue where Hayato characters were not receiving the quests for the World's Best Punch King event.
  • [Updated Sep. 6] Graphical issues with the Cabbit Hat have been resolved.

Event Details:

• It's time to see who's the best! Give it your all in World's Best Punch King!
• Requirement: Characters who have completed the 5th job advancement and Vanishing Journey area story. (Jett players will not be able to participate.)
• You can accept the start quest ’[Punch King] World's Best Punch King Season 1’ from the event notifier on the left side of the screen or by speaking to Champion Toben Hair located in major towns.
• You can enter the through the quest ‘[Punch King] World's Best Punch King Season 1’.
• You can prepare and challenge Punch King in the entry preparation area by talking to Champion Toben Hair.
• All current buffs are removed when you enter the entry preparation area.
• Get stat increase buffs ready in the entry preparation area and talk to Champion Toben Hair again to enter the Punch King battle map.
• You can attack the Punch King monsters during the 2-minute time limit.
• Monsters appear in a total of 12 stages. The level, defense, and HP gradually increase according to the stage.
• You can score up to 1,500 points per character, and after Punch King ends, you have to talk to Champion Toben Hair to properly register your rank.
• You will be registered in the ranking only if you score 1,500 points, and will be registered in the ranking by the order of the least amount of time it took to defeat the monsters in all stages.
• You can check the ranking through the Status Board located in major towns.
• The obtained weekly scores are reset every Wednesday at 12:00 AM UTC, and the registered rankings and personal best records are maintained.
• Weekly Score Reward
  
  • By selecting the '[Punch King] Claim Your Weekly Score Reward!' quest in the event notifier, you can earn rewards based on the score recorded once per world every week.
  • The weekly score reward can be claimed by Lv. 101+ characters or Zero characters that completed Story Quest Act 2.
  • You can obtain the following reward based on the highest score you recorded with a character within the world.
    
    • You can choose between the 3x EXP Coupon (15 min) and Toben Hair's Buff, and all rewards are transferable within the world.
  • The reward acquisition record is reset every Wednesday at 12:00 AM UTC.
  • Score
    • Below 1,000 = 1 Reward
    • 1,000 - 1,199 = 2 Rewards
    • 1,200 - 1,399 = 3 Rewards
    • 1,400 - 1,499 = 4 Rewards
    • 1,500 = 5 Rewards
• Ranking Reward
  
  • Ranking reward is distributed to a character who scored high rank in each of the 52 jobs.
  • Rankings are registered separately for Reboot and Aurora, Bera, Elysium, Luna, and Scania worlds, and the rewards are distributed separately also.
  • You may be removed from the ranking if you delete the character, do open advancement, or World Leap.
  • Ranking reward is distributed after the event period ends during the reward period.
• Ranking search on the Status Board is only available for the character who is relevant to the currently selected job.
• If the time registered in the ranking is the same, the earlier the registration time, the higher the ranking is determined.

• Weekly Score Reward (Choose one of the following up to five times dependant on your score.):
  
  • 3x EXP Coupon (15 min): Tradeable within account, 7-day duration.
  • Toben Hair’s Buff: Tradeable within account, 7-day duration. Stats: All Stats +15, Max HP/MP +1500, Attack and Magic Attack +15, Ignore Defense +15%, Boss Damage +15%, 30-minute duration.
• Ranking Rewards:

    • World’s Best Effect Coupon: Untradeable, 7-day duration. Use to receive:
      
      • World’s Best Effect: Untradeable, Permanent.
      • If you use the World's Best Effect Coupon, you can obtain an effect engraved with a pattern that symbolizes each of the 52 types of jobs. You will receive the effect that matches your character's job.
