Patch Update: Version 0.1.2.9

[h3]Main Menu Revamp[/h3]
In an effort to align with the marketing material, I've given the main menu a fresh new look. The options have also been rearranged to reduce clutter.

[h3]Minor Bug Fixes[/h3]

Main Menu Crash: Trying to return to the main menu from the tablet caused a crashing bug. This has been fixed.

Flower Picking on Day Three: The elusive flower-picking bug has finally been replicated and fixed, so you can now pick that flower without any hassle.

[h3]Known Bugs[/h3]

UI Issues: I'm actively working on a couple of visual bugs, such as menus opening behind others. While they don't break the game, they might affect the visual appeal and require an additional step of closing one window to access the other. Rest assured, I'll have them sorted soon, hopefully by the next update!

Version 0.1.2.6
  • Cultural Centre, Day 1 - Daniel would get grumpy and break the game if you held a donut and chose not to give it to him. I had a private word with Daniel. The game will now progress if you choose to keep the donut.


Version 0.1.2.7
  • Cafe, Hot Chocolate - Emily has sold out of hot chocolate for the foreseeable future. Only coffee is available for now.

  • Dialogue / Spelling / Grammar - I’ve made some tweaks in a few areas.

  • Mini-Activity, Witch Spell. A couple of items were not highlighting the same as the rest.

  • Colliders and GameObjects - Tweaked colliders, changed active status on some objects and readjusted objects that were floating a little above the ground.

  • Character Movement - The player was previously able to walk around during a fading transition (this was an error created from a previous bug fix).


Version 0.1.2.8
  • Character Movement - the player wouldn’t move after transitioning from the previous scene. This bug was caused when repairing character movement in the previous fix. This bug, while persistent, should now be truly squashed.

  • GameObjects - changed active status on an object.

Patch Update: Version 0.1.2.5

A game breaking bug popped up from the last update. This has now been fixed.

- When buying books on day 2, Lachie would disappear when exiting the book activity.

Non-game breaking - errors when trying to go to main menu. This has been fixed.

Patch Update: Version 0.1.2.4

A game breaking bug popped up from the last update. This has now been fixed.

- When buying books on day 2, the UI would throw an error and you'd have a beautiful array of cursor paw prints. It was very pretty, but alas it had to go.

I present to you 🥁 the latest patch filled with a bunch of fixes.

Bear in mind, I’m still working on some additional fixes while progressing with Chapter Two.

[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]



  • Daniel Day 3 - This was the most impacting issue. On day three, you couldn't give Daniel a donut, become friends, or receive a new entry in the journal. This has now been fixed.

  • Colliders and GameObjects - Tweaked colliders, changed active status on some objects and readjusted objects that were floating a little above the ground.

  • Animation - Children playing in the park would move up or down on the Y axis. Have added a temp fix to stop this from happening. Will be improved in a future update.

  • Spelling / Grammar - Fixed some typos and grammar that had been discovered.

  • Wolf Sense - tweaked how this was being used. Now it will show all interactables, rather than just case specific.

  • Interactable - made the coffee machine interactable on all days.

  • UI Menus - Turned off access to the pause/tablet/inventory UI while an activity window is up.

  • Wolf Metre - This didn’t fire up a couple of times when it should have. This has been fixed.

  • Donuts - The cafe now only sells donuts. Sorry all, the cafe is now out of stock of any other pastry.

  • The light is on - At the swamp, the light is now actually on when Lachie makes the comment on Day 2.
