Snipers,

Patch 1.20 has been deployed and includes a number of fixes, including fixing a bug where the player could have no items in their loadout, an issue where medals were not always tracked correctly when completing a level on Authentic difficulty and rebalancing the damage over distance fall-off for a number of weapons.

M1A1 Gov. – Corrected typo in description for the 30RD magazine

Welrod – Corrected the unlock requirement text for the ‘Reinforce Overpressure’ Receiver attachment

Nagant M1895 – Improved animation displayed whilst carrying a body and using this weapon

Erma.36 – Improved the aesthetics of the Engraving skin on this weapon

.32 Ruby

  • Fixed some parts of the grip that displayed incorrectly as pink
  • Improved the holding animation for female characters using this weapon


Armaguerra OG-44

  • Reduced model clipping when aiming down the weapon sights
  • Improved the appearance of the Liberation DLC skin on this weapon
PIAT (temporary weapon)

  • Improved animation when aiming at harsh angles
  • Fixed an issue where kills with this weapon displayed incorrectly in the Kill-feed
ZK-420S – Fixed an issue in which the DLC Liberation Skin would obscure iron sights
Campaign Level Specific Bug Fixes

Behind Enemy Lines

  • Fixed an issue where the level would not render outside the house in the Outro cutscene
  • Fixed an issue where the cracks on the dam could display twice in a cutscene


Dead Drop

  • Improved collision boxes to help the player mount curbs when carrying bodies
  • Fixed an enemy going out of bounds on the map
  • The ‘Search Vertigo’s Apartment’ objective now correctly updates once the player reaches the first floor of Vertigo’s apartment
  • Removed the invisible wall by the zipline near to the underground entrance to the town
  • Removed a little box from on top of a set of sandbag walls
  • Fixed a bug where the lighting on Harry when he is in an underground area is brighter than it’s meant to be
  • Improved the collision box for a few small pillars at the ends of walls
  • Improved the collision on a few sets of stairs to make it easier to go up or down them and to match up with the players legs better
  • Fixed the characters leg position when on the wooden platform near the start of the level
  • Improved the collision of a set of climbable vines to now make the character closer to the wall
  • Fixed a lighting bug on a wall outside the library
  • Removed the invisible wall by the stone wall near the start of the level
  • Improved the rendering on the fountain in the church gardens
  • Adjusted stairs across the map to allow players to walk up them smoother when crouched
  • Improved visual quality of the stairs by the main fort
  • Fixed an area where the player character partially clips through the floor


Sonderzuge Sabotage

  • Improved certain areas where collision was incorrectly blocking rockets and grenades
  • Adjusted some windows in the train station to improve players ability to tag through them
  • Fixed an issue where the main objective marker was not displaying on the mission preparation screen
  • Improved the AI pathing of the Kill List target when he returns from combat state to passive state
  • Fixed an issue where the objective marker would not update as the player gets close to some documents as part of the main objective
  • Fixed some cases where stone texture decals were mis-applied to windows
  • Improved some stairs around the map to allow the player to walk up/down them smoother
  • Made improvements to how dialogue plays when resuming a saved game
  • Fixed a case where dropped weapons could fall through a metal walkway (near the left-side bridge)


Collision Course

  • Fixed a case where an enemy AI would run off a crane to his death once damaged
  • Removed an inaccessible bottle pick-up
  • Fixed a case where the co-op partner could spawn behind a locked gate when using an alternate start location
  • Fixed an issue where the mission boundary warning displayed at the exfiltration point
  • Fixed cases where the player character could not take cover on certain stone walls
  • Fixed some cases where players could not walk up stairs smoothly
  • Fixed a case where some birds float above the ground
  • Fixed an issue in which enemies could shoot through some walls


Devil’s Cauldron

  • Fixed some places where the player character could not take cover against some sandbags and walls
  • Fixed a visible hole in the floor geometry at a road checkpoint near the guard house
  • Fixed a couple of cases where enemy AI could see and shoot the player character through walls/rocks
  • Fixed a case where crouching when using a zipline could cause the player to fall into the lake
  • Disabled dropping from the zipline over the lake to prevent players entering an out of bounds area


Assault on Fort Rouge

  • Fixed a couple of issues with the AI pathing of Uwe Schoene to ensure he approaches the correct location for the Kill List challenge and will still path correctly after being alerted
  • Fixed a couple of cases where enemies/enemy bodies and a truck would float above the ground slightly
  • Improved collision for throwable items in certain parts of the level
  • Fixed a bug where a tank could disappear when it was destroyed
  • Fixed a visible hole in the floor geometry in the tunnel that leads to the castle basement
  • Repositioned some crates that were visibly floating in the Abbey
  • Fixed an issue where players could climb under the floor near a broken part of the castle wall
  • Amended the lighting on the stairs leading to the first floor of the town hall
  • Fixed some smoke VFX that was rendering incorrectly


