My dream setup News

Hey all :)

We decided to post a new update as a beta. Before we make it public we would like to hear feedback from you.

Testing this beta patch
If you'd like to help out and opt into the beta, go to MDS in your Steam Library, then Properties → Betas → and enter anniversaryupdate2.

[h2]What's new[/h2]

• Items size UI added
  
• The game's settings have been changed to include a lot of long awaited options
  
• Items within categories are now properly sorted (all items of the same type will be displayed together. There will no longer be a situation where one PC case is at the top of the list and another at the bottom)
  
• Security Monitor item now has ability to upload images to it.
  
• Plinths that were supposed to have lights inside - now have them
  
• All wall items now have proper collision with floor
  
• Items UI now has higher sorting order then selected item options
  
• The disappearance of doors and windows should now be gone
  
• MacOS image upload fixed

The event's deadline is on Friday, February 28th, No more setups will be accepted after that. We'll then review the submissions before announcing the winners.

We are excited to announce the second part of the Winter Update for MDS, which introduces 81 new items!

We've added 81 new free items for everyone. As usual most of these items were chosen based on your suggestions. So thank you very much for your active support. Together we make the game better!

[h2]Monitor items[/h2]

This update also introduces the ability to place items on top of PC monitors, laptops, and TVs.

• PC case with custom image uploading temporarily removed the ability to upload an image

Changes:

• Optimized game size and game loading speed
  
• Fixed an issue where transparent materials became opaque
  
• Dark mode icon now displays correctly on all screen resolutions
  
• Fixed an issue where two yellow wallpapers were the same color
  
• Fixed one of the new materials for PC cases, now the glass color can be changed
  
• Fixed an issue where the room would move off-center after a quick ESC key press
  
• People with broken save files will now be able to start the game instead of getting stuck on the loading screen
  
• Auto-save frequency changed from 10 minutes to 20 minutes
  
• New items placed on walls now have correct collisions by default
  
• Scrollbar of room saves now behaves normally even if controller is connected
