The battlefields of Auraxis have exploded since the Escalation update launched, and we're giving ex-Briggs players looking to get closer to the action a one-time opportunity to transfer their characters from SolTech to Connery!

Starting today, Tuesday, March 17, through Tuesday, March 31, any player that wants to transfer their character from SolTech to Connery will have their request granted if they open up a Customer Service ticket requesting a character move within that window. Be certain of your choice before opening a ticket - after the transfer, your character will be locked on the server. You may want to create a new character and hop into a few battles on Connery before you decide on transferring any of your main characters.

When exactly will SolTech -> Connery server transfers take place
We will perform the first round of character transfers during a scheduled downtime on Wednesday, March 25. All requests that we receive between now and Tuesday, March 24 at 6:00 PM PDT will be included in this transfer. The second (final) round of transfers will take place on Wednesday, April 1 at 6:00 AM PDT. All requests will need to be in by Tuesday, March 31 at 6:00 PM PDT to be included.

Will I lose the stats I’ve earned playing PlanetSide 2 after transferring servers? 
Everything you’ve done in game will transfer with you including kills, score, etc…

Will I retain my items and certifications? 
All progress you’ve gained and items purchased will go with you to your new servers. 

What will happen to my Outfit if only one/some of us decide to transfer? 
If you decide to transfer servers, you need to create or join a new Outfit on your new server.

What happens if naming conflicts arise due to the transfers? 
Your character name is unique to your account and will remain the same. This is true of Outfit names as well (no two Outfits can have the same name, even on different servers).

What will happen to my Friends List when I transfer?
Your friends list will remain intact.

Will there be an option to purchase server transfers in the future? 
We currently do not have plans to offer any server transfers beyond the SolTech-Connery transfers offered in the stated two-week period.

What exactly happens to my character after the transfer period ends? 
Your character will become a permanent resident of whatever server they are on as soon as the transfer is complete.

Welcome to Outfit Wars, soldier!

Outfit Wars is a new monthly tournament cycle for competitive Outfits in PlanetSide 2 introduced in the Escalation Game Update. The Enlistment Phase for aspiring Outfits to opt-in for Qualification starts TODAY at the following times for each server region:

• Connery (US West): Friday, March 13 at 8:00 PM PDT
  
• Emerald (US East): Friday, March 13 at 5:00 PM PDT / 8:00 PM EDT
  
• SolTech (Japan/Asia): Friday, March 13 at 4:00 AM PDT / 8:00 PM JST
  
• Cobalt/Miller (Europe): Friday, March 13 at 12:00 PM PDT / 7:00 PM GMT
  

Only Outfit Leaders and Outfit members with Expedition Crafting Privileges can sign-up their Outfit during Enlistment, which can be done via the new Outfit Wars tab on the in-game menu. There is no limit to how many Outfits can sign-up in each server region during Enlistment.

The Qualification Phase for enlisted Outfits begins on March 23, and at the end of Qualification, the top Outfits from each Empire and region will square off in a series of epic 48v48v48 skirmishes on Desolation, an all-new Asteroid continent built for competitive play. To the victor go the spoils, recognition, and glory eternal!