Lock, Stock and Barrels

  • Fixed an issue where players could place a satchel charge on doors and then use a key to open it, now placing a satchel commits to this method of opening the door and removes the other option
  • Fixed several issues that occurred when alerting the Kill List target during his drinking animation
  • Fixed an issue where the objective marker remained present after killing all of the Elite Snipers as part of the optional objective
  • Fixed an issue in which enemies would spot/shoot the player through a wall from the Western Farmhouse alternate start point


End of the Line

  • Improved throwables collision around certain parts of the level
  • Added collision to a metal railing to prevent the player character passing through it
  • Removed a satchel charge from an inaccessible room
  • Deleted a pink texture visible from the lookout ruins spawn point
  • Fixed a visible hole in the floor geometry in one of the bunkers
  • Fixed an issue where Axis invaders could not reach a certain location that the host player could
  • Fixed an issue where the player character could not drop down into a trench
  • Improved one of the Axis spawn locations to avoid the player getting stuck


Epilogue

  • Visually improved the headlight on the motorbike in the cutscene where Kruger gets on a bike


DLC: Lights, Camera, Achtung!

  • Improved throwables collision around certain parts of the level
  • Fixed an issue where one of the cables remained incorrectly after destroying the radio tower
  • Fixed some cases where invisible walls incorrectly stopped the player character
  • Fixed some cases where players could not walk upstairs smoothly whilst crouched
  • Improved the accessibility of some ladders that were either inaccessible or difficult to use
  • Fixed an issue where the Propaganda poster collectable would sometimes display in a low resolution
  • Fixed a case where players could climb on a crate that was unintended
  • Fixed some climbing areas in and around the church
  • Blocked player character going prone in the water in the cave at the default level start


DLC: Vercors Vendetta

  • Added improved translations for the objective flavour text in non-English Languages
  • Removed ability to incorrectly access a zipline whilst stood on top of a bridge
  • Fixed an issue where the player character can get stuck near one of the workbenches
  • Corrected the names and binocular tag info for the Sniper enemies
  • Removed floating sandbag
  • Added sound effect for approaching the propaganda poster collectible
  • Fixed an issue where some birds did not fly away when approached
  • Fixed a hole in the map that allowed players to fall through the floor
  • Fixed some cases where invisible walls incorrectly stopped the player character
  • Fixed an issue where Harry’s dialogue could get interrupted by other dialogue
  • Fixed an issue where enemy AI failed to wake up the Kill List target if he was knocked unconscious
  • Fixed an issue where enemy AI dialogue could get interrupted buy the Kill List target’s dialogue
  • Improved the pathing of the Kill List target so he does not walk through another AI after the conversation
  • Fixed a case where an enemy AI was floating when sat down

  • Fixed an issue where the medal counter would update incorrectly if the player quit during the outro cutscene

  • Increased the difficulty of the longshot medal to be more consistent with other levels
  • Fixed an issue where AI clipped through a barrel when searching for the player character
  • Fixed an issue where an enemy AI’s idle animation did not line up with in-level objects
  • Improved stealth consistency when hiding in bluebells
  • Fixed an issue with shadows popping in/out near the water wheel
  • Improved climbing accessibility around the Nebelwerfers
  • Adjusted landed parachute models to look more realistically placed
  • Improved the framerate in the hidden resistance stash (where one of the workbenches is)
  • Improved sound masking throughout the level


Propaganda Specific Bug Fixes

General

  • Improved the way medals are displayed based on the difficulty selected so that it’s clear what score is required to achieve a gold medal
  • Fixed an issue where medals would incorrectly display as locked on the results screen
  • Fixed a UI issue where ‘Un De Trop’ displayed even if it wasn’t selected
La Résistance

  • Fixed an issue where the timer would start incorrectly when the player character hangs from a wall
  • Fixed some lighting issues on the ground in several locations


Libération

  • Added a shadow to the battlement wall


Prendre Le Maquis

  • Fixed an issue where you could hang on a walkway with no way to climb back up


Un De Trop

  • Fixed an issue with a missing texture


Multiplayer Level Specific Bug Fixes

General

  • Fixed an issue in which enemies would not spawn in during Survival on wave 6
  • Improved the tracking of the ‘Lightened Assembly’ Receiver attachment to include over-the-shoulder kills
  • Improved text spacing on the UI that details how players were killed


Deathmatch St.Raymond

  • Improved visibility of Café signs
  • Removed the ability to climb in an area that was unintended
  • Removed unnecessary climb prompt on top of a door
  • Fixed an issue where the mini-map showed the exterior map whilst indoors
  • Fixed some lighting issues in the ‘La Brasserie’ building
  • Stopped player character walking through a door in the ‘La Brasserie’ building
  • Removed an unnecessary climb prompt in the ‘Café du Matin’ building
  • Stopped player character being able to walk up some piles of boxes
  • Stopped player character being able to move partially into a stone pillar
  • Fixed some lighting issues on the floor near Vertigo’s apartment
  • Fixed an issue with missing café signs
Deathmatch Destroyed Town

