Our team is actively preparing for the Wall World: Deep Threat release, which is why we have made this update for the base game.

This update is mostly a technical patch, with its main purpose being to lay the foundation for the upcoming release because initially, the architecture of Wall World hadn’t been adapted for future DLCs.

Several planned improvements for the DLC will also be incorporated into the main game. Here are the details of these changes:

• Changed the balance for the seismic generator, induction amplifier, and bomb, making them more useful.
  
• Changed the animation for speeding up spider jump preparation.
  
• Increased the respawn time for portable devices.

As we previously announced in the news (1, 2, 3), with the release of the Deep Threat DLC, the base price of Wall World will increase. For the sake of more transparency with the community, today we want to share the details of the pricing change.

We're spending a significant amount of resources not only on game development and updates, but also on R&D (by the way, have you seen some of the first Wall World concepts yet?). We are raising the cost of the base version of the game by $2 to keep the team sustainable and so that we can continue to deliver you new games.

The new Deep Threat DLC will bring to Wall World an amount of content comparable to half of the base game. At the same time, the price of the DLC will be low so that as many Wall World fans as possible will get to play it.

Buy the game before the changes, or in the future by waiting for Steam sale.

We are working like bees creating this DLC for Wall World. And we want to show some things we’ve already done.

Wall World: Deep Threat will bring you new epic tiers and biomes, dangerous bosses, powerful weapons, helpful relics and upgrades, and even more secrets buried in the Wall. Prepare to drill really deep!

Here is just a small piece of everything that awaits you in the Deep Threat DLC:

Among the new ones – a zyrex with ranged attacks, moving only by jumping:

One of them is the Chemical Weapon, which fires gas bombs in a ballistic trajectory. The bombs explode on impact with enemies and leave clouds of gas at the site of the explosions, causing minor damage to enemies:

Take a look at Jump in Place. With this upgrade, the player gains the ability for the spider to jump off the wall and fall to the same place, damaging nearby enemies:

Regarding the bosses, all we can say is that you should be brave and well-armored, because their rage and power increase after each fight.

One of the bosses you'll encounter is named Zeus. Despite both of you being pretty similar, don't underestimate their might:
