Attention Maplers,

With the v.235 update, currently scheduled for late August, we will be updating the Minimum System Requirements for MapleStory. This change is to reflect the past several years of updates and improvements, and the increased requirements, as well as some previously supported systems no longer being supported by their parent companies. Changes to the requirements are listed below in bolded text.

What do these changes mean to you?

If you’re playing MapleStory with system requirements that are lower than the minimum specifications listed above, the game may still run, but will be more susceptible to technical issues. If you encounter technical issues while playing, please contact Customer Support and we will try to help, although there may be some issues that we are not able to resolve.

 

The Starlight Symphony is coming to a close after two fantastic months of fun, games, and prizes, and Stella wants to say goodbye by making sure everyone has the best chance of getting all the rewards they're looking for!

Event Details

• Starlight Symphony is coming to an end and Stella prepared a special encore!
• Requirements: Lv. 101 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2). Your character must have completed the "[Starlight Symphony] Starlight Chariot" quest.
• Accept the "[Starlight Symphony] An Encore Performance" quest within the star event notifier on the left side of the screen, or talk to Stella located at the Starlight Landing map.
• Once you’ve reached the Melody Coin capacity for the day, you can click "Claim Reward" button in the Starlight Symphony Encore UI to receive additional Melody Coins.
  
  • You can access the Starlight Symphony Encore UI via the "[Starlight Symphony] An Encore Performance" quest within the star event notifier.
• You can participate and receive additional Melody Coins up to 10 times during the event duration. You will receive even more coins on the 5th and 10th days.
• Starlight Symphony Encore rewards can be claimed once a day per world.
  
  • The event will reset every day at 12:00 AM UTC.
  • You can only claim the rewards with a character that reached the Melody Coin capacity for the day.
  • The character that clicks the "Claim Reward" button will receive the reward so make sure you claim it on the character you wish to receive the Melody Coins with.
• The Melody Coins obtained from the Starlight Symphony Encore event will not count towards the daily Melody Coin capacity.

MapleStory M has been available on Android and iOS mobile devices for over four years, allowing you to create characters and hunt monsters on the go. We're teaming up with them to give you a power boost in MapleStory M by playing your MapleStory characters, with daily missions to complete and the ability to assign your highest level MapleStory character to MapleStory M's Legion Synergy Grid!



Event Details:

Daily Missions

• You can now earn rewards in MapleStory M by completing daily missions in MapleStory!
• Requirements: Lv. 60 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).
• Accept the "[MapleStory M] Mobile MapleStory!" quest within the star event notifier on the left side of the screen. You will then have access to the MapleStory M Link UI.
• You can now link your MapleStory account to your MapleStory M account using the MapleStory M Link UI, instead of talking to Maple Administrator!
  
  • Click the button on the bottom of the UI to proceed with linking your accounts.
    
    • Linking accounts via Maple Administrator will only be available until July 28 at 12:59 AM UTC.
  • Please make sure your MapleStory account is linked to your MapleStory M account prior to completing the missions.
  • You must have a character Lv. 60 and above to link your MapleStory account to your MapleStory M account.
• You will be given the following daily MapleStory missions to complete:
  
  • Defeat 500 enemies near your level
  • Reach 300 Combo Kills
  • Defeat 2 Elite Monsters or Elite Champions
  • Activate Runes 2 times
  • Clear Monster Park 1 time
• Once you complete the daily missions in MapleStory, you must click the "Claim" button on the MapleStory M Link UI. Afterward, you can receive rewards on the MapleStory M account linked to the MapleStory account based on the number of missions you’ve completed.
  
  • You can claim the rewards in MapleStory M via the Mail.
• Daily mission completion is shared between your characters once a mission has been completed by a character.
• Daily missions can be completed once per MapleStory account and will reset every day at 12:00 AM UTC.
• Daily mission rewards can be claimed once per MapleStory account.

Legion Block

• You can assign your highest level MapleStory character to MapleStory M’s Legion Synergy Grid.
• The MapleStory character Legion Block can be placed without being limited by the number of characters placed on the MapleStory M Legion Synergy Grid.
• The quality of the Legion Block will increase based on the level of your highest level MapleStory character. The rank will be the same level as that of MapleStory M.
  
  • B: Lv. 60
  • A: Lv. 100
  • S: Lv. 150
  • SS: Lv. 200
• Legion Synergy Grid effect will be applied and other perks related to Legion will be provided as well.

  • All MapleStory game servers.
  • Nexon Launcher, Website Login, and Website Billing services will be unavailable from 7:00 AM PDT until 8:00 AM PDT.
• Changes and Updates (Additional Changes TBA):
  • Server Upkeep.
  • Fixed the issue where Beast Tamer's Purr Zone can be used to defeat Damien's Shadow Zone during the boss battle.
  • Fixed the issue where Kanna's Haku Reborn and Shikigami Doppelganger skills are preserved, but function incorrectly, upon reviving using the Buff Freezer item.
  • Fixed the issue where using the Red Iron Mini Safe storage in Home to deposit or withdraw items would prevent players from interacting with other Home furnishings.
  • Fixed the issue where defeating Gollux doesn't register the clear stamp for Gollux on the Maple Guide, but defeating Julieta registers the clear stamp for both Julieta and Gollux.

[Updated August 6 at 3:31 PM PDT] We are in the process of internally testing some server file fixes and are planning to open within 2 hours.

Hi Maplers,

We are currently investigating the Scania and Reboot server crashes players may have experienced in order to address it as soon as we can. However, until the server crash issues have been resolved, we've decided to bring all world servers down in the meantime while we investigate the root cause. We apologize for the downtime and will provide an update on top of this post when we can.