  • Improved collision to the furniture in an attic to stop the player being pushed through the floor
  • Added the ability to vault over a wooden box that previously couldn’t
  • Removed the ability to vault over a small section of wall in the northeast corner of the wall, to stop the player having with the nearby debris
  • Fixed an issue with a shadow by the town hall so it now appears correctly
  • Added shadows to a few bushes that were missing them
  • Fixed an issue where the player would not grab the edge of a ledge when moving off a ledge near a zipline
  • Removed an unneeded climb prompt near the burning car
  • Improved the climb interaction area on a wall to stop the resulting landing hitting a wooden box
  • Fixed an issue where the players legs could slightly go into a table whilst vaulting over it
  • Fixed an issue where after climbing to the top of some vines the player would not successfully stand on the ledge above
  • Fixed an issue where vaulting over an indoor table would briefly show the outside map on the minimap
  • Fixed various stair issues including collision and minor placement adjustments
  • Fixed various issues with throwable not behaving as expected with the environment (getting caught on a piece of environment or going through areas they shouldn’t)


Deathmatch Chateau Grounds

  • Removed an invisible ledge that was next to one of the Chateau’s balconies
  • Fixed an issue where the player would not grab the edge of a ledge when moving off the side of a balcony
  • Improved the collision of one of the tables in the kitchen to more closely match its physical shape


SE5 Map – No Cross Flooded Village

  • Fixed an issue where the camera could clip through wooden planks covering some windows
  • Fixed an issue on a path where the textures didn’t align correctly


No Cross Alpine Gorge

  • Fixed an issue where being at a specific location certain objects in the distance wouldn’t appear
Survival Specific Bug Fixes

SE5 Map – Survival Pest control

  • Fixed an issue where ‘Duke’ operation wouldn’t unlock for clients after completing the ‘Baron’ operation
Survival Fortress Command

  • Fixed an issue where a vehicle could become stuck out of the level when playing online
  • Removed an invisible wall near the church
  • Improved the collision box on a gravestone to more accurately match its physical shape
  • Fixed a few pillars on a building as their bases were slightly above the ground
  • Fixed a few windowsills that were missing their textures
  • Fixed a set of small steps that finished a little higher then intended
  • Collision added to a barbed wire fence next to a mission boundary


Survival Mark of the Eagle

  • Fixed an issue where a stone wall couldn’t be vaulted over
  • Improved collision with curbs to make them easier to walk over

Intel from HQ can reveal the next phase of your mission for Sniper Elite: Resistance. The Striking Range Mission, Weapons and Skins pack adds an incredible new set of challenging objectives for the main campaign, as well as two new weapons, two character skins and a weapon skin.

Also known as the Tokarev self-loading rifle, the SVT-40 is a Soviet semi-automatic battle rifle that features a refined, light design with a folding magazine release. Whereas the Mars Automatic Pistol was billed as the most powerful handgun in the world at the time.

You may have noticed that a new update has recently been deployed. The Vercors Vendetta Mission and Weapons Pack provides elite sharpshooters with a brand new mission that continues the Sniper Elite: Resistance story, along with new weapons for your arsenal.

Allied HQ have also launched an additional free content pack for all Sniper Elite: Resistance players, Fairburne’s Armoury Weapons and Skins Pack and two free new multiplayer maps.

Despite destroying the primary Nazi stockpile of the deadly nerve agent Kleine Blume, one final cache survived! This stash has now been loaded into artillery shells ready for an imminent launch against multiple targets throughout France. With millions of civilian lives at stake, Harry Hawker launches a daring attempt to neutralise the remaining Wunderwaffe before they can be deployed.



To help you complete your mission, the M1941 Rifle and Armaguerra OG-44 will be added to your arsenal. Used by the U.S Marine Corps, the M1941 is a powerful rifle with a 10-round high-capacity rotary magazine, requiring fewer reloads. Whereas the Italian Armaguerra OG-44 is a submachine gun that has a recoil mechanism housed above the barrel, resulting in extremely low vertical recoil.

The M.1903 Rifle was the sniper rifle of choice for troops during the Allied Invasion of Europe. Sporting incredible range and muzzle velocity, this is a deadly addition to any sniper’s arsenal. The iconic M1A1 Gov. submachine gun delivers lethal .45ACP rounds. But you will need to get up close and personal as the SMG’s lethality is balanced by its heavy weight and limited iron sight visibility.

Patch 1.10 has arrived and includes a number of fixes that include a fix for several cases where Ghost kills were failing to register when killing enemies stealthily without alerting other enemies, an issue in which Kill Target Uwe Schoene would not return to the fireplace and a bug where kills were not tracked properly for unlocking the Overpressure Rounds Magazine on the Nagant M1895.
