We're extending the Playtest!

[p]Hey Tasklings! [/p][p]Firstly an absolutely massive thank you from us, it's been amazing to see the reception of our game in the PC Gaming Show and all the feedback from the playtest!

Now, we’ve got some exciting news, thanks to your amazing support and the huge number of players jumping in, we’re keeping the playtest going a little longer!  [/p][p]We’re extending the playtest until Sunday so you can keep playing with friends and new rival Tasklings so you can continue to cause the right amount of chaos. 😄

[/p][p]Keep the feedback coming, keep sharing your clips, and most importantly… keep having fun. We’re watching, listening, and already cooking up improvements based on what you’ve told us.

If you haven’t already, make sure you join the Discord, particularly if you want to be involved in future tests! We might even have some small exclusive play sessions with the devs in the near future to test new stuff!

[/p][p]Thanks for making Task Time such a blast - now go finish those tasks (or sabotage somebody else’s..😉)!

Small Playtest Patch Notes

[p]Hey Tasklings!

We’ve been polishing up a few things that were looking a little janky (in the none fun way) in the first 24 hours of testing. Nothing earth shattering this round, but some good quality of life fixes to keep the round timers ticking smoothly.

[/p]
  • [p]First steps toward localization! Initial updates added for French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Brazilian-Portuguese. (Some bits are still placeholder, thank you for being patient while we teach our Tasklings new words!) [/p]
  • [p]The MP3 player in the Seaside pink house is no longer a giant grey mystery cube. It is once again a music player. [/p]
  • [p]You can now pick up objects underwater in the School swimming pool. [/p]
  • [p]The reception desk computer screen in the Police Station now has a material. [/p]
  • [p]Fixed a frame rate issue that could creep in if you hang out in the lobby for a loooong time. [/p]
[p]That’s all for now, but we’ve got more in the pipeline. [/p][p]As always, thanks for playing, testing, and occasionally breaking everything in the best way possible!

Please all keep reporting any bugs and all your feedback in the Discord - https://discord.gg/TaskTime

Stay mischievous, Tasklings! [/p]
