The BioFusion Christmas Tournament is a one-day event to see who will win a Meta Quest 3 and a permanent portrait in our Hall of Fame! The day of the tournament is Sunday, December 17, 2023. The BioFusion Christmas Event will go from December 15, 2023, to January 15, 2024. Join us to earn a $20 Steam gift card and a chance to win a $100 gift card.

- Winners will be direct-messaged in Discord. It is crucial you post your Steam name in our Discord channel “giveaways”. Otherwise, we may not be able to identify you in Discord.
- If you are not from North America, you may experience server lag.
- If you want to exchange gift cards for a different currency, please let us know in advance. We will look for the Steam gift card with the currency of your choice.

Halloween Update
[h2]Witch Mini-boss[/h2]
Introducing our first seasonal mini-boss! The witch attacks your towers with 4 times the damage vs the harpy. Its flight pattern avoids some anti-air tower volleys making it essential for players to kill. Gang up on the Witch but don't ignore the spores!
[h2]Pumpkin Gun and Enemies[/h2]
For Halloween, your pistol has become a pumpkin gun. Shooting enemies turns them into pumpkin heads! Your pumpkin gun also does 2 times damage against Witches.
[h2]Light Saber Skin[/h2]
After 2 hours of playing in an action scene, you will be granted the Light Saber skin. You can equip it in the main menu. It has new animations and audio, This and the Early Access Bow skin are our thank you for being a playtest/early access supporter :)

This first version of the new Quest menu keeps track of the witches killed and minutes played but soon it we will be introducing many more relevant quests with meaningful rewards.

- Fixed bug where tower gas damage DNA was severely OP.
- Beginner coins are now given in all scenes.

- Mag size now upgrades on guns with magazines.*
- You can now grab ammo from all holsters.*
- Manual reload now allows continuous fire.*
- Arrows now extinguish flame when aiming down sight.*
- Starting as a strategist then switching to soldier, evolving failed if soldier tutorial not done.
- Added manual reload to the tutorial
- Switching hands bugged other player's hand animation
- Evolving 9 common DNA twice into 1 rare DNA sometimes failed.
- Saudi Arabian calendar caused a crash.
- While in the building tutorial, players still had weapons equipped.
- The boat could get stuck in river leg 2 if a cascade is entered diagonally.
- Manual reload could cause a stuck hand.

Playtesters that play at least 2 hours will get the exclusive Playtest Saber skin!
The playtest will officially start on August 18, 2023 at 10am (Pacific Standard Time) end on September 30,2023 at 12 midnight (PST). It may last few days longer depending on the bugs you uncover.
Due to cost constraints, servers will be up 10am to 12midnight (PST) every day. Join our Discord for updates. https://discord.gg/xGE78wk
Playtesting will have 5 maps: Hangar, Orchard, River, Underground River, and Forest, plus the required Tutorial scene. Attack City and Defend City will be added next year.
During the playtest you are allowed to share, record, or broadcast playtest content or gameplay. However, aspects of BioFusion may change between playtest and launch, which may cause captured footage to become outdated.
BioFusion is server authoritative. Many mechanics are client-predicted for added immersion but there will be small delays when doing stuff like building, telekinesis, or buying ammo, because the client must ask the server’s permission.
We would love to gather as much feedback as possible from you so don't hold back and let us know about your thoughts on the game, the mechanics and all things that come to your mind. Your progress will be reset at the end of playtesting to start everyone with a clean slate on launch. If you have played Ash of Legends, the progress does not transfer to BioFusion. However, if you own the early access bow skin in Ash of Legends, it will be available for all to see in BioFusion.
