A new, revolutionary tool is available now - your work in the scrapyard much easier. Thanks to the powerful magnet mounted on the crane, you will be able to quickly lift and sort heavy elements, which will speed up the entire demolition process.

This new and innovative solution will allow you to manage materials more effectively, increasing the productivity and efficiency of your work. With the magnet on the crane, ship demolition will become much easier and less time-consuming, allowing you to better use your time and resources.

This patch fixes many problems that you reported to us and also improves overall stability and performance of the game.

We know that you have recently reported bugs that you have encountered in the game - we are looking into each of them separately to better look at what could have caused the problem during the game.

We would like to thank you for your involvement and feedback, as well as apologize for encountering bugs during the game.

New Patch Available on Unstable-Branch

[h3]The new update for the "unstable" branch is now ready for download ✅[/h3]

[h3]If you would like to try and check out the upcoming update before its official release - we strongly encourage you to do so! 🙌[/h3]

⚠️ This is still a work-in-progress build, but we’re taking another step to develop the game further. Your feedback is essential in helping us fine-tune the game and squash any remaining issues. We truly appreciate your support!

[h3]📌 How to get to the "unstable" branch? Please follow a step-by-step guide on how to do it[/h3]
1️⃣ Make sure you own Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 in your Steam library.
2️⃣ Find the game in your library and right-click on it.
3️⃣ Select Properties.
4️⃣ Open the Betas tab.
5️⃣ Select the “unstable-default” version from the dropdown menu.
6️⃣ Enter the password: ShipTest1235




[h3]📌 FEEDBACK - You can use the new feature on our Discord and report any bugs you encounter - short instructions below[/h3]

If you encounter any crashes, please send us your crash logs through our dedicated #crashlogs-ticket channel on Discord. Your reports help us identify and fix issues faster!

How to Send Crash Logs:
1️⃣ Open the Windows Start menu and type %appdata% into the search bar.
2️⃣ Once the folder appears, navigate back from “Roaming” to the AppData directory.
3️⃣ Go to Local/ShipGraveyard2/Saved/Crashes and locate the most recent folder.
4️⃣ Zip all the files inside that folder.
5️⃣ Send the zipped files to us through the #crashlogs-ticket channel on our Discord.

Patch 1.5.0

[h2]Dear Players,[/h2]
[h3]Over the past few weeks, we've released multiple updates to the unstable beta version of the game, addressing memory leaks, crashes, and other gameplay issues reported by the community.

This patch fixes many of those problems while also improving overall stability and performance. The latest beta version has received a lot of positive feedback, confirming these enhancements.


We're continuously working to support the game, so if you encounter any issues, don't hesitate to reach out on Steam or Discord—we’ll do our best to address them.[/h3]

SINGLEPLAYER
  • Memory leak causing crashes & bad performance after longer period of playing FIXED
  • Crashes fixes (still WIP, it's a long proccess to eliminate everything properly)
  • Graphical improvements, better lighting, more vibrant colors and no more permanent fog
  • More optimalization of the game's engine
  • Mobile cargo not counting materials in them for contracts after save->load FIXED
  • Safes can no longer be picked up "by accident" with multipickup before they're opened
  • Gas hazard effects staying mid-air sometimes FIXED
  • Reset to defaults not working for "controls" settings FIXED
  • Multi-pickup max upgrade level now collects more elements at once
  • "Get off cranable element!" pop-up appearing on screen all the time while crane is working FIXED
  • Floating cities polish & improvements
  • Base game ships polish & improvements
  • DLC ships optimizations
  • Floating mobile cargo after destryoing floors underneath FIXED


MULTIPLAYER

  • Pop up notifying of directx change if you have crashes now has “do not show again” option
  • "click if you're stuck" doesn't work if you're in a truck - fixed
  • Better performance for the client (still WIP, will be improved & worked on further)
  • Physics desync between host & client improvements (still WIP, will be improved & worked on further)
  • Client's sporadic rubberbanding effect reduction
  • Removing "text block" from player list
