Strategy satire Heretic's Fork is about keeping lost souls in Hell


Since joining the good ship RPS I've had to readjust to the daily reality of a corporate inbox, overflowing with internal Reedpop messages about Best Practices, expense claim guidance and other fiendish gambits designed to keep me from the holy labour of finding new games and telling you about them. On absent-mindedly firing up one such new game this morning, Heretic's Fork, there was a terrible moment when I thought Reedpop had outsourced its middle management to Pandemonium.

Demo update 0.1.8 - Small updates, QoL

Hi all! Quick little update here to address some issues and improve QoL. This update should make it clearer what structures benefit from what stats, as well as making it clear what item cards will affect what structures.

* Modifier list now displays when hovering over a structure
* When using item cards, a line is drawn to all structures that will be effected.
* A border appears around the structure information bars, to more easily identify the quality
* Camera is more zoomed out by default, and is more centered
* Left clicking a card from storage area with card quick-use enabled will use a card, rather than moving it to the hand
* New boot sequence
* Updated localization text
* Increased size of sinner escape animation
* Reduced sinner damage ramp up in demo
* Sunder tower no longer benefits from attack speed, but has higher base attack speed
* Ensured all towers properly benefit from the correct modifiers
* All demo challenges should work correctly
* Structure card lines now correspond to their qualities
* All lines that are drawn from cards now draw when you are hovering over them, as well as when playing them
