Hi Maplers,

We are writing to extend our sincerest apologies for the recent inconvenience caused by the downtime that occurred on July 20, 2023. For approximately 15 minutes, all NA Reboot world channels were inaccessible. On investigation, we found that some players' gameplay records had not been saved due to this server instability. We understand how frustrating and disappointing it can be to experience disruptions in your gameplay, and we take full responsibility for the inconvenience you have endured.

In recognition of these issues, we will be providing all players who have a login record in NA Reboot world anytime between the v.243 game update on July 19th at 12:00 PM UTC, and the time of instability on July 21st at 1:48 AM UTC, the following compensation (once per account):

• Compensation Box: Untradable, 7-day duration.
  
  • 2x EXP Coupon (15 min) (x20): Untradable, 7-day duration.
  • Special Medal of Honor (x5): Untradable, 7-day duration.
  • Symbol Selector Coupon: Tradeable within account, 7-day duration.
  • Trait Boost Potion: Untradable, 7-day duration.
  • Extreme Growth Potion: Untradable, 7-day duration.
• Growth Potion Selector Coupon: Untradable, 7-day duration.
• Nodestones (x25): Untradeable, 7-day duration.

These items will be delivered during the Scheduled Minor Patch on July 27, 2023. Please be sure to claim the items from the in-game Gift Drop menu by August 9th, 2023 at 11:59 PM UTC. We are aware that the in-game item description for the Compensation Box is incorrect, please refer to the list on this post for the correct items.

Separate to the compensation above, if you have experienced a loss in progression or items, please contact our Player Support here, and we request for your patience as we do our best to assist each player as swiftly as possible.

Players who have lost their Hyper Burning Lv. 220 rewards, the selection 17-Star AbsoLab Weapon Box or 15-Star Dominator Pendant Box, will have their rewards redistributed in an upcoming maintenance. If you are one of these players, please contact our Player Support team with the subject line "Hyper Burning Lv. 220 rewards", so we can investigate and ensure you are properly compensated.

  • MapleStory will be updated to v.243.2.0
  • The Saint Label Ring will now be displayed properly when equipped on characters with a long name.
  • Furnishings can be placed and moved in the My Home content as intended.
  • Challenge missions will no longer be completable for unopened Sixth Star chapter missions.
  • Neighbors will properly be displayed in the My Home Neighbor list.
  • Mana Warp will now teleport towards a wall when the distance to the wall is shorter than the teleport distance.
  • The MapLovely Hair style no longer has dark shadows under the bangs.
  • The Half Dead Face and Ferocious Cat eyes now properly appear on the character when previewing Cash Shop Expressions.
  • Breath of the Divinity skill will properly apply the effect if used as the character enters a boss cutscene.
  • The ‘Second Energy Stone’ quest now displays the correct information.
  • The correct Maple point prices are now listed in the “I want the past chapter rewards” section of the Journey Towards the Sixth Star Guide UI.
    
  • The correct dates appear in the UI for the “Tell me about Hyper Burning Perks” section for the Sixth Star Event.
  • Weekly Guild Castle missions can no longer be repeated by a character that leaves and rejoins a guild.
  • [Updated July 26] The 6th Star Challenge Mission: Completing Arcane River/Grandis Daily 20 times has been adjusted to 12.
  • [Updated July 26] The chat dialogue box no longer disappears after Especia's Totem Slash.
  • [Updated July 27] Maple World Goddess’s Blessing skill can now be properly used when Khali's Hero of the Flora is applied, as it no longer overwrites the current skill effect.
    
  • [Updated July 26] Petite pets will now be tradable as intended after merging.
  • [Updated July 26] Attacking a Flamekeeper Siana or Corrupted Flamekeeper will no longer cause a “Block for the hack reason” error message to appear.
  • [Updated July 26] Location of the Core Room "Lobby" can now be changed in the Guild Castle UI as intended.
    

 

This summer, we're treating Miracle Time a bit differently. Throughout the summer, Miracle Time will be enabled for equipment for specific slots giving you double the chance to Rank-Up your gear once!

This Saturday, July 29, 2023, Maplers on all Worlds will have Miracle Time enabled for Gloves! Cube all all your gauntlets, vambraces, mitts, and other hand coverings all-day Saturday with the improved Rank-Up chances!

Event Details:

• During the noted periods, you will be able to Cube away on Equipment for the Gloves slot with Glowing Cubes, Bright Cubes, and Bonus Glowing Cubes, as well as Bonus Bright Cubes and Violet Cubes if you have them, with double the chance to rank-up equipment once when cubing!
• During the Miracle Time period, using a Cash Cube to upgrade an item to Legendary Rank will activate the "Double Miracle Time Blessing" buff for the map.
• Equipment for other slots does not benefit from this instance of the Miracle Summer event.
• Keep an eye out for more Miracle Summer events throughout the summer for chances to cube equipment for different item slots!

We are currently investigating the issues with NA Reboot channels that started occurring approximately around 7:00 PM PDT on July 20, 2023. Any updates will be added to the top of this post. Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

In the midst of our scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, we sometimes perform hotfixes to address a variety of bugs and issues without bringing down the servers. We will use this post as a collective hub to update our players with the hotfix details, such as when and which fix was applied. Each time there is an update, this post will be bumped up on our news page and the update will clearly be indicated with the date the hotfix was applied. We hope that this will be a useful record and helpful information for our players.

  • Credit is now properly given for completing the Arcane River Special Content when refusing the Weekly EXP reward.
  • Fixed the issue where certain Sixth Star Chapter 3 Challenge Missions could be completed before the start of Chapter 3.
• July 19, 2023
  • The quest 'Unlimited Growth! Hyper Burning!' no longer crashes the client after completing the dialogue.
