Patch Update: Version 0.1.2.4

A game breaking bug popped up from the last update. This has now been fixed.

- When buying books on day 2, the UI would throw an error and you'd have a beautiful array of cursor paw prints. It was very pretty, but alas it had to go.

Patch Update: Version 0.1.2.3

Hi All,

I present to you 🄁 the latest patch filled with a bunch of fixes.

Bear in mind, I’m still working on some additional fixes while progressing with Chapter Two.

As always, if you come across a bug, please feel free to contact me via the Steam Community Hub, Discord or Google form.
Here's what's new:

Bug Fixes
• Daniel Day 3 - This was the most impacting issue. On day three, you couldn't give Daniel a donut, become friends, or receive a new entry in the journal. This has now been fixed.

 • Colliders and GameObjects - Tweaked colliders, changed active status on some objects and readjusted objects that were floating a little above the ground.

 • Animation - Children playing in the park would move up or down on the Y axis. Have added a temp fix to stop this from happening. Will be improved in a future update.

 • Spelling / Grammar - Fixed some typos and grammar that had been discovered.

 • Wolf Sense - tweaked how this was being used. Now it will show all interactables, rather than just case specific.

 • Interactable - made the coffee machine interactable on all days.

 • UI Menus - Turned off access to the pause/tablet/inventory UI while an activity window is up.

 • Wolf Metre - This didn’t fire up a couple of times when it should have. This has been fixed.

 • Donuts - The cafe now only sells donuts. Sorry all, the cafe is now out of stock of any other pastry.

 • The light is on - At the swamp, the light is now actually on when Lachie makes the comment on Day 2.

We're always working to improve your experience and fix bugs as soon as they're found. Thanks again for your support and feedback as we continue to make improvements.

DevLog #3: Chapter Two's Storyline

Hi everyone,

Everything is still on track for a September release!

Today, I'm sharing details about Lachie's next supernatural case.
Chapter Two's Case Revealed
The time has finally come to drop the scoop on the case for Chapter Two, Drunken Crimson Witness.

In the wake of a cult hit film, 'Tainted Bloodlust', Lachie heads to Bittenborough, a town buzzing with tales of vampires and mystery. As tours and enthusiasts flood the streets, Lachie must sift through the hype to find the truth. Is there genuine vampire activity, or is it all just a clever publicity stunt?

Check out the first draft of the flyer for the Weekend Tour.
Patch Updates
Currently, I have a couple of fantastic game dev student interns on the team as part of their studies. With their assistance, a lot of bugs are being found and squashed as we speak. You may see some patch updates over the next few weeks. I’m beyond grateful for their help.
New Update Tracking System
As the project continues to develop, I’ve noticed my current tracking system getting a little cluttered. So, I’ll be changing things up a little. You can now go to a Google site and monitor documents there: https://sites.google.com/view/thelastwerewolf-updatetracker/home
The old document is still available to be viewed, however, I will remove it from public view when Chapter Two is released.

Patch Update: Version 0.1.2.2

Hello Everyone,

It seems there was a tiny hiccup in the latest patch, version 0.1.2.1.

A game object was inadvertently left on. While it doesn't cause any gameplay issues, I understand that it could disrupt the immersion of the game, which is certainly not my intention.

So, I've quickly corrected this oversight and have rolled out the new patch, version 0.1.2.2
